Absolutely best restaurant in Prague!!! Delicious food, great prices and exquisite service! They even catered to a gluten and lactose allergie with a special off menu dessert! I will definitely visit again!

First time being in a more famcy restaurant. Usually I prefer to get bigger portion so I will feel satisfied after the meal. Here this was the only downside of the place called Eatery. For me it's not an eatery, but enjoyment of eating. You get simple local dishes prepared with care, style and very well balanced so the taste of it threw you off. Amazing experience, but I wouldn't come here if you are looking for a big llate full of food. Otherwise, just come to try some local food with a slighty higher price for an amazing taste experience.

Portions could have been a tad bigger given the prices, the beef could have been less cooked and the carp more cooked. Other than that the music and in general the restaurant was noisy so if you come for the business lunch you may not hear your partners well enough. The service was super friendly and helpful. The food was otherwise tasty..without a wow effect. We loved though their homemade bread with smoked butter spread 😋 we liked the atmosphere in general.

A beautiful concept all around at The Eatery. We stopped in for dinner and requested the Chefs Table to experience it all first hand. Pavel, the co-founder and head chef was there to walk us through the menu and to educate us a bit on Czech cuisine. We took his recommendations and we were more than impressed with the dishes him and his talented crew were pushing out. A fresh and modern twist on the typically heavier Czech meals! All ingredients were local and extremely fresh and the flavors were lovely. My personal favorite dish was the Celery Schnitzel and the roasted garlic soup! Their take on Prague ham was also so creative and fun. Finally, the poached pear dessert was just perfect. Thank you again for the wonderful time! Highly recommend for a great meal and culinary experience!

Great food, great service. Quality over all and without compromise. We were family of 4 and tried most of the dinner menu. Even kids who typically prefer just what they know were superhappy to try and enjoyed these fresh and very delicious combinations. I really can not find any negative. More then recommended.

The cherry on top was that it was all very reasonably priced. We had a super dinner for the price of your average tourist trap, we had a 3 course meal with accompanying wine for under €50 per person. So my beautiful wife and I came here for the (very important) birthday dinner. We had a seat at the counter, from where it was amazing to see the skilled chefs work their magic. The service we experienced throughout the night was 5-star, the staff was so friendly and charming. Food was absolutely amazing - so tasty and beautifully plated. Atmosphere and crowd was perfect, exactly the way we like it on a Saturday night dinner. ;-) All in all The Eatery most definitely is one of the best dining experiences we've ever had worldwide!

besides the really cool interior design and the open kitchen, food is just great. it happens every time to me: I read the menu, it sounds quite "normal" and then there is this surprise about the taste - a must visit every time I am around, doesn't matter if for lunch or dinner. But this year, when we visited TheEatery to celebrate my birthday, service from our waitress was a bit messy and rude in the end. She counted water in the bill twice and also when we asked her to pack our unfinished bottle of wine - she told us that she couldn't pack unfinished bottle as we already started to drink it 🧐 She just brought our bottle back to our table, so we clogged it by ourselves and also asked waitress one more time to give us a paper bag for bottle (btw last year it wasn't a problem and when we asked waiter for the same - he clogged bottle by himself and packed it in a paper bag for wine without any questions). Also this time we were waiting for the serving of main courses much longer than usual, but anyway the food was delicious and everything still could be perfect if we had another waiter this evening.

I ate here for dinner. The ambiance is very nice. I enjoyed the expansive view of the open kitchen. I chose the Koprovka, a typical Czech dish. It was too rich for me. I was visiting Prague from London and had an excellent lunch at The Eatery. I sat at the chefs table and enjoyed watching the chefs methodically work away with precision and care (tasting every item they cook). I had the duck dish for lunch which was exceptionally flavoured with a star anise/five spice sauce that had an excellent shine to it. The potatoes were well executed and had a buttery burst to them, which paired really well with the red cabbage and the perfectly cooked duck. The premises are industrial, but in a way cozy. I have been here many times in a group, in two, but also alone and one always feels good here. The staff has a lot to do with it. There is no need to comment on the dishes, they are all excellent and very affordable at lunch time. The price / performance ratio is definitely friendly. Přeji restauraci mnoho jistě spokojených hostů a vám, kdo čtete tuto recenzi, přeji v brzké budoucnosti dobrou chuť 😊 PS: Jsem rád, že nemá Michelinskou hvězdu (i když brzy se tomu asi nevyhne) a není tak jen jakousi turistickou atrakcí v dnešní době.
