Very bad untrusted , they sent me an email and a message in booking chat stating that I have to confirm my payment , then charged me for 190 although the booking was 90 only. I emailed them , their reply was it is a spam. How come to receive a spam from their email and the booking chat? It was not an external email or suspicious chat, totally untrusted . I cancelled my booking because I do not feel safe in such a place . Even before coming this is what happened , what would happen later after arriving ?

Very dated hotel, sadly no relation to the Savoy in London. Never a 5* more like 3*. The soup we had was good. Nachos were not. Breakfast was average. Pavel who checked us in seemed to do everything and there did not seem to be anyone else there. Expensive for what you got. The room was very clean.

It has spacious and quite rooms, big bathrooms as well. The heating system works very well so you get cozy immediately! At the end of the day, you can enjoy a bath in the hot tub or a dinner in the très chic library!

Nice hotel with a amazing breakfast. A main tram stop is just outside, which is brilliant. Breakfast was varied, lots to choose from. Building was nice and clean. Only gripe is that there is a door between the rooms next to you, meaning you can hear the neighbouring rooms talking if they're loud. One night a neighbour came in late and tried to use the door, waking us up which was a bit annoying

We were upgraded to the Royal Suite, must be around 100m2 of space, very nice as you can see in the pics. TV in the living area and separate bedroom. The Hotel has a real charme the reflects it's 1920s history. A good location, a 10min stroll down the hill to the Castle and half an hour down the hill to Charles Bridge. You can either walk back uphill or use the Tram line 22 which stops straight in front of the Hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend.

We stayed for two days, Hotel people are very helpfull, ready to hear us and support.Hospatility is good. Rooms are very clean, and arranged well. Most of the things for daily usage are arranged, what I feel missed is tooth paste and brush which normally receives at this class. There is also a Small kitchen with kettle, fridge and microwave oven, where you can prepare coffe and also warm food items. The breakfast is another point need to specify, its very delicious and variety of items.

Very comfortable and spacious room and bathroom, equipped of everything. The place is silent, next to Prague's Castle and well connected to city centre. Good and rich breakfast.

Excellent rooms (superior). Quiet area, 8 mins from the Castel. Kind and friendly personnel. Very good buffet breakfast. Relaxing stay. I will return for sure.

Room service could have been better, the cutlery were not cleaned properly. The door lock in toilet is not working properly. Breakfast was good and has great options.. Location is perfect and easily accessible by tram.

Lovely 4 star hotel just outside Prague Town. Tram stop just over the road from the hotel a ticket costs about £10 for 72 hours and you can use on tram metro bus train etc. Rooms are beautiful and cleaned daily. We had breakfast too which was lovely. Would recommend if you are in Prague.

Booked for a standard room, stayed for 4 nights in the suit room with a free update (perhaps booking.com genius award). Price was low, the room and the breakfast were excellent. Location was not in the middle of Prague, but tram is just in front of the door. It was well decorated and very clean. Definetly satisfied.

We stayed for four nights in September. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was wonderfully appointed, very comfortable beds and spacious. The bathroom was huge and we loved the walk in shower. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The hotel was lovely and quiet, we slept very well. We booked room only so I can't comment on the restaurant. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in Prague. The hotel is a bit old. You could also say it is charming. It might not be what you would consider a top notch 5* hotel, but from my point of view it is an amazing cost benefit hotel, that I would highly recommend. The location is perfect. You are in walking distance from the Karl’s Bridge (if you want to see an overcrowded place) and there is a tram right in front of the hotel, that will bring you into the city within minutes. Walking can be quite some challenge, if you don’t want to walk quite a steep hill. If you do, you will be rewarded with some fantastic places to see. The positive aspects of being “remote” are the prices around the hotel. The hotel also offers free parking and free breakfast. The latter is very good. Parking itself has quite some value in Prague. Consider each day around 30€. However, the parking garage is not for the faint at heat. I don’t know how you could ever park with a BMW 5 Series or larger in such a small space. I was very happy to have a small car. The service is very welcoming and warm. This is the place I would stay next time again.

Excellent hotel located close to the Castle, a tram station leading to downtown is located just in front of the main entrance. Not a fully fledged 55-star hotel, but has large bathroom, huge wardrobe, even an old fashioned radio. Spa space is also available (sauna and jacuzzi). Breakfast is good, but drinks are served by the personnel upon request.

Pretty nice hotel. Excelent breakfast, you can even take some national alcohol. Pretty close to city center, it is near to MFA. Very pleasant personel!

wow! One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to! Probably the best breakfast a hotel can offer! Nice service, spa area. Great time staying there.

We stayed 4 nights in the Junior Suite. It was the best hotel experience we ever had! All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was always perfectly clean and we really liked the big bathroom with lots of big mirrors :) Weekend Breakfast here is a huge buffett with everything the heart wants. Lots of fresh fruits, cakes, hot and cold food, sparkling wine with strawberries, good coffee.. The hotel is near the Prague castle, you can make all distances by walking. Thank you Savoy, we hope to come back very soon!!

Perfect! We were upgraded to the Ambassador Suite and the room was wonderful. The housekeeping team keeps the hotel immaculately clean, the staff are helpful and attentive and the breakfast buffet has an extensive offering and the kitchen team are constantly around refreshing everything. Lovely stay, thank you!

October 2022 review update: three years ago we've stayed here and loved it so much, we didn't even look for another option. Below this update you can read my review from October 2019. Apparently meanwhile there are new owners and some serious changes, specially about service level and amenities. The rooms, we took again the superior category, are grand and in great condition, we love the style and how spacious they are. The room was also this time spotless clean and pleasant. Problems are it's no longer 4 stars Hotel but rather 3 stars, no room service, no spa, etc. Worst change is the personal, reception and even more at breakfast. Breakfast was downgraded, I wouldn't recommend booking it included, but the attitude and service of the hostess is not acceptable. I had to ask again and again for them to refill empty dishes, we were always treated as if they are doing us a favour. At the reception they were at least friendly, but they cannot contribute more than the basics, at least the ones we've met. All in all it feels like the staff currently is inexperienced and not professional enough, besides cleaning staff that did a great job and was the most friendly and welcoming. October 2019 original review: Wow. We loved this hotel...we took the imperial room, which was stunning, tasteful and spacious. The SPA is small but the sauna is great. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room, with sky window. A wide selection of quality products, especially nice sweets selection. Friendly service. Location isn't ideal, if you walk it's at least 30+/-min walk to any central area. We took the car and parked in the city center... Reception was friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommended, will most likely return here, when in Prague again.
