We had good communication with the staff making reservations and securing a shuttle to and from the airport. The breakfast each morning was wonderful and had everything we could want. Champagne was a nice touch! The room was stocked and spacious. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again and will be recommending it to friends. Thank you!

The hotel is very well situated, right in the centre of the old town, in a square just a few steps from the Astronomical Clock. You can walk anywhere in the historic area without requiring any public transport. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental, with a variety of delicious options. Furthermore, the breakfast schedule is very accommodating (until 11:00 AM). Parking is located elsewhere, about a 5-minute walk away, in an underground garage with a height limit. Initially, it seemed to me that the rate at this hotel is a tad expensive. Nevertheless, because I didn't make use of public transport at all and considering the entirely positive experience, overall, it was a very good choice.

It’s perfect. Absolutely perfect. The location, room, staff (Special shout out to Mario). All perfect. The breakfast spread is quite nice. I’ve never been offered champagne at a buffet breakfast anywhere else 😋. The housekeeping staff is super sweet. On one day I left my room at 6 pm and they still cleaned the room. Even folded some clothes I’d left on the bed. Unbelievable. Breakfast is served till 11 am. Brilliant. And checkout time is 12 pm. This hotel is a little gem 💎. PERFECT !!!

The staff were very courteous and attentive. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom shower was very uncomfortable and difficult to use. Hotel website photos of the executive suites show step-in showers, but our room had an odd triangular-shaped bathtub with a shower head about 100cm high. In order to shower, we had to sit in the tub, apply soap, then rinse by using the shower head like a hose. The high side of the tub was difficult for me to step into (I’m 160cm tall) due to my back issue of a herniated disc. The front desk said there were no other rooms available. Disappointed that we reserved 3 months in advance via the hotel website for €235 a night, and received a room that was not true to website photos and not 100% comfortable.

Excellent stay at Rott Hotel. Right in the centre near Old Town Square makes walking everywhere so easy. We stayed in the executive suit. Great value for money with large sitting room, ample storage areas, lovely furnishings and views from big windows that you can open for fresh air. Seperate toilet to bathroom was great. The stand out breakfast must be the best buffet we have ever had. It is served from 7.30 till 11 am every day and you are offered champagne with your meal. Two lifts make it easy to get up and down. We enjoyed the rooftop verandah with spectacular views of the city. Highly recommend.

Hotel Rott is one of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed. The rooms are comfortable, the view is stunning, the location truly could not be better. You can just walk out the front door and have access to a dozen restaurants. The Astronomical Clock is right around the corner, just steps from the door. You are steps away from the main square and you’re able to easily walk to so many places. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and pleasant. I did not expect everyone and there to be able to speak English, but it seems like everyone did so I never had any problem with communication. The breakfast there is the most insane thing I’ve ever seen. I have never seen a breakfast buffet like what they offer. I typically avoid hotel breakfast buffets because they are not knowing to be great. I’m glad that we checked this one out, because there were more options for food and beverages than I ever could’ve imagined. Definitely don’t skip breakfast. We had a wonderful time in Prague, a lot of that was due to having a wonderful and friendly place to stay. I have absolutely no complaints.

My wife and I travelled from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA to Prague for visit. We stayed in Hotel Rott. It was undoubtedly a wonderful pick to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Specially the General Manager, Jana Budinská, she was super helpful in guiding us through in many ways. Rooms are very clean and maintained clean. The hotel has good breakfast services. Hotel Rott is in the middle of all the major attractions within walking distance. It was a perfect venue for visitor. We loved our stay there indeed.

We stayed at a Hotel Rott for one week in September 2023. The location was amazing; extremely walkable to many sights. The staff, including the front desk and breakfast support were all so helpful and efficient. The building the hotel is in, is old and historic. The hotel is charming, very well maintained, clean and the rooms are very comfortable. We were upgraded to a Superior room; probably because we booked directly with the hotel and stayed for 7 nights. Our room faced Little Square which was loud at night, but once we closed the window we heard nothing. The windows are amazingly soundproof! In fact the hotel was quiet. We really never heard other guests until we went to the breakfast room. The daily breakfast was a buffet with many choices. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. We had a wonderful stay.

From my very first contact with them via email, through a four-day stay, and a helpful departure at 0330, the people at the hotel were most considerate. The visit to Prague was a romantic getaway for my wife and me. As requested, there were flowers in our room upon arrival. Our room looked out over the small "square" Malé Námestí, on the second floor, sufficiently above the noise in the square (also thanks to the double windows). The front desk assisted with coordinating a meeting that had been problematic via email. And I haven't even mentioned breakfast. Oh what a spread of delicious options! As a well-traveled person, I'm not easily impressed with breakfast buffets, but at Hotel Rott, it was extraordinarily extensive from savory to sweet. I don't want to make it seem that the high point of our stay was breakfast, but it certainly contributed to the start of every day during our visit. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms, courteous staff, and substantial breakfast...what more could you ask? I wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended.

The room may look a bit old-fashioned but the rooms are very clean. Good beds and pillows to sleep on. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff were super friendly. The hotel is centrally located and yet you hardly hear any noise from outside. Next visit to Prague will definitely be back in this hotel.

The location is noisy, however you are right bang in the Center of town. Perhaps try and get a room on the inside. It was fully booked when we were there. The staff is tremendous and the breakfast is well rounded and fresh. The rooms have an old world charm. For me just a bit too old world. But the mattress was good. The pillows are quiet lumpy. In total stay a Night or 2 not longer 😉

I loved this hotel. The location is unmatched, right in the heart of Old Prague, a few minutes (or seconds) walk from so many tourist attractions. The rooms are surprisingly spacious for a European hotel – and air conditioned! The beds are very comfortable, and the amenities are generally good. The only cons are: there's a safe, but it's quite small; a laptop or a large tablet would not fit in it. And the shower is very narrow and quite claustrophobic. But those are rather minor faults. The reception staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was good but not great. The bread was not always fresh. The champagne was a nice touch, and there was quite a wide selection of tasty food, but it was often unclear what the exact ingredients were (for example, what was vegetarian, contained lactose or gluten, etc.). There were no vegan cheeses or spreads except for the good old margarine. The staff was nice but not very helpful, and some servers barely spoke any English. Overall, I would definitely return to the Rott. Its location, space, and old European charm overcome some minor deficiencies and make it a very pleasant place to stay at while in Prague.

Beautiful hotel; helpful and professional front desk; good breakfast with lots of options; fantastic location; offers transportation to/from the airport (for a fee) with friendly drivers; felt safe in area; beautiful large room; room cleaning people were thorough and friendly. The only negative is that the hallway lights to our room were not on at night so it was dark. I would need to use my cell phone light to go to my room as it was at the end of the hallway. With that being said, I would still give this a 10/10 rating. Fantastic hotel!!

Excellent location, oldschool interior. Old style heater, cannot set temperature only intensity, the floor heaters control in the bathroom looks 100 ys old and was not working, the bathroom is dirty from close, the carpet is worn. It definitely needs a face-lift ASAP! The reception guy was very nice!

We arrived very early, like 10 AM, and were just looking to drop our luggage off - well to our surprise our room was ready!! Not only that, but the hotel manager was working the front desk and was EXCEPTIONAL!! I think his name was Marco, but I waited too long to write this, so I could be wrong. Location was superb!! Literally next door to The Hard Rock Cafe and a 3 minute stroll to the old town center. The rooms were clean, comfy and quiet. The same manager even left us a hand written note with chocolates!! The breakfast was lovely and included unlimited sparkling wine - a wonderful perk!! We will absolutely stay here again when returning to Prague

Hotel Rott was a great decision. We enjoyed every minute there. The location is absolutely the best, very close to all the attractions, the room was clean, the bed was big and comfortable, the breakfast was very good, and the bathroom was great too. But above all that - the service was just amazing. The staff was so pleasant and welcoming and also helped my paryner decorate our room for my birthday. We definitely recommend going there!

We loved our stay at Hotel Rott. Amazing location, friendly and helpful staff and great complimentary breakfast buffet. We loved that the building had lots of character. It was loud at night one of the nights we were there but the other nights it was surprisingly very quiet for such a busy area. They do provide ear plugs, if needed. Do yourself a favor and book directly on the hotel website so you get access to their rooftop with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. We went up at sunset and it was breathtaking!

The room may look a bit smaller or old-fashioned but the rooms are really very clean. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast is great! The hotel is centrally located in the old town square and yet you hardly hear any noise from outside. I will note that it is convenient if you want to do all of the touristy activities, but less so if you’d like to travel a bit farther from the city center.

The location is amazing! Everything we wanted to do was walking distance from the hotel. The customer service is unmatched in helpfulness and hospitality. They even helped me figure out how to pack an awkwardly shaped fragile item! We have already recommended this hotel to friends.

You must stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast is unbelievable, and is INCLUDED in the price of the room! The best part about staying there is that it is right on Old Town Square! You step out the door, and there are 5 restaurants to choose from, and that is just outside the door. The Astronomical Clock is 50 meters around the corner. Charles Bridge is a 10 minute walk. So much more.

Perfect location in old historic Prague! We were literally in the center of it all which made our visit so much more enjoyable. I am traveling with my two senior parents and tried to avoid catching trains and public transportation as much as possible to make it easier on them. Hotel Rott was within a few minutes walking distance from Charle's Bridge, cathedral, shops, restaurants and more. The hotel is very clean and service is outstanding, the breakfast buffet was delicious every morning and the views from the 5th floor are beautiful! We will definitely stay here in our next visit to Prague.

Beautiful hotel right around the corner from the old town square. Staff were so friendly and we especially loved the complimentary prosecco at breakfast! Staying here made our time in Prague really special.

Perfect location, comfortable room, good service. We had a few issues with wellness and a promise for a roof that was actually closed that harmed the overall experience.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Prague, you’ve found it!! From the booking process with Jana, to the smiling faces that greeted us at reception day in and day out, it’s the little things that add up to equal the incredible experience Hotel Rott gave us. Location is just the beginning of what’s great about this hotel, a quiet side street just around the corner from the town square. EVERYTHING is walking distance. Breakfast was vast, delicious, and consistent daily. There is minimal wait time for elevators as their are two to choose from. The cleaning staff was on time daily and took the extra step to organize our shoes and fold our daughters’ lovey blankets on the bed. Water, coffee, and tea were stocked daily in the room, welcome chocolates awaited us on check in day. The place is kept IMMACULATE, beds are cozy, bathrooms updated and feel like home. I kept wondering how we could be in such a nice place at such a fair and reasonable price. I could go on. The only regret is that we didn’t have time to try the hotel restaurant. I’m not kidding, go ahead and choose Hotel Rott, you’re gonna love it.

We booked a room for 3 adults as our Grandson is 16 yrs now. We expected a sofa bed in the room which worried us somewhat as he is 6'6". We shouldn't have worried. We were given room 501 on the top floor which was more of a suite really. A single and a double bedroom with lovely views over the Old Town rooftops. Beautiful basement breakfast room with a huge selection of food and open till 11 am. Couldn't fault the hotel in any way and staff are lovely. Borrowed hotel umbrellas on the one rainy day. We were there for 3 nights starting 21st April 2022 and what a bargain for a top class hotel. .. a little over £50 pp per night including breakfast! It's also ideally situated bang in the centre of the Old Town. Any further trips to Prague it's Hotel Rott for us 😀

Hotel Rott exceeded all my expectations! I was quickly checked-in by the very professional, courteous, & accommodating staff. I was offered many services like authentic Thai massages, laundry services, & taxi pickup when I check out. My room came complete with complementary bottle of wine, which was great to enjoy while taking in the view of the small square outside my window. The large bathroom had everything I needed including heated floors & hot shower. The breakfast was amazing & spared no expense! The staff was very kind and took pride in how they presented themselves. Complete with champagne, fresh fruit, breads, delicious eggs & sausage, my day started off great & ready to enjoy my favorite city in the world! My checkout was quick & was called a cab from a trustworthy & affordable service. Hotel Rott will be the only place I stay & recommend to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Prague.

Hotel Rott location is beside the old town square. Hotel is spotlessly clean, good size rooms with good AC. Breakfast excellent, staff very friendly and always ready to help. Linen and towels changed every day. Overall stay was excellent and highly recommended

I believe "it speaks for itself"...excellent hotel, great breakfast, wonderful stuff! (Especially the guy with the beard...😊). Room was perfect as we requested. Bottle of wine, champagne on the roof terrace...bottom line: we will recommend do not worry...see you next time!

Excellent location, you can walk all attraction places, bars, restaurants and night clubs. Staff is so nice and kind. Rooms are clean and quiet. And the biggest plus is extraordinary breakfast. They even serve prosecco at breakfast. Definitely recommended.

My husband and I were doing a quick tour of Europe and decided to stop in Prague for 2 days. Upon a quick search of hotels in Old Town, we came upon Hotel Rott and decided to give it a try. It was reasonably priced, very clean and comfortable and the staff was tremendous. We checked in rather late and wanted to do a city tour the next morning. The Reception staff member found us a tour that was available, booked it and gave us all the information. The tour was wonderful and we are so appreciative of his recommendation. Breakfast was wonderful and offered just the right amenities, including champagne! The room was comfortable (though the shower was a bit tight), and the hotel is PERFECTLY located in the city square convenient to many restaurants, the clock and the Charles Bridge. Highly recommend Hotel Rott!

Cannot begin to express how wonderful our stay was. Breakfast is unreal, the terrace was superb, staff were wonderful (big shout out to the guy with the big smile who works nights mostly from what I can tell- he was hilarious and very fun) Rooms were gorgeous, everything was truly amazing and I can't reccomend this hotel highly enough. Thanks again Hotel Rott- you guys were flawless!

The location of Hotel Rott on Male Namesti could not have been better, within a couple minutes walking distance to the Town Hall, Astronomical Clock, and the Tourist Information Office, with easy access to the Charles Bridge, and the Jewish town. Our superior room was spacious and clean. For some reason our room was not cleaned on our first day of 6, but after notifying the front desk after a long day of touring, housekeeping took care of the oversight. We would have liked to have had wash cloths provided in the bathroom. Other 4 star hotels in Vienna and Zurich that we have stayed in provide them. We thought breakfast was OK, but nothing to rave about. There was lots to choose from. The scrambled eggs were cold and the hard boiled eggs were kept hot. Many other 4 star properties provide made-to-order omelets, something we would have liked. The croissants were buttery and very flaky, but the pastries were too sweet for us. The large rolls were fresh but on the weekend, less so. The tables in the breakfast room were very close to one another. I almost overturned our table for 2 when I put too much weight on the edge of the table in trying to get up so as not to push up against another guest sitting behind me at another table. The front desk personnel were cordial and helpful.

The best hotel in Prague! The location is the best you can find, just behind the Astronomical clock. Rooms are warm and cozy. People who work at the hotel are very kind and helpful. The breakfast had so many options and everything was delicious. 1000% recommend it. Can’t wait to visit this place again 🖤the view from the terrace was also magical 💫 ➡️Read more at seretravel.com ➡️Or visit my profile on Instagram (@elena_dim_)

The hotel is perfectly located for tourists. The rooms are really nice and clean. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty and good choice of cold or hot, salty or sweet, healthy or unhealthy food. I really recommend this hotel. The hotel was overbooked and the reception offered us brand new apartment. It was like a dream.
