Another success of czech cuisine! Melting the cheese before serving nachos from the bag is apparently unnecessary for this restaurant! At least they have improved the service compared to previous years. Don't forget to visit their unforgettable toilet that looks like a storage that was peed all over from a 7 years old. Proper hospoda.

The place was big and the service was fast. They had a good beer selection and served food even after 22:00. I liked the atmosphere and would recommend visiting if you want to grab a late night food and some beers.

On 19th August 2023 I was a guest at your restaurant. Due to the lack of space in the beer garden, I was seated inside. After asking the waiter (a gentleman in his 40s) if I could sit here, I was told no, only in this corner at a small table where there was little space. I asked if we could sit at the bigger table, because we wanted to eat something. The waiter who was from the communist times tried to show the guests that he is the boss here in this hall and manages the seats and tables and arranges the guests as he wishes! Totally insolent behaviour, out of place and for these times we live in! At the current time there were only 3 tables in the whole restaurant occupied, so there was no shortage of space. The only thing missing was the inflexibility and imagination of this waiter. This waiter needs to be retrained about customer and guest service. With such behaviour, he deters all guests. When paying, he did not forget to ask if we would leave a tip or not. This is cheeky, what's a tip for him for his rude approach to people? Yes we did leave a tip, but for the kitchen and not for the service. Very good beer selection, tasty cuisine, food was served hot, which speaks well of the kitchen. I must admit that I was there for the first and last time. There are many good establishments in Prague with much nicer waiter service than yours.

Very good place, the food is delicious and the beer very tasty! The place is more like a local bar with an included restaurant and has a nice outdoor space. Very recommendable for tasty local Czech food!

Great neighbourhood pub in a quiet location near the TV Tower. Large menu of mainly Czech food is ok. Good range of Czech beers. Nice to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings

U Sadu is a very nice bar. It is located in a quiet area and there is a small garden in the street. There is a really good choice of beers from different small breweries. The interior is very cool. Here is the challenge to try at least a small glass of each beer they have :)

Yesterday I made an order through the service Foodora. The final amount is about 450 CZK. The dish was raw - the egg was literally not cooked! All they could offer me: - return 100 CZK - wait for the courier who will pick up the food and then bring a replacement! Do you think I used your services to stay hungry for my own money? I hope your clients don’t get poisoned with this approach to cooking.

for late night brews or bites and appetite beyond midnight, groups and plenty of rooms. The place has become a consistent place of mine when nocturnal and looking for a comfortable place to enjoy in the late evening. The food is great quality and fresh. Extensive menu includes choices for vegans and vegetarians as well as czech cuisine and all for great price. They are brewing their own beer and have been open since 1929. Very ideal experience with wide variety of selection options and trust in the quality mixed with a cozy atmosphere of camaraderie. The staff exemplified proper service whether visiting at 02:30 or in the day. Always welcoming and definitely a must go for a true czech experience out of the crabshoot tourist area

It is an excellent place for a late dinner. Slightly out of the city centre, it's worth the walk if you want some delicious Czech cuisine. Menu was enormous, with plenty of choice. Beer selection was also extremely impressive, with a great selection available. Service was excellent, staff were helpful and informative, and menus were provided in both Czech and English.

Super fast and friendly service, great recommendation. Unfortunately, the svickova that I ordered and which was recommended, was just bad. It was impossible to even cut the meat, let alone chew it. The beers were lovely. Not sure I would go again though because of the quite horrible meat.

Surprised by how many different dishes are served in "bramborák: (potatoe pancakes), I just love that food. Tasty and nice. Very nice bonus to the good beers on tap. My favorite place for Guinness in Prague. Plus their outside seating area under the tree is also great.

Nice place to grab beer and Czech cuisine. We got roasted knee and ribs. It was my second time there and I have never regretted that. Strongly recommend visiting and exploring the place.

Food was typical for Prague and good value, but a bit too greasy for my liking. Great atmosphere and friendly too. Very reminiscent of an old English pub with all the Nik naks hanging up around main room. Also has a downstairs too, but didn't venture down there

Great place and slice of old Prague. Though some what a culture clash I like it's proximity to the TV tower. Would. Deffo. Return. For meat, dumplings and beer

We had a great experience as a party of 4. Good selection of food and drinks. Burgers were amazing. Staff were wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Interior choices kept us wondering and looking for more details the whole evening.

Best beer I've found in Prague, the devil's toast was lovely and gf said her scrambled eggs were the best she had ever had. Looking forward to going again.

Fine place if you happen to be near and want a beer and some snacks. Nothing really stands out about it, though. I also had the lamb sausage and bread l- both both felt like they had sand in them. Others didn’t seem bothered so maybe I just got unlucky.

Great house beer Sadek. Ceasar salad also good value and delish. Pasta was tasty. The rest of the food seems a bit overpriced but where it isn't these days?

Best tartar I had. Menu is extensive, so many options to choose from, for vegetarians even. Beers are good. There's a football table.

We were recommended this place by our AirBnB host, and he was spot on. The food was delicious and our server was very friendly! The downstairs area is a hidden gem.

Beer and food good. Staff very pushy to get you to order food and to buy shots not made to feel welcome. Just felt rushed and robbed.

Tasty food at a decent price. Restrooms could be cleaner, though.

Best pub in whole Prague ! Amazing bier made specially for the pub. The food is great, simply great! Perfect! Felt in love with Utopenci and other bier snacks. Not mentioning simple, but best and perftlect steaks and burgers. This is the place you should stop searching. Cause you will get here amazing bier (IPA, APA, lager and wheat even) and crazy great food!

As always, wonderful food, friendly service and excellent beer. The steak tartare was fresh and vibrant, the lamb sausages were spicy and tender, the chicken wings were crispy and salted to perfection and the deviled toast was spicy and delicious. Good beer and a few jagers to wash it all down makes this place and ideal spot. Exceptional from start to finish

The place where I have ever seen most beer snacks offers nearby the various beers in Prague. Nice and welcoming servant, especially older one with glasses, sorry that I couldn't remember his name. Cheers!

The only benefit of this place are long opening hours. Otherwise it's always better to go somewhere else. Male waiters are pretty hostile to most people and if you dare to complain about anything (like food not being as advertised), you're downright suggested to go away and never return.

Great food and astonishingly good beers. The sausage cooked in dark beer, with potato dumplings and caraway bread was superb. The Demon semi-dark beer and Matuska Raptor particularly, were out of this world.

👍👍 For me, the best place to eat in Prague. Not only drinks, but also foods arrive at your table on trains. On some tables, trains return to even take empty plates! On top of that - the food is delicious, same goes for drink. The staff is very kind and polite. I definitely recommend this place.
