Great view, terrible service, poor food quality. We ordered the sausage for a side order and this was the only thing good we had. It was really good sausage but everything went downhill from there. I had the pork ribs and it was tough and nothing special in flavor. My husband had the duck and we both also didn't enjoy that. The guy assisting us didn't also look pleased having to serve everyone and seemed very nonchalant. Awful experience that really turned us off czech food and hospitality.

Boke. Convince they served me rubbish for a laugh. Order a Czech steak, got a slab of roast beef, with some weird sauce.. Like half curry/half grave, blob of squirty cream and jam.. Weird.

Overpriced place, with the cheapest quality tea. Coffee had no taste. The spoon was not perfectly clean. We were not welcomed at all. Waiters had no smiles. Not recommended to anyone who want to enjoy the moment.

Restaurant right on the Old town square, during the Easter holiday it was hard to find a place. There were people smoking on the terrace. The prices are horrible, 100 Cz crowns (4€) for Coca Cola. The staff is fine. When I came the table was dirty. I don’t recommend you to go to this restaurant. Go somewhere else.

I wish I had taken a pic of my beef stroganoff..it was delicious. The beef chunks were tasty and tender and the stroganoff sauce was different that we do in Canada, it was almost a sweet rose sauce that was the big hit! Had it with fries and dipped them in the sauce, of course. Great service too.

Location, location, location! This is a rare combination of location and a few traditional Czech dishes all in one in the touristy part of Prague which is shamefully rare as most food here is more fast food inspired like pizza, burgers etc... Why be in a different country to eat the same thing at home and pay more?? Anyways, the traditional dishes here were pretty good. I wish they had more Czech options including desserts. Service is the same as a lot of places, more on the cold side but that is a cultural perk.

Very discriminatory place, smelly waiters with horrible standing and behaviour, used to make fun in Czech of people they're serving. Habit to overcharge price to tourist, avoid it!

The staff was very rude and arrogant. They weren't focused on providing a good experience. But instead they were focused on getting as many people as possible to eat at the place. They had weird rules. E.g. people are not allowed to sit inside to eat. People are not allowed to just order something to drink. They have to order to eat otherwise they will be asked to leave. I had a very long hair on top my food. It is a surprise how they didn't see it. When I pointed it out, they took the plate in agressive way. All the time when we talked with them they acted very agressively and sounded very rushed. They didn't care if we feel welcomed or not. At some point I felt like that they didn't want us there. When we asked for the bill, they wrote 10% tip on the bill without asking us if we want to tip, which is not a standard practice in Prague. When I challenged them on the tip the waiter became very agressive. Also, they didn't ask how we want to pay. Also the pricing was weird. A 0.5l beer was 125kr. A 0.2l cola was 100kr. I would avoid the place.

Very lovely place with honest staff. The food is perfect and not so costly. A beautiful view from the restaurant . Have a nice holiday in Prague with U Tyna.

Nice view over the plaza! Everything else is mediocre. We ordered: Caprese, Fries and a mixed salad. The food was not worth the money at all but the view over the plaza made the restaurant an okay experience. Recommend for only drinks with good weather. Do not recommend for food.

Good meal but the waiter was very unfriendly. He obligated us to give a tip and got mad when he taught the tip wasn’t high enough, even though we told him we were students. Would not recommend.

Since when do the waiters ask for tips the way that they write it on the receipt by themselves? Ridiculous, tourist trap.

Food was decent, not the best in Prague but surely decent. Staff was very rude. Given that the place is at one of the most relevant Prague squares, I think that they should give a different image of the city, not the one they actually give ... also, prices very high.

Nice location to sit and watch the views of the old town square. My wife and I just had drink as it was too early to eat. I had a beer and my wife had coffee with ice cream on top. Staff were pleasant and service was great. Toilets clean and tidy.

We were pretty tired after full day of walking and shopping and just stopped here for lunch. Between the two of us we shared: - ham platter - salad - chicken stroganof - goulash Food was fresh and tasty. Great views of the plaza.

Folks, Czech-merican here. To be fair, I only stopped here because it started suddenly raining. But this was just terrible. The prices at U Tyna are ridiculous and not conducive to fair business. If you need a consultant to help you re-cost your menu, I'm wildly expensive, but also available. 2 Aperol Spritz were 350,- and, there was no spritz about it. I'm a food & beverage professional and have never been served a spritz without a sparkling wine in it... also, there was no sparkling water. It was literally still water with a touch of color from the aperol. The servers seemed incredibly annoyed that I hadn't settled on what I would order in the first 90 seconds of seeing the menu, but let's be real, a 0,5 liter beer for 75,- doesn't exactly make you want to stick around and read the whole menu, but I did🤦‍♂️.

waiters not friendly at all, dismissed people just wanting to drink and snubbed us when called. I do not recommend at all

Nice location, great views. Felt very uncomfortable though as only wanted a beer. Waiter took my order then explained I should usually order food for sunset after 6pm.. drank beer quick then left...

A great place: stunning view of Old Town Sq., traditional Czech meals - very tasty, the best Prague draft beer, and very friendly staff. I was impressed and will return again. Peter Lawson, April 2023
