Amazing hostel, have so many memories and new phone numbers from the variety of experiences I had here. Great what they're doing also with Ukrainian Refugees! (A whole floor is dedicated to them, when I left there were 60 staying)

Great place to stay! Staff is helpful and polite. Cleanliness was adequate. TV was tiny but we didn't visit Prague to watch television. The street is very noisy but personally I am used to that. Air-conditioning worked flawlessly so no need to open the windows if the noise is too much.

Weekend trip to Prague, so glad we chose Czech Inn for our stay! Excellent location if you are real foodie. Beautiful park and vineyard just down the street and make sure to check out the JZP farmers market! Ask reception staff for tips, they're great with recommendations. We must say a big thank you to the housekeepers, our room was spotless and what a view!! Thank you:) we'll be back again!

The place is a quality one. The man at the desk - Anshol - is phenomenal, he gave me a huge help, "beyond the possibilities"... extremely courteously and the whole stay had the same "level". Czech Inn is superb! it's very pleasant and stylish. The hostel has its own basement pub, with mini stage(!) for musicians and also has a great mini bar. Beds are excellent, room is calm. Only weak point is the distance from the center. But the tram stop is nearby.

Great hostel for the price, comfort and security. The showers were a little annoying that you had to push the knob every 15s (could have done that for the faucets, instead of the showers). The hostel room was safe and secure, with also a large wooden box under the bed to lock your belongings which i highly liked. The place is a little way from the city center, but other than that it was a fantastic stay. Would highly recommend for travelers.

great rooms, comfy beds, great amenities. clean & modern. kitchen available but not crowded. super nice and helpful staff. best of all though was all the events that made sure people interacted! first night we had trivia, second night traveller’s meetup. we met lots of people!

Hostel and bar are both great. The social nights were really good for meeting and getting to know people. I stayed in the large basement dorm, no issue with beds. Just had some small lights that stayed on all night and no curtains over the windows so you were awake at 6am if you didn’t put a curtain around your bed frame. When I was there did have someone go through our possessions when we got back from a night out. Tried to take my friends passport but saw them walk off with it and got it back. So no fault of the hostels but definitely lock up any valuables when you go, especially when in one of the bigger rooms.

Great hostel to meet new people. The rooms were very clean and the bar downstairs is very cheap and good vibes. The only downside is that the kitchen is quite small and the electricity didn’t work very well but eating out in Prague isn’t expensive either! I would highly recommend this Hostel to young (solo) travelers

For the price this is the best hostel I stayed at. Checking in is really easy, friendly staff, and good breakfast. Facilities works well, and despite staying in a room with 35 other people, I slept well and felt safe, and made lots of friends! Would recommend to anyone staying in Prague.

Do not book the large 32 bed dorm there is a bed bug infestation and when we first went to show reception they said we could change beds. However, our other beds also had bed bugs so it took a second time of complaining before we could get our rooms changed. Additionally, the washing and drying is way overpriced. The only positive is the tram stop is close by.

Spent 2 nights here in the 36-person dorm. Was semi-expecting it to be chaos (because it’s 36 people in one room lol) but it was actually great. The room is compartmentalized so you don’t really notice, and you have plenty of space to yourself. Showers and toilets clean and tidy. The bar is a nice little spot (god bless those happy hour prices, beer cheaper than water). Most importantly though the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, responding ti emails immediately. Will 100% be coming back here should I find myself in Prague.

Got to the front of the hostel to find out it was closed!! We weren't emailed with an alternative and there were no rooms available at the alternate hostel listed on a piece of paper outside the door. Horrible communication - thank goodness we didn't pay in advance!

A wonderful hostel, in fact it serves as if it is a hotel. It is very crank and tidy, the staff is really helpful and rooms are well equipped and furnished. You can get there by taking one tram which stops in front of the hotel. The breakfast is okey. This hostel has made the hostel standards higher and even families can stay here with great pleasure!

I loved here! [What I liked] Great location - close to the city centre, Clean rooms, Beds with privacy curtain, Well equipped kitchen (a bit small), Big and cozy common area, Their own cafe, Convenience store right across the road [Something that could be better] The shower (water temperature) was borderline cool and warm....which was actually cold for January!

The building itself is quite charming, matching the friendliness of their staff members. While the location is a bit further from the main attractions, there's a tram stop conveniently located just 1-2 minutes away from the hostel. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the beds and the overall facilities, which were not just good but exceptionally clean

LOVED this hostel. It's a top choice for solo travelers!! The hostel has a bar downstairs and the prices are amazing and EVERY NICE they host a concert, jamming, game night or any kind of event. The staff is really friendly, they are actually also wanting to make friends with the travelers. The kitchen is modern, clean, new and well equipped and it's really nice to cook there. I stayed in the biggest room for 36 people (there were more than half of it definitely), and it was super calm and it even smelled good because the staff left the windows open during the day to circulate the air inside of the room. It was spacious, the bathroom were a little small, but the shower was nice.

Me and my friends really enjoyed staying in this hostel. The atmosphere is really chill and friendly and the staff is helpful. The fact that the bathrooms are on the second floor is really useful, because you can go shower whenever you want and you don’t have to wait for you friends to finish (because there are multiple shower cabins). The bathrooms were super clean and comfortable. Me and my friends were staying in a dorm room with other 8/9 people. The beds were really comfortable and the curtains you have on your beds were perfect to keep our privacy. We also liked breakfast, which is a buffet, the only thing we recommend is maybe adding more vegan options (there was soy milk and marmalade). Overall this was one of the best hostel we went to and we’d love to return some day. Totally recommend.

nicest hostel I've ever been to, only the key cards seem to not work half the time (reception will be able to give you a new one though). be aware there is live music in the bar downstairs until ~12am though (i personally enjoyed it, but my roommates struggled to fall asleep)

  • 5/5 Martina H. 1 year ago on Google
One of my favourite hostels in Europe so far. The “premium“ room is just amazing! Lots of space, private kitchen, big storage, overall very good! The staff was also very nice, and breakfast is a nice to have for the price. The location is not superb, a bit far from the center. But the tram is at the door and it takes you around 15-20 minutes to get there, so good anyway. Would 100% stay again! 💖

I am very happy with my overall experience of staying here. It was my first solo travel and the place has easy-going vibe to it. There is ample common area and cafe to sit. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend the place! :)

chill place. fun bar. great staff for the most part. only complaint were the smelly people in my room, but obviously that has nothing to do with the hostel itself. however for that reason I do not recommend the 36 people room honestly

  • 3/5 Brayden S. 1 year ago on Google
Showers unfortunately were never warm more than 5 minutes. Privacy in washrooms was very low. Soap/toilet paper was regularly out. 3 stars for dorms charging stations built in to the bunks. Pic: The photo is the view from inside the men's washrooms shower. The white door you see in the crack is the women's washrooms and also where everyone brushes their teeth. The gap is very large for a shower.

  • 5/5 laura v. 1 year ago on Google
Loved this hostel. I want to point out that the female-only five bed en-suite is one of two dorms in an apartment, so you’re actually sharing one bathroom with 10 people. A Tram 22 stop is a few steps away, which will take you straight into Old Town.

  • 4/5 Micah M. 10 months ago on Google
I had a wonderful 2 night stay in one of the solo rooms. The room was nice, nothing exceptional. The shower was the best part. Very modern and spacious. Every one of the staff I interacted with was polite and helpful. The location was great considering the bus stop right outside the entrance with super easy access to everything in Prague. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

  • 4/5 Nicole C. 11 months ago on Google
Stayed 2 nights. Boyfriend and I opted for the male/female-only dorms which we found to be fine since we were located on the same floor. Female-only dorms included a full bathroom (toilet, shower, sink), another shower room, and a separate sink. There were many toilets and showers available throughout the floor which was appreciated. Quiet times were from 11pm-8am which many people respected, however, we found that the lobby was very loud and busy at midnight. Many shared facilities and spaces available (e.g., kitchen, bar, work space, cafe) but practically no private spaces to work or study in peace. We found this to be troubling since the only space my boyfriend and I had to meet to speak and plan was in the common areas that were often very loud. Other cons: showers were never really hot and shut off automatically after 15 seconds, and the washroom in the dorms could be cleaned better. Aside from these things, we had a decent stay at Czech Inn as it was pretty spacious and relatively clean. Lots of things to do at night, and the bar was quite unique!

Unique and stylish hostel in the middle of Prague's Old Town, situated directly at the tram line 22, taking you to many sights and other central locations in Prague. Rooms are fine for a hostel, having all the necessary amenities and enough shared bathrooms or showers on each floor. Our driver had a private room with a private bathroom and was very satisfied. The hostel staff was very friendly before, during and after our stay. Communication for our group booking of about 40 people went smoothly, and response times were quick.

I was there for 5 days 5-06-2023 until 10-06-2023 Highly recommended: very clean and nice 5 stars Staff: they can help u with everything u need just ask them also 5 stars The toilets and the bathrooms are very clean Beds are so organised and they changing the bedding The reception is open24 hours The hostel address about 30 metres from the tram 🚊 There are a kitchen to make food for your self no need to spend your money to buy food from the expensive restaurants and it’s also very nice and clean. Finally they have a bar ☺️ Totally : they deserves 5 stars If u have any questions about the place and city in general don’t hesitate to text me on instagram: @mister.aall

Very lovely hostel, very good social events with comedy, live music and VERY cheap and good drinks! It’s in a cute residential neighbourhood with loads of bars. Basement room is very dark all day so choose a different room if you need natural light. Good value for money, kitchen included. Would stay again

  • 5/5 daniel b. 5 months ago on Google
Its a nice place and easy to get to. Fits nicely in the neighborhood and is surrounded by typical mini markets and bars and some restaurants. I would take that "affordable luxury" with a grain of salt though. Especially since someone forgot the mop bucket with stinky water in the hallway and so it smelled like rot. Besides that, its a nice place to stay for a night or more.

Great hostel all in all. Clean, modern, well priced. Not located within the main tourist district but just one tram ride away from it. As far as laundry, they do offer self service laundry but I thought their machines weren't very good. I ended up doing laundry at Andy's laundromat, a 10 minute walk away which was much better.

Walking distance location or easy to reach by tram. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Showers and toilets were also clean and you had privacy. Perfect hostel that makes you want to stay in Prague.

Best hostel I have ever stayed in! Staying in 10 this trip, on #8 and it is the best so far and will probably be the best. Great social environment but also quiet spaces. Public transportation to the city center is right outside of it and it runs very frequently.

First time staying in Prague and a hostel. Absolutely loved it! Great rooms, decent location and superb service. 20min walk to town center. Good shower facilites. They offer alot of events like live music in their lovely bar. Good value for money!

A bit far from the city center, but otherwise a decent place for a few nights. Dorms were peaceful to sleep. Showers smelled pretty bad and had no rack to keep shampoo and soap. You'd be forced to keep it on the ground or outside the door.

I stayed in a female dorm for three nights. I felt safe. The Hostel is clean. They offer breakfast as well. The location of the hostel is great. It is near public transport. I can recommend.

  • 4/5 Eleanor-Riis H. 6 months ago on Google
I enjoyed my time in Czech. I did not want to pay a lot for a place where I know I wouldn't be staying for longer than a few hours for sleep. I just needed a place to sleep and this place served this purpose. The security level was excellent. In fact, it had me scared and wondering if things could go wrong. The rooms were small, maybe it's where I chose to be, but I liked how quaint it was. Location wise, it's easily accessible by trams and buses and it was dirt cheap to get the tickets. I'm happy I stayed here.

  • 4/5 Kev B. 6 months ago on Google
Dropped a star for the paper thin walls. Could even hear someone doing up their flies. Other than that the room was lovely, huge windows that fully open. Lush shower. Location was a bit of out town but directly opposite a tram stop, which is quick and easy. Not the friendliest staff, but they seem super busy. Vietnamese restaurant 200m away is amazing.

This was by fair the best Hostel we have stayed in the past 3 weeks. The private double room was immaculate, the bathroom was also stunning with an awesome view.m, breakfast was average and we have to get our card reactivated as it wouldn’t let us in but apart from that it was great!

  • 3/5 Olena G. 8 months ago on Google
It's a hostel from young people, very noisy and not comfortable. There is no place for parking, only on the street along the road. Cleaning in rooms is not good. Very expensive for such kind of hostel / hotel. We had separate rooms with shower and toilet in the room. But mostly there rooms for sharing like in a hostel.

  • 5/5 Moriel 6 months ago on Google
I stayed in the 36 bed room upstairs, it better than I expected. Bed was clean everything was fine. There is also a chill area a kitchen and a bar with daily events. A very cool Hostel. There is also a big room with 36 beds in the Celler that is not for everyone. But for the price you really can’t complain.

  • 5/5 maya 7 months ago on Google
had a wonderful experience here! the location is not too central, but the tram station is just across the street and there was a lovely park a minute away (with a vineyard!). we stayed in the 36 people room, which was a little intimidating at first but the room is actually separated into multiple sections. the beds were fine, the showers were great, we just missed a little more space to place little things, both near our beds and in the bathroom (just a small complaint tho). we got the breakfast (6.50€) once and it was fine, but prague is cheap enough that you can get something better for the same price / cheaper. the kitchen was so cozy, there were always people hanging out and cooking. the equipment was a little lacking but you could make do. overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

What an incredible experience I had in Prague, much thanks to the Czech Inn team. The staff is awesome(big love to Adam, Petra, Elena, Santosh), the location is superb, spacious room, and amazing breakfast. We chose Czech Inn for our business meeting lodging, and they went above and beyond to make everything work spotlessly. Thanks a lot guys!

This was such a pleasant expirience from other hostels. Really clean rooms and showers. Great service from the employees, always ready to help out when required. Only wished if the employees knew more about local bars and reccomendations, not just the touristy stuff. Also great bar with affordable rates downstairs!

For the price i have nothing to complain about. Nice and helpful stuff. Just a reminder, the underground bar is super cool but cash only and CZK only.

  • 5/5 Ivana A. 2 years ago on Google
Although a tad outside of the city center, it was SUPER easy to get to local sites in 15-20 minutes via the public transportation literally right outside of the hostel's door. We had a private room and loved it, felt like a hotel. Really sweet cleaning staff too.

  • 5/5 Pedro Collico S. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent hostel! Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Very well kept. The staff was kind and helpful. I loved the neighbourhood since it is not crowded and loaded of tourist, but instead has a charm of its own. I will be back!!

Located rather far from the inner city it was a nice enough place, unfortunately not as busy with social people as I would have liked to to be, due to the pandemic. We rented a studio appt for 5 people and it was cleaned daily; we were surprised to find that the cleaners even washed our dishes.

I was on a tour of Europe and Prague was my last stop. After staying at a hostel in Paris, I did not have many expectations about the quality/size of the room, but Czech Inn blew me away. I had my own private suite in the hostel and the amenities provided/quality of the place is better than any 5 star hotel. The Indian Students working at the front desk are also very helpful with directions or anything you need to know about the city in general (Bolt/places to eat/bars)etc. If I visit Prague again, I will be staying at Czech Inn

Booked a double bedroom, spacious in its way for the price, had its own washing basin and a mirror in the room so quite handy. The showers and toilet were always clean and also tried the continental breakfast. It was good quality and very nice place to have your meals. The only drawback for me was two girls at the reception that were kind of rude and unwelcoming when i checked inn

It's a very nice hostel. The rooms and beds are comfortable with curtains on all the beds in my room. The lockers under the bed are very large so you can store your things easily. The bathrooms are big and clean, although I would prefer if the showers didn't require you to keep pushing the button for water and if the bar accepted credit cards, but these are small details. Overall I'd definitely recommend the place.

  • 5/5 Daniel H. 1 year ago on Google
Enjoyed my stay here. Staff was super friendly. I had booked the bunk bed in the room for 36 people but it wasn't that bad as it first seems like. Of course you shouldn't mind noise, as people come and go in the evenings and mornings, or at least bring some earplugs in case. On weekdays it is even less frequented and quieter. The breakfast was also a good deal since it's unlimited and offering many options like bread, cereals, fruits and drinks. There is even an ATM machine in the lobby, the only one I found all over Prague which doesn't charge you any additional fees for withdrawing money

Cool place to stay but the time i have stayed there (late July) were so many childrens probably from highschool and it was so noisy in the hallway even in the late hours. Hostel’s pub closes too early like 9pm. Staffs are highly friendly. Little far away from touristic destinations but highly close to the tram stop which is okay. If i visit Prague again i can stay there again i suppose.

  • 3/5 Alexander R. 1 year ago on Google
On the one hand, its definitely one of the best quality hostel's I've stayed at in terms of room/bed/service/etc. On the other hand it was VERY hot, so we had to sleep with windows open and the other guests outside were LOUD way past 3:30am every day, so it was impossible to sleep. Probably would be 5 stars if the staff enforced their own night noise rules.

  • 4/5 Dennis O. 1 year ago on Google
Friendly people work there and the pub downstairs is amazing and so cheap. I liked the Events, but they had it not everyday and on Monday it's closed. The bad part: -My room was on the third floor and the shower on the second floor, very uncomfortable. -Another bad part but it's not about the hostel more about the behaviour of some people going there. If you stay in a big Room, be prepared that a lot of groups very young people, drinking and partying all the time. So it's hard to get a good rest. But It was my fault, next time I will buy a room with less people.

We booked for two nights and because they overbooked so forced us to check out the following day then check back in after 3pm despite already having settled our bags in. We had to move all our luggage into another room then move it back into a new room. There was no apology, empathy just a simple “we reserve the right to do this under our agreement which you signed”. The lady at the reception working 2nd July during midday was extremely rude and did not care for our situation whatsoever.

i have been here 6 times already and i have always enjoyed my stay. this time, it was different. we booked a private room and had to wait until 3 p.m. until the room was ready - they didn't even bother to apologize. the room itself was really mediocre and the cleaning lady didnt do much cleaning. the first night i hardly slept because it was so noisy. it was okay, but i would never come again.

I got in late just for few hours between trains and the guy at the reception (indian guy) said its fully booked so I asked to stay there few hours till I get my train and he agreed , after 10m he decided to start being rude to me and telling me I don't have a room and I should leave and that his going yo call the police if I won't, I was shocked and left obviously , but its the last time i ever step in yhis place again .

The accommodations at this place are excellent, featuring clean rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The bar and restaurant are beautifully designed, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast, priced at 6 Euros, is particularly noteworthy. I appreciated their flexibility with an early check-in, and the checkout time of 12pm is more accommodating compared to other places that often require earlier departures. Another bonus is the free locker for post-checkout storage, a service that some other hostels charge for. Overall, it's truly one of the best places to stay.
