Hoffmeister hotel; Quite unique by its design and location. I am always pleased with perfection and kindness of the staff. Very good food, good choice of wines, professional service. All is the result of the experienced management and on the floor, Mr. Tomáš Škubal the F&B manager is always very pleasant and makes one feel very welcomed. My recent stay at Hoffmeister with an old friend was a joy. Great place.

✔Good ubucation, good inclusive breakfast. ❌The bad: the rooms are very noisy, cars and trains from very early. The carpet in the rooms and armchairs dirty. -Nobody informs you that when you leave you need to pay "The city Tax" which is equivalent to €2 per night, per person. They could say that since the beginning in the hotel reservation. -Poor communication with hotel staff, staff expect you to speak their language and they speak little English. -The hotel in general is 3 stars, not 5 as advertised.

This hotel is not up to five star hotel standard used in any developed country (US, U.K., Germany, Italy and Japan). Room was very large and clean. However, have a very dated decor with very basic furniture and old carpet. Bathrooms are also a bit old. Reception area is very shabby so as you walk in you’re immediately as you expect something 5 stars. Constant noise from trams outside with not just noise but vibrations inside the room, how is one supposed to rest properly? Breakfast on the basic side with concentrated juice, lack of variety in fresh fruit and basic hot buffet. Spa area is a real disappointment, old and small, no real ambience of a spa. If you book massage they will not ask you for gender preference, then if you’re uncomfortable with the gender they assigned they will you charge a cancellation fee even if you rebook and reschedule- worst thing is they won’t tell you they’re charging you that fee until you check out. Night Shift receptionist even made a joke saying cancellation fee was cheap so I should just pay it which I think is an appropriate comment from someone working in what was supposed to be a top tier hotel. Overall I’m very disappointed and I can assure all of you that come from one of the countries above mentioned, this is the equivalente of a 3 star hotel back home. Other guests have confirmed this in their reviews.

Beautifull Hotel near prague Castle, the room we were in was the Junior suite in room 501 and was really huge, with a nice hot tub and a comfy bed. Unfortunately there was no real view to speak off, since we were in the top floor and windows to the tree side. There was also a towel heater in the bathroom, but it didnt seem to function, or i didnt know how to turn it on. Breakfast was great, with alot of variety. Although the coffee didnt really taste like coffee, and this comes from a guy who drinks latte machiatto. The spa area is also really nice. We went for an hour in the private jacuzzi in the basement. Which was a really nice addition to our trip. Unfortunately it is now by booking only. The last time i visited, it was still free. Nevertheless the price was ok and did not regret it. The spa and expedition lady at the frontdesk was also really helpful and gave us lots of tips on how to get around Prague. The restaurant was a hit and miss, literally. We had a half board with our hotel booking. So we had 2 diners with our 2 nights stay. Both diners were a bit a let down. On our first day, we had the ceasar salad, which was fine. Then came the main dish. For me it was the braised beef with dumplings. The beef was really dry and the dumplings were just ok-ish. The dessert was Creme Brulee, can't really go wrong here. The second day i had the smoked trout fillet. Although the flavour was good. Half of my trout fillets were filled with fishbones, which i believe should not happen with a fillet. The waiter also did not mention anything while picking up my plate and seeing the fishbones. As i'm not a person who likes to complain verbally, i did not say anything at that time. Besides this, my girlfriend asked for the ingredients of the soup of the day which was a "vegetable soup". They could not answer this question. This seemed very strange and unprofessional to me. After this there was a small accident that occured while the waiter was cleaning the table next to us. He spilled a big chunk of sauce on the floor, our table, the window and on my girlfriends pants. After this occured, another waiter came to clean up the floor, but didn't really seem to notice my girlfriend and what had happened on our table and did not seem to care. I understand that mistakes happen and plates occasionally fall on the floor. This is not the problem, but the way it was handled afterwards, was to my opinion not 5 star worthy. Lastly i found the service to feel a bit rushed. They wanted to have our full order from the start. After suggesting to choose the dessert later, the waiter told us, that he didnt know if he would have time later to take our order. Maybe a misstranslation, but it seemed very unfriendly. Overall my stay in the Hotel was still a solid 4*. But i would not recommend the half board after experiencing my diners here.

I recently stayed at a hotel located in the center of Prague and had a great experience. The location was very convenient, making it easy to explore the city. The personnel were polite and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague. Overall, it was a great stay and I would consider staying here again.

Wir denken immer wieder gern an unseren Urlaub in Prag zurück, was mitunter dem tollen Hotel zu verdanken ist, in dem wir untergebracht waren. Erstklassige Zimmerausstattung, perfekte Lage, super Service und das Restaurant sowohl in Hinblick auf das Frühstück als auch auf das Abendessen top! Einziges Manko, das aber die Gesamtwertung wenn nur minimal beeinflusst, ist die Umsetzung der Halbpension. Das Halbpensionsmenü beinhaltete 3 Gänge (jeweils 3 Optionen zur Wahl pro Gang). Alle Speisen waren auf absolutem 5-Sterne-Niveau, jedoch hat sich das Menü nach einem Aufenthalt von 10 Nächten kein einziges Mal geändert, wo leider die Abwechslung etwas auf der Strecke geblieben ist. Da wir die Halbpension im Voraus bezahlt haben und diese auch nicht in andere Leistungen im Hotel umwandeln konnten (z.B. Anwendungen im Spa-Bereich) waren wir an das Abendessen im Hotel gebunden und haben über 10 Tage häufig das Gleiche gegessen. Das tut dem Gesamtbild jedoch kaum was ab, daher 5 Sterne!

Kleines schönes Hotel mit großen, sehr sehr sauberen Zimmern. Die Lage ist top. Zum Zentrum braucht man nur 10 min zu Fuß. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen Kurztrip nach Prag.

The place to be!! For our visit to Prague we chose this place. And it turned out to be an excellent location to explore the city! Our room gave direct access to the lovely garden. Couldn’t think of a better place!!

For a long time we could not find a restaurant where we could celebrate our wedding. Many restaurants were too expensive + you had to pay for each child as an adult. Then we contacted these hotels. We were answered by the hotel manager Ivana, in correspondence we were offered several types of menus, budget average and top, we could choose according to our budget. We met with Ivana, it was very pleasant meeting, we discussed everything, they gave us a wine tasting, they told us what exactly would be on the menu and what time hot dishes would be served, etc. Ivana was super nice and polite. On the day of the wedding, there was another manager, also very pleasant, who said that if you have any questions, please let me know. The waiters were polite and kind. The food was delicious, the service from the restaurant is top, the managers are top. We are very satisfied. The hotel has a beautiful garden which is great for people who have children. 100% satisfied with restaurants and service. If you are looking for a restaurant where you would like to celebrate something, I 100% recommend houfpmaster hotel.

Manage your expectations if staying in this hotel. It does not live up to the commitments on its website. At best it deserves 3 stars. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel.

Hosted a two day company offsite at the Hotel Hoffmeister and everything was flawless. Ivana and her team did an exceptional job coordinating our event, ensuring we had everything we needed and checking in multiple times over the course of the event. The catered lunches were delicious and served in the main restaurant buffet style. While the room set up was a little unusual, it worked perfectly for our event. Every member of the team was incredibly attentive and ensured we had a really enjoyable time. The location of the property can't be beat, given it's proximity to the castle, metro, rail lines, etc. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Hotel has the standards set straight, I have been already to quiet few hotels within the same price range but this one was the best so far. With great friendly personal,clean rooms,working wifi,amazing spa and the breakfasts and dinners were also really great.

Great location, nice rooms. There was a cool jacuzzi in the room. Cleaning was good. Friendly staff. The hotel is not for a 5 star hotel actually, but quite good for vacation. Wouldn't recommend to book room with meals for all day, just breakfast will be best.

Was a lovely hotel, very good location as it’s quick and easy to get into the Old Town and Mala strana. I like the old fashioned decor personally and enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub. Breakfast was nice and simple, we asked a lovely colleague called Robert if we could have something slightly different from what was offered and he accommodated! He even asked us the following day remembering our specifications, excellent hospitality.

Don't trust that what you book is available! I booked a room at this hotel online in June with 2 twin beds. They emailed me that they didn't have a room with 2 twin beds and that the only room they had was one with 1 double bed. I called the hotel to explain that 1 double bed was not going to work for me and asked them to cancel the reservation. Two days later I was informed that they considered me a No-Show and I was being charged the full amount of $230. I contacted them to tell them it was their fault and that I shouldn't be charged but they were unwilling to refund my money.

Absolutely an excellent hotel, super location for transports (metro and bus nearby), comfortable bed and huge bathroom with shower and a large spa bath , excellent cleaning, great breakfast where the coffee is also very good. Only a big drawback: they forgot us at the airport upon our arrival, in the middle of the night, despite having confirmed us the transfer by mail (..nobody answered at the phone at night) and, even worse, pretended nothing had happened, without apologies; to our complaints the answer "I will speak with the manager to offer you the transfer back at the hotel expenses" and then the last event: the transfer driver charged us for the ride because the hotel offered anything!!. Without words. 5 star, sure?

Faultless from start to finish. The private spa facilities were to die for, with a medieval style steam room, private sauna complete with ambient music and gorgeous lighting and the Roman bath. Breakfast was plentiful and wonderful to suit all tastes every morning and despite being busy the hotel felt at peace all of the time. The rooms were spacious, the garden was restful and the dining experience topped it off perfectly. The most important aspect was the friendly and helpful staff. Everyone we met was charming and polite. Wholeheartedly recommend and would absolutely return when we visit Prague again. Photos do not do this hotel justice.

Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The connecting rooms were excellent. Food was also very good and well presented. Hotel was warm and lovely heated floor in the bathroom. The Spa treatment we had was marvellous, one of the best treatments I have had anywhere. One small thing omitted was a shower cap in the bathroom. Overall my stay was very enjoyable. Would be happy to stay again.

The check-in was fast,smooth but the receptionist was a bit unfriendly. I soon discovered that this is normal in Prague. Had an amazing room,very clean,with huge bathroom and minibar. Breakfast was just ok as it didn't look very clean but had a nice terrace. We had a coffee in one of the days and when the waiter brought them out came with the bill.We asked if he could put it on the room and he said it would be easier if we pay,tried to pay by card-again,same answer-it would be easier if we pay by cash.Not sure for whom it was easier,certainly not for us. All in all a nice hotel but the staff could do better.

Experience the spa here: a steam room in a natural cave! Unforgettable, especially when followed by a long soak in the Roman bath. Do yourself a favor and book a few hours here, it will absolutely make your stay in Prague!

Perfect position,just outside the busy city centre but 10 minutes away from all the main attractions. Super kind staff and very cozy and clean structure.

I had a problem with reserving a spa treatment, however Ivana Michalova, the CEO reached out to me to help, after conversing with her via emails and phone conversations, she promised me that everything will be ready and she tried to accommodate all of my requests, when I arrived at the date, Everything was beyond perfection, the massage was incredible, the jacuzzi was fantastic, I even tried their restaurant which was superb, I want to thank Ivana again for he r help, and I highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed here for 2 nights in April 2022. Very friendly staffs. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walking distance to underground station and tram stop. Very convenient location.

The restaurant: First of all I want to thank the chef and the service specially maxim! When you come in you will have an amazing experience that you will never forget. The service was at his best coming to your place to check on you, if you need something. The food recommendation of the service was exactly what you wanted and if you don’t know what you want, they will help to find something special for you. The food can’t be described it was wonderful. From the main dish to the dessert it was amazing. I recommend everyone to try this place out if your in Prag. Hotel Hoffmeister far exceeded my expectations. Love the rooms - best location , wonderful tasty breakfast and super friendly and efficient staff. I had some personal issues - nothing to do with the hotel - and they were most accommodating to ensure that these issues were taken care off - even after my return to the USA - they did go well above and beyond with helping me - this I am forever grateful. I will definitely return, should I plan a future trip to Prague.
