Wanted
to
find
a
good
third
wave
coffee
place
with
various
coffee
selection.
The
place
is
somewhat
minimalistic,
more
or
less
self-service.
There
are
only
shared
spaces
(along
the
windows
and
shared
tables
in
the
middle),
meaning
that
if
you
seek
a
little
privacy
for
yourself
talking,
it’s
not
the
place
for
this.
They
brew
most
of
their
stuff
from
coffee
from
Ethiopia,
although
they
also
have
Guatemala
and
Kenya
(the
roasts
aren’t
noted
anywhere
though..).
We’ve
had
Batch
brew,
which
was
brewed
from
Guatemalan
coffee;
it
was
pretty
much
tasteless,
once
the
coffee
became
a
little
colder
you
could
taste
some
bitter-sweetness,
but
altogether
it
was
a
pretty
“mehhh”
for
a
batch
brew
coffee
-
for
at
the
time
55CZK
(2.25€).
We’ve
also
had
an
espresso
-
brewed
from
Ethiopian
coffee
-,
which
was
a
step
better,
but
still
the
taste
was
a
somewhat
okay-ish
brewed
coffee.
One
thing
to
note,
you
CAN’T
select
the
type
of
coffee
for
your
espresso.
I
think
a
third-wave
coffee
place
shouldn’t
advertise
itself
as
a
third
wave
coffee
place
offering
micro-lot
coffees,
if
you
can’t
even
choose
the
type
of
coffee
you
want
to
drink.
We’ve
also
had
some
cake
-
it
was
good,
nothing
to
really
compliment
or
criticise.
Overall,
this
place
has
not
too
much
to
offer,
especially
for
the
money,
which
seems
to
be
a
little
on
the
overpriced
side
(which,
unfortunately,
can
be
said
for
most
of
Prague’s
coffee
places).
