We arrived at 22:00, parked in the hotel parking, and entered the hotel lobby, which was beautiful but unfortunately had someone playing an uncomfortably loud concert piano in the lounge. The room we were given initially had someone else's belongings in it. The staff at the reception desk, who seemed stressed, overworked and understaffed, helped to resolve this issue and moved us to another room, which however was not set up for 3 people as I had booked. The reception and housekeeping staff brought additional bedding and towels, but it was a poor start to our stay. We received cards for complementary drinks at the rooftop bar when we checked in initially but by the time we had sorted the rooming situation out the bar had already closed (23:00). The rooms and halls were clearly outdated, and the elevators were very small. In the second room, the bathroom lighting kept flickering, and the fixtures in the bathtub were coming loose from the wall and also difficult to switch between the shower and bath settings. The windows were similarly difficult to open. The beds were reasonably comfortable, but the room's cleanliness was lacking - one of the windowsills had a melted hard candy on it, and the room service/hotel information card was sticky and greasy to the touch. The TV was disappointingly small (the size of a computer monitor). The room door would not close properly (required a lot of force to close), and the bathroom door would not stay closed or lock at all. The hotel breakfast was easily the best part of the stay, but did not make up for the rest of the disappointment.

Delighted with our stay at this hotel. It was a bit further out from the city centre which I was initially reluctant about, but with an insanely cheap public transport pass (£12 for 72 hours), and the tram stop only a 2 minute walk from the hotel, this was THE way to travel !! Staff were very polite and helpful, rooms soacous, clean and comfortable. The bar was reasonably priced for beer and one evening there was a pianist for some background music which was nice. Breakfast amazing !!! Incredible choice and all very tasty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to those visiting Prague and I will be staying again !

Really loved this place! The room is spacious and it’s easily accessible to downtown via train. The breakfast is great ( extra charge) and the gym is amazing! Fitness is part of my daily life so it’s nice to be able to utilize a facility that is an actual public gym that’s sub attached to the hotel.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are clean. Kitchen is awsome, I really enjoyed it. But. Some stuff needs to be improved, but its not a reason to not choose this hotel. It's an old hotel with its own characteristic things. 😊

Great location if you plan to stay in Prague. Excellent hotel with a sumptuous breakfast and clean rooms. The bar on the 14th floor has a gorgeous view of Prague while you sip your drink and enjoy the great company.

This is a hotel that needs lots of work. Everything was nice back in the day but not anymore. Can’t understand the 4 stars. Bedrooms don’t even have plugs by the bed. We stayed in a suite and the second bedroom didn’t even had night tables. Drapes are either too big or too small for the windows. Will not recommend.

When first entering the Grand Hotel you are greeted with a beautiful lobby, an exquisite exterior, and 2 amazing restaurants. However what you see is not what you expect when you decide to book a room here. I stayed on the upper floors and what I have noticed is that the rooms look old and that they haven't been renovated for at least 30 years. All the amenities were provided but the room was unclean. Blood on the walls, finger prints on the window, pillows that were flat beyond 4 star standards, a very spotty WiFi that was basically unusable for work, and a radiator with a broken knob. The elevator was tiny and I had to make multiple trips up to my room with my luggage, which wasn't a big issue but I was staying on the top floor. The room came with a free bottle of wine and another one for 11.50€. The one that costs money was untouched and a thick layer of dust was on the bottle. This is hazardous for someone with bad dust allergies so I had issues breathing after touching it. The reception helped us book a tour in the city and the reception staff were friendly. The breakfast was a wonderful experience but not enough to make up for the lack of sleep and lack of internet throughout the stay. My room could have been cleaner and definitely needed some repairs. Needless to say this experience didn't live up to my expectations and I was expecting something more exquisite for my stay. In my opinion this 4 star hotel does not live up to its name. Please be cautious when booking.

🇺🇸.Excellent breakfast and nice staff. Room: old carpet, very outdated, dusty old curtains. Bathroom moldy and almost no toiletries just one small body lotion for three nights stay at the hotel. They didn't change linens or vacuum the room.

My stay at Hotel International was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. I can't wait to return, and I've been enthusiastically sharing my experience with all my friends. One standout aspect was the exceptional service from Yuriy, one of the restaurant servers. His friendliness and genuine interest in our well-being made our dining experience memorable. He provided insightful dinner suggestions, adding a personal touch to our stay. In summary, my time at Hotel International was a delightful blend of excellent service, delectable dining, and cozy accommodations. I look forward to the next opportunity to experience the hotel's hospitality again.

We stayed here just before Christmas to visit family and the main lobby, bar and upstairs bar are very modern and emit a friendly atmosphere. Yuiry who was working in both bars was very friendly and spoke very excellent English, recommended us the best liquor for the cocktails and did not mix with the liquor to allow us to taste it. Very friendly and loves to have a conversation with everyone. Will definitely be back, if not to stay, then even just for the bar service from him.

I wish to compliment Mr Iskandar and Denisa at Reception for their excellent service and being so kind and helpful. Also Philip, trainee who works at the breakfast place for his efficiency. Such staff are an asset to your beautiful hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast was superb. Thanks for making my stay a memorable one.

The hotel cannot deducted the money from our card somehow. We Just had a discussion before the day we arrived, And they confirmed the reservation Still alive and we can pay in the hotel. We have arrived and they informed us our reservation cancelled. They would like to offer us a terrible family room and we declined. The staff was not Kind at all. I would not like to recommend this place for anyone.
