One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. We checked in on time. The room was not clean at all and the bathroom was very unhygienic. We wanted to take a shower but there were no shower towels in the bathroom and the room phone didn't work. So I went to the front desk reception to get towels but the lady at the front desk told me, "We're out of towels, you'll have to wait." I was like what!!! They run such a big hotel and they have no towels? The second day when we came to our room at night. I think someone would have entered in to our room without our permission. (We did not put "clean my room" tag as well on the door). Thanks to me I locked all my luggages before leaving my room. Lets talk aboot breakfast, in breakfast there are no options for vegetarians / vegans. You should eat only cold meals every day as we stayed for 3 days. I also asked a waitress or the restaurant staff if there were eggs or meat in the roasted vegetables but she said there were no eggs. Then we had our first bite ... She forced us to eat meat ... Will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Deserves zero star.

The hotel is quite satisfactory considering its purpose and categorization. The rooms are clean and tidy. We paid for breakfast, which is quite ok. The hotel is not far from the metro, and after that you can go wherever you want. Within the hotel there is also a cafe, a bar where you can dine or drink some beer or mulled wine, etc. The only complaint is that the waiters are neither very friendly nor fast. All in all, it's the hotel you stay in to tour touristic Prague. So don't expect anything spectacular, but it is not a hotel on the sea, and according to my experience, it fulfills that purpose.

Worst hotel I have ever visited so far. I havent expected to be a Hilton but should be better anyway. Breakfast was okay but the bathroom was horrible: low water pressure and the drain was also partially stuck. I had no time to complain about on the spot so tried to survive and leave as soon as possible. Local people laughted when they realized which hotel I am in.

I haven't set the bar too low since this is a 3 star hotel, but it's outright the worst hotel I've ever been to: horrible customer service, horrible WiFi, uncleaned and unhygienic rooms, the cleaning service almost never comes, broken telephone, no air con, the cards used for unlocking rooms just stop working, and much, much more. The food was fine, but there were near to none vegan/vegetarian options, I personally am not vegan nor vegetarian, but what about people who are? Also, may I mention the fact that if you make any noise after 9:30 PM that you have to pay a fine of 200€(~172£), and I mean any noise, which is ridiculous! Horrible hotel, will never come again.

Stayed there with my graduation class, very nice rooms, and breakfast was amazing. You have to specify vegetarian options at diner, and then we got something separate. I don’t know about the prices but the bar there war very cheap and the staff was so friendly. The two women were amazing!!

Don't stay here if you wish a relaxing stay! This hotel is used by daily changing school class trips, that visit each other's rooms night by night very loudly. Noise isolation is another problem: shower, toilet, TV, music, voices from all neighboring rooms are extremely disturbing. Doors do not close smoothly, but with loud bang, that let shake all neighboring doors as well. Windows do not close and the heating system was not in operation during the time of my stay (mid of April) so noise and cold from outside come through. Curtains do not make the room dark at night. The breakfast is just confirming the situation of having plenty school classes fighting for the limited juice or coffee equipments. To sum it up: location is nice at the forest border. Stuff is friendly. The food (lunch/dinner) in the terrace restaurant is good. But the atmosphere is killed by daily changing mass tourists and room standards that can't handle such noisy happenings.

This hotel is on the top of a hill, i would say. Once you get down at metro, you have to climb up the hill to reach hotel, just 7 min walking only, but its steepy. Most of the time u are tired and with luggage, might be disppointing...but once you reach, its a calm place. Breakfast is good. Though rush there, u will get all things on time. I appreciate that hard working young girls running at the breakfast counter.

Went here over agency on trip, never been in worst hotel, smell from bathroom on daily basis, shower broken, if ur lucky you will have hot water, only 3 sockets in whole room, non next to bed, beds are really uncomfortable could not rest properly, just spend nights spinning with back pain, healing for whole room is small radiator, with maids switch off when they clean and then you come to cold room, over all disaster, al tho location is with metro 20 min from city all together..poor choice of food for breakfast. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMANDING!

The rooms are equipped to the bare minimum. Telephone is not intended for calls -it’s just decoration. Likewise there is no hairdryer, shower head was broken, so you couldn’t manage the water flow. Another thing to add is that there are only 3 sockets in the entire hotel room which are also poorly placed.. none next to the beds. If you don’t have other options, this is of course better than camping:)) hope this honest review was helpful.

Nice hotel, good value for money, 10 min from city center by nearby metro, dirty towels with holes on it, tv with couple of czech channels, but the room is spacious with plenty of space and nice smell shower gel in the bathroom. Breakfast is a buffet with many choices. The staff, except at the reception, do not speak English.

The hotel is placed out of city center, in a calm neighbourhood, surrounded by buildings. There is a nice park behind the hotel and an outside terrace with tables. The metro station is nearby, and a supermarket also. Breakfast and dinner are simple with quite average taste. Rooms are clean, but furniture is outdated, 1980s vibe. There is no hairdryer or fridge in the room, but it's possibile to buy cold soft drinks at the reception or souvenir shop. Staff was kind and professional. It's possibile to exchange euros to czech crown at the reception, and it's really helpful! I stayed there during an organized trip with a group of my students but next time when visiting Prague by myself, I would't come back to this hotel. However, it's totally fine for big groups of students.

1 star because 0 is not possible. We had to call 20+ times for them to answer us the FIRST time and then they stopped taking our calls, directly hanging up the phone. Completely discourage people from going!!! Not professional at all and the receptionist who answered me the first (and only time) was rude too!

Pretty good hotel in Prague, the location makes this hotel a perfect choice to stay in Prague, just outside of the city center but away from the hustle and bustle, very easy ride with the metro to the city center (only 7 stops, approximately 15min ride), highly recommend.

Very big hotel, free parking and good communication with city centre (metro station Roztyly). Rooms are simple, clean but acoustic is on a low level. Breakfasts are available from 7am and there are lot of different food to choose. Good base to visit Prague.

It was clean everywhere, but the room that we got was crying for renovation. The bed was old and not very comfortable and the curtains were looking and smelling quite bad. We had a bathtub but there was no bathtub plug for the drain. The breakfast was nothing special, actually quite boring and standart. The hotel is situated to a great park and has a nice to it.

Enough for a one night stay. Very close to the metro station (line C), which takes you to the city centre (about 30 minutes). Breakfast are rather basic, but fair. Rooms would surely benefit from any kind of renovation.

Could be cleaner, breakfast management could be more professional as we waited 15min for food refill. Didn't really enjoy the stay. But receptionist was cool trying to help us and saved this place from two star rating.

Getting there from the metro was a nightmare walking through the woods in semi darkness Once there, I got a great room with a view of the city and had a nice meal in the restaurant I decided to get a taxi to the airport rather than the walk through the woods back to the metro, and then a bus, next day

Good price/value ratio. Clean rooms. Average breakfast. A little bit old hotel, maybe needs some restoration. Walking distance to metro station which you can reach heart of the city very easily and comfortably.

For the price of the hotel its a fine hotel. The room was clean. But it is very old-fashioned. The staff isn't very friendly. The restaurant next to the hotel is okay, not very special. Also, the staff is not very friendly here either. The food is fine for the price you pay. I recommend this hotel for city tripping, the metro is 10 minutes walking.

Nice buffet breakfast. Nice 4th floor Prague balcony view. Comfortable beds. Spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff

Good location in a quiet area with a surrounding park. The exterior of the building was welcoming and gave a good first impression. But the rooms were basic, with little or no decoration. I visited in winter, and despite the cold temperatures the room was warm. Bathroom was appealing. Beds are a bit stiff but I actually slept very well here. The receptionist was a bit slow and check in could have been more swiftly. Breakfast was boring with no fresh fruit and the orange juice was basically water with flavour in it. WiFi at the room comes at an extra charge, and it was slow. However, all in all, it is a decent hotel to stay at if you want peace and quiet after a long day in the city and want to spend money on other things than the place you sleep.

That was one of the worst hotels I"ve ever been. A relic of communism like many in Eastern Europe but only people from post comunistic countries will understand that. Staff was superb and very friendly, however the place in which the hotel is located is directly from 70' Dirty rooms with no airconditions. Fernitures and windows not renovated for last 50 years. This hotel is more museum than hotel. Additionally it is very loud because windows have no soundproofing. Please avoid booking rooms in this hotel. This hotel is fine for eastern Europe guests, but not for guests from civilized part of Europe.

Great hotel, just what you expect from the price. Easy connection to the center of Prague! Also i forgot my sweater and they sent it back to my house!

It is completely a big mistake to stay in that place. If you are not from the Czech Republic, hotel workers are very rude and racist. You can definitely feel the uncomfortable emotions on their faces.

Nice hotel with nice breakfast. Overall it’s very clean and everything you need is in the room. Very delicious restaurant (Koliba) is found right in front of the hotel. P.s. WiFi is free but sucks.

Basic 3-star hotel, but rooms are clean and staff is helpful. Breakfast is OK. Location is great, because there is a free parking and metro station is near. The only problem is the lack of proper soundproofing in the rooms. You can hear every tiny noise from the corridor or other rooms. It is loud enough to wake you up at night.

The hotel entrance is beautiful but the rooms are not the best the TV barely works and barely no outlets. The hotel restaurant is awful. The location was alright close to a metro station and that's it.

We knew it was a 3 star hotel and didn't have high expectations, but the hotel is really old, you can tell from the room furniture, windows, etc. Sound insulation is really bad, you can hear everything and everyone... The restaurant Terrassa was the most disappointing, the waiter was rude, unprofessional, the level of English was at the level of kindergarten... Breakfast was edible...

Me and my friend booked it for a few days,we knew it’s a 3 star hotel so we didn’t have too high of expectations but didn’t expect it to be this bad,our room looked like a bunker,no fridge or kettle or any facility available in the old rooms ,cleaning service barely ever comes and has to be requested multiple times ,location is near metro but you most go up and down a hill to get there

Traveling in Prague on Family trips is often hard especially if you came there by car and need not only a place to store it but also be near the metro in case you split up. (Free Parking near the hotel reserved specifically for hotel visitors). This hotel is located 3 minutes from a metro which can take you anywhere in Prague, near the hotel is a shopping center with food, shopping, and fun. The staff is nice and friendly they also speak Russian as well as Czech. One guy gave us his personal umbrella because it was raining outside which we returned later. The Furniture seems new and fresh while staying simple. No fridge, but a great breakfast hall and multiple restaurants within sneezing distance. With decent pricing and a great breakfast, eggs, boiled and softly fried. Cheese, Cereal for the kids (multiple kinds) Coffe machine, sausages, ham, sweet bread, and more, all available to you even 10 minutes before closing. The cleaning staff won't clean your room unless you hang up the sign which personally makes me feel safer and overall does a great job. Shower/bath complex with vents and nice big windows. Overall very happy with the service for the relatively low price.

We stayed in this hotel for six days, The rooms are old and dirty. Furnitures prehistoric, beds awful, old, dud and small. No fridge or kettle in rooms. The hotel far away from down center. The hotel staff is negative and unprofessional. Breakfast is not bad.

Very poor noise insulation. In addition, the beds and pillows are not the best, because they collapse. The bathroom smells like bleach, but at least you can hope it's clean. As a compensation, quite a good breakfast.

  • 4/5 Alex B. 1 year ago on Google
I guess we were lucky because our room was in the less traveled section of the building and we didn't hear these famous noises. But the room itself smelled like chlorine. I was afraid to take off my clothes and lay in bed. And the heating was very low. Almost freezing. Had to sleep in my clothes on and didn't take a shower (very risky). Overall, the hotel is like from 1980. Nothing has been updated since then. A relic of time.

Excellent place to stay 👌 breakfast is good , clean rooms , 20 min away from prague downtown. Outside is a restaurant bar where you can drink a couple beers at night.

  • 3/5 Nas M. 1 year ago on Google
Hotel is older, you can see it on carpets, windows frames etc, but rooms are clean, we had fridge and safe too, beds reasonably comfy. Breakfast was suprisingly good for the price, although saturday morning is obviously busiest time and with full capacity of canteen taken food was eaten faster than they can resupply. Big parking lot for free and 5 mins walk from metro (C line, Roztyly). Generally good value for money.

went here with the class. horrible experience we called the police. we went out to visit and our rooms were cleaned( we did not put please clean on the door). they stole a ring and all of the baggages were looked in(when we came back the clothes from the luggage were not how we left them). And they stole 1250euro.And we think that people come in at night /day without permission because the doors are not safe and you can easily open them. I do not recommend it at all. The rooms are not really clean and the workers are not nice and speak very bad English. We found two spiders in our room. And the color from the walls is falling of. Do not book a room here you can find better hotels with lower prices and better.

The room had a bad smell, especially in the morning. The carpet and walls looked very dirty. The bed are so old and actually the mattress lost its shape, but sheets were clean. It was really weird that we slept in a room that had an additional room (like two rooms in once) and that second room had a door to somewhere... so it was uncomfortable for me, because I thought someone could come into the room from that second door. Also, I noticed that someone came into the room while we were outside and it was a cleaning service that we haven't asked for (btw there is no locker where you can put your stuff). There is no fridge nor hair dryer. To sum it up, room looks like it is stucked in the period of comunism.
