Staffs are helpful and courteous. I loved their breakfast spread. It's pretty much a lot so it's always better to book the breakfast when you are booking for the hotel. Rooms are not too big or too fancy for someone who would like to spend a lot of time in hotel. But if you are here to explore the city and come back to the room only to sleep then this is perfect. Location wise also it's very centrally located. Bus, tram, train stations are all nearby. And it is in walking distance from the old town square.

I booked this hotel due to its location and price. The staff were very friendly and the room has the basics for a budget hotel. The only call outs would be that: a) the mattress is nothing but a thin sliver of foam. Not very comfortable. b) there is no safe in the room to secure valuables. For the price, I can't really complain.

I was very happy with my stay here. Definitely worthy of the money. Great location, close to a lot of attractions, shops and restaurants, bus stations etc. Fab and nice staff. Room was clean and tiny with good noise cancellation. My room didn't face the main street so it was quiet at night. The room was at the perfect size for me and my friend. The plug was not really convenient but we didn't really mind. I love the facility - cupboard, open-wardrobe, big desk, spacious bathroom and hot water. The communal area was also cool! Would definitely recommend this ibis!

Basic Hotel. All that was needed as we were hardly there. Central location of all the sights. Breakfast was delicious! We definitely recommend taking public transport to this hotel because the tram stop is on its door step. Would 110% recommend! If we come to this beautiful city again, we'd look no further then this hotel!

My recent stay at Ibis Hotel Old Town Praha left me with mixed impressions, reflecting both the brand's strengths and a few areas for improvement. The hotel's commitment to simplicity and comfort shone through in the inviting ambiance and well-appointed rooms. The main bed was exceptionally comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep. While the overall experience was positive, there were some noteworthy points that could enhance future stays. In the family room designed for four persons, having only one rubbish bin felt insufficient. Additionally, the sofa bed, though comfortable, was set up without prior arrangement and needed to be removed during check-in, causing a slight inconvenience. Moreover, while the provision of tea bags was appreciated, the absence of a kettle in the room was unexpected. Resorting to using the coffee maker machine for hot water presented a challenge. Unfortunately, it seemed that the coffee maker machine had not been adequately cleaned, resulting in brown-colored water after multiple attempts. Despite these minor hiccups, the staff's responsiveness and the hotel's prime location in Old Town Praha added value to the stay. With a focus on addressing these nuances, I believe Ibis Hotel Old Town Praha can continue to provide a delightful experience for its guests.

Overall it's just fine for a budget hotel. Small rooms, but clean and reliable hot water. Adela at the bar though is a great person and very kind to tourists/guests that only speak English, she earns the 5 star SERVICE rating in my review alone!

Great place, great location and very friendly staff. The room was clean and very comfortable. Insanely delicious breakfast! The hotel supports Ukrainians, for which we are very grateful and appreciate this attitude! Thank you for your hospitality!

Rooms were basic but fine, beds a little hard but comfortable, pillows good! Check-in was incredibly slow, there is room for improvement here. Staff at reception was generally friendly, staff at breakfast was really nice. Elevators were fast and comfortable. Good location for walking around the old town. Rooms were surprisingly quiet at night considering the central location. Good climate control in the rooms too.

We spend 3 nights, and the hotel was very busy during the day and very quiet during the night. We stay in a room in front of the lifts which concerns me on the first day because of the possibility of the noisy while others waiting for the lift but I couldn't ear anything from my room which was great. We can't expect luxury on 3* Hotel but we have what you pay, it was clean, comfortable bed, TV and few channels around the world, spacious toilet and housekeeping visit every day to do the bed, collect the rubbish and change the towels when is needed. Breakfast was included and the variety of food was excellent, as 3* hotel we didn't expected so much so much and was refilled all the time for everyone be able to try everything no matter if was 10 minutes before they close the Breakfast. Disabled toilet available but not sure about the wheelchair ramps so I couldn't see any to acess the Breakfast lounge. 3 lifts available and is around 36 rooms per floor, and around 8/9 floors so is quiet big hotel. They have large amount of leaflets with activities displaying the the reception area and maps copies are available upon request. We booked a boat dinner trip with dinner included, so we back just paid and the hotel receptionist dealt with everything and he was including pick up and return. The amazing part if you need to check out at 12 noon and your flight is at night they have a room to keep your luggage all day without extra fees. The hotel is on the right side of this shopping center so very convenient located. Staff are very polite and helpful. If I recommend? Yes, definitely I recommend for sure!

Very good location, polite employees (some do not speak english), clean rooms, hard mattresses (as we prefer them), functional room with all the basics. Breakfast is basic, but good quality. There should be two towels per person, not one. We asked and got second ones, but next day they were gone! Will revisit if we get a chance to come to Prague again

When booking an IBIS you don't expect a luxurious four or five star hotel. IBIS is the budget part of the Accor Group. This hotel is no different. A simple small room to sleep and a small bathroom with toilet, sink and shower to wash. No safe, no fridge and a lot of plastic. The staff was professional, the bed adequate and the location very central, just around the corner of Republic Square with a lot of public transport options. The WiFi was dependable. What blocks me of giving this hotel a higher rating is two things. The first thing is that they had turned of the airconditioning. It is October, but the temperature during the day still reaches 20 degrees Celsius and the room was very hot. You could open a window, but then you would hear a lot of noise coming from the trams in the street, the cars leaving and entering the hotel's garage and the nearby shopping mall. The second con is the state of the bed cover and linen. Sheets with holes in it and a cover with a black stain. This is not acceptable and sheet and cover should have been intercepted and thrown out on the journey from the laundry to my bed. The overall state of clearing was just average, but the sheets and cover on the bed were below par and unworthy of Accor standards.

Perfect location if you won't hire a car. Very central, so you can do everything by foot. Room a bit too small (ibis pattern), but not a problem. Good breakfast. Fair price. Would recommend and would go back again.

Th location of this ibis hotel is perfect, just near the shopping centre palladium and powder tower gate of the city and you can get to old town area in five minutes on foot. The front desk is helpful. The hotel rooms are a bit small but okay. Only a fridge is missing in the rooms. I think the best part of this hotel is its wonderful breakfast. So many food and drinks to choose from. I strongly recommend you to stay here when you are in Prague

Professional and kind staff. Average Ibis rooms with comfortable bed but not very comfortable pillows, Not much storage space but definitely enough for a few nights staying. Only one big towel per person. Toiletries (body soap + shampoo) available. No kettle. Good value for money. Extremely convenient location!

A comfortable hotel with modern rooms, located in the heart of the historical area, just a short walk from the famous Wenceslas Square. The location is ideal for visiting the National Museum and State Opera along with the many other fabulous sights Prague has to offer. With modern, bright rooms, the Ibis Praha Wenceslas Square is a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful city.

This is a clean budget hotel that serves its purpose and I would stay here again. Just ask for extra pillows and don’t expect super cold ac. Quiet rooms. Can’t hear others.

You know what you're going to get with an Ibis hotel - cheap, clean, quiet, good-sized rooms and good service. This hotel is right in the heart of Prague city center and within walking distance of all the popular tourist attractions and a big shopping mall next door.

  • 5/5 Proviso E. 6 months ago on Google
Staff is helpful and welcoming. I needed to check out and come back 4 days later and they kept my suitcase for my return. The rooms are simple and clean. Well planed out with the desk at the window.

  • 2/5 Rand S. 6 months ago on Google
I felt uncomfortable at this hotel! Very small rooms and there is a weird matress over the main matress of the bed and it keeps falling off, The keys of the rooms stopped working for 4 times and i had to walk back to the reception every single time and every time they tell me “you have check out today” although my checkout would be 2 or 3 days after .. every member of the staff was asking me how many nights I have left like they want me to leave. And for my second night I was called by the reception and told that I didn’t even have a reservation and I had to go down from my room and show them my reservation and they repeatedly asked for my passport and even my mom’s passport. The room Doors are hard to close , people randomly opened our room door multiple times. , and that felt very unsafe. NO HEATING AT ALL (in mid October which was cold for us) we called the receptionist about the heating they told us it is turned off and it’s not possible to use Only the ladies at the breakfast area and the bar were nice , the cleaning was good.

Great location, clean, modern rooms. The showers are really good. Definitely recommend for a stay in Prague

  • 2/5 Balveer B. 5 months ago on Google
Location was good and pretty much central. However a couple of key issues with staff especially at the bar. I asked for a win glass and was refused. The bar person refused on the grounds that they have 400 guest to serve and they cannot give glasses to all the customers. This left a pretty bitter taste. Customer service needs improving massively

Was extremely pleased with this Ibis property. Stayed at many before and this by far was one of the best. Simply amenities in the room but covers all our needs. Property is well situated and has friendly service. Would recommend as great option and reasonably priced.

Everything was fine apart from having a very limited view from the bedroom window... Spotlessly clean throughout, really good breakfast selection which was similar to what you'd experience on a typical holiday abroad. And nice and close to main attractions with a tram stop right outside the door.

A very good place. Great location in Praga. The rooms are clean and people welcoming. Nothing to complain about except the breakfast. Many choices but it could be better.

Everything was great. Perfect for short trips or if you are on a budget. Bed was comfy, room was big enough for two people and the breakfast was good too. The view in the yard is not the nicest, but it's still okay. The location is perfect because you are very close to public transport and the city center.

Highly disappointed. I have never came across such Ibis before. If you are a hygiene freak, I highly not recommend this hotel. Firstly, the rooms are very small and congested room. secondly, poor ventilation, dirty towels. Bathroom was extremely smelly and dirty. And upon that straight faced receptionists. Great location but very much poorly maintained hotel. I would say in this price range you will find better options in the same locality.

  • 2/5 Rolf E. 2 years ago on Google
First off: horrible non-helpful personel at check-in. We forgot to book one friend's bed. The charge they ask for such a last minute booking was beyond ridiculous. The person handling our check in was not willing to help at all, and just kept pointing up at the screen behind him that showed said prize. Literally refusing to add a bed to a room that was otherwise perfectly fit for 3 persons, claiming he could only add another seperate room. Second complaint, our room simply stank terribly when we got in. Like sweaty old men's socks. Horrible. Everytime we entered the room and smelled the stench, we'd just look to one another and try to laugh about the absurdity of it all. Besides that, the attitude of the aforementioned person doing our check-in was terrible. We did not hear a single 'welcome to Prague' or 'welcome to the hotel' or 'how was the trip?' after an intense 11 hour drive. That's just plainly amateuristic. We were clearly tourists, packed and loaded, so there were enough opportunities to break the ice and make conversation. Instead he made us feel unwelcome, directly getting to the business of filling our covid-forms and not being helpful at all. It was a terrible experience and I will never go to this place again. Only reason I'm not giving this a 1, is that our experience a year earlier was good.

Good breakfast and decent room. The only negative point is regarding pandemia protection - the staff is not wearing masks and you only need to sign that you had vaccine (no evidence required). It os true that nobody actually is wearing masks anywhere but I excepted that in the hotel there would be a bit more care.

  • 5/5 Ayşegül D. 2 years ago on Google
I made an unfair comment at Booking.com about covid measures of this hotel last year. After visiting around 10 more hotels, I can say that this hotel is quite safe and clean and careful in means of covid measures. Breakfast was good, staff was helpful and polite, location was great.

Would really recommend it. it has a lovely bar, the breakfasts are pretty good. Comfortable beds, friendly service. Perfect location.

  • 4/5 Izabela G. 2 years ago on Google
Great hotel, very clean and well maintained. Perfect location close to main attractions. Great breakfasts menu all fresh and tasty. The only thing they could improve on is hospitality of reception staff. More friendliness and smile...

  • 5/5 Tomáš L. 2 years ago on Google
It was one of the nicest hotel experience in my life. Mr. Receptionist on check-in was amazingly nice and helpful and made us feel really welcome. Newly renovated superior rooms were far more than I could have ever hoped for, hopefully one day all rooms will be in the same style. The breakfast was a great experience with on of the managers personally ensuring it's quality and our well-being. This is how you make your guests feel privileged and welcome, exactly how should it be :)

Good hotel, nice breakfast comfortable bathroom. Only the beds were not that great because they moved really easily.

This hotel is really good value for money! I had a great time staying here. The location is perfect for walking to all the sites in the old town. I definitely recommend staying here. The underground car park is very handy too.

Best hotel In the area, the room are clean you get breakfast included, from English tourists this is ideal in terms of location and quality for price!

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staffs were amazing. Also the manager helped us a lot. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown.

  • 4/5 David G. 1 year ago on Google
I've stayed here several times for short visits and find the hotel pretty good. The location is very convenient, a short walk from Florenc bus station with a large shopping mall next door and tram/metro stops close by. It's easy walking distance from central Prague and all the attractions there. The rooms are quite basic and small, but they're sufficient if you only want a place to crash at night, and the breakfast buffet was actually relatively good and varied.

  • 4/5 Miklos M. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is at a very good location inside the city center of the town. The rooms are clean and the hotel is renovated. The staff was nice and we had an easy stay. The only negative thing here is parking: Parking lot costs 23 euros a day ( more expensive than Netherlands for example!) and the parking lot is so extremely small, that you will fight for your life not to scratch the walls (which already has massive amount of car paint on them).

  • 4/5 Grace W. 2 years ago on Google
Overall our stay was fine. Location is brilliant! Cons: room was very hot (air con must not be operational in winter), we paid for a premium room but did not think it was particularly premium, we did not receive the coffee making facilities as promised, and some of the breakfast things need looking at: a coffee machine would be nice and microwaving a toastie instead of toasting it was not appetising at all. The man at the breakfast service was extremely friendly and very hardworking making sure everything was replenished. Check in and out was very straightforward and we enjoyed our holiday in Prague!

  • 2/5 Jana B. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms were quite dirty, there was mold in the shower and the shelves had a layer of dust in them. You had to use a key card to ride the elevator or open your room, but the cards stopped working frequently and had to be exchanged at the reception. Room service only brought what they said they would sometimes. Breakfast was great, though!

  • 4/5 Laura Oliva M. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel. The room had a private bathroom and a quite complete breakfast was included in the price. The common areas/bar was also nice. We were there for two nights.

  • 2/5 Oren B. 2 years ago on Google
The only good thing I have to say about the hotel is that it has an amazing location on Palladium mall and Republic square... Rooms are not even at 3 star level, sheets were dirty and had hair all over them. Service is ok minus, breakfast is not bad.

  • 5/5 Adelina 1 year ago on Google
We got the premium room 909, it was nice and spacious. The lady who cleaned our room was lovely and helpful. One issue we had was the pillows they were very thin, but the guy in reception send us 2 extra pillows. The bed is on the hard side and the shower was very nice and hot.

  • 4/5 Mark 1 year ago on Google
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights for our city break in Prague. For our holiday we were on a tight budget and wanted to stay somewhere central, so this hotel was perfect for us. The location is really great with good transport links and walkability. The rooms are quite small and basic, but we found them to be clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy and the room stayed cool throughout our stay - This is one of the only hotels where I feel like I didn't need to use the aircon, but when I did it cooled the room down very quickly. The windows also open wide. For a budget hotel in a good location, this is a great choice. Our only complaint is that the bar closed really early, and the rooms could do with some modernisation. Other than that, we had a good stay and would come back here again in future.

  • 2/5 Kevin L. 1 year ago on Google
NO water pressure in their showers (as in drip drip) and NO temp control in your room so rooms are hot or cold depending on the season. As an All Accor Platinum member this is the first Ibis i will never stay at again. Staff was great, breakfast was great, internet was great, and since i paid a little extra for the oversized family room instead of the normal tiny closet rooms my room was a great size, but the lack of temp control and NO water pressure in the shower made this a bad stay.

  • 5/5 dima s. 1 year ago on Google
Best location! Every thing is by walking distance. Stuff was helpful, had some problem with my room, they gave me a new one. The room is very basic but clean! Gave me a late check out without a problem 🙂

  • 4/5 Mike J. 1 year ago on Google
Great location in old town. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was polite and helpful. Elevator has key card requirements which I appreciate. Keeps random people from the sleep rooms. Parking available. Only issue is the restaurant/bar is currently under construction. Would come back.

  • 3/5 osnat f. 2 years ago on Google
It's a very basic hotel, clean rooms, nice breakfast and very well located, just at the center!!  Would love to have some basic services, since it's an hotel not a hostel, such as: smart tv, cleaning the room during the stay (I stayed for 5 days), fresh towels & toilet paper, safety box and a kettel. Also, they don't provide assistent with traveling tips or covid places for your flight home.
