Fantastic hotel, we genuinely loved staying in this hotel. We upgraded and chose a river view room, and it was definitely worth it. The location of the hotel is perfect. We felt like we were right in the the middle of everything. Every area was easy to get to, and it's less than a 2 min walk to Charles bridge. The breakfast every morning was brilliant, loads of choice, even for me, as a fussy eater (special mention to Mary in the breakfast room, such a lovely friendly girl, always with a smile) the reception staff were great, really helpful. Room was clean, well equipped with a big TV, but I spent most of my time looking at the view! Big thanks to the hotel for providing breakfast for us on our last day as we were on a very early flight, couldn't fault anything, I'd be happy to stay in the charles bridge palace again.

A wonderful hotel with a Louis XV charm, very friendly staff, and an excellent location. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of hot and cold choices, a great start to your day. In my 4 visits this is easily my favourite hotel, and the one I will come back to my next visit.

our room was above the groundfloor which houses a pub/disco. the noise from this discothek is so loud that a normal conversation is not possible. i tried using earblocks to see if i could sleep, but no chance, the noise was so loud we could even hear it with ear protection. the floor of our appartment was literally vibrating from the pumping bass sound directly underneath us. after complaining we where moved to a tiny room with it's windows directly in front of the elevator in the main hallway. needless to say it was impossible to open the curtains, as guests where looking directly into the room every other minute. besides all that, no covid protection was made. staff wheren't using masks, the breakfaqst room was filled to capacity, it was frightening. 4 stars? what a joke. stay away in any event!

Terrible management for a hotel at with a great location and large clean rooms. We had booked 3 rooms for 6 nights. We had booked them through an agency and upon arrival we were notified that there was a double booked room that we had requested. They said it wasn't our fault , but the agency's , they changed our rooms then, practically down grading us for what we had payed. Couple of days later they notified us that they had to change our rooms again at 9 pm "IMMEDIATELY" , as they stated. That prompted us to check-in with our agency and verify that everything was payed and booked accordingly. Confronting them with that information and asking them for the payments and requests they received for our rooms they started to ramble and try to offer us an upgrade. It was just a very big inconvenience for a place that could be so much more. I would also like to note that I spotted at least 2 more people at the reception area arguing about similar booking issues, it seems to be a common practice of this establishment to double / wrong book which causes frustration.

We stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful hotel. We were in suite 403, there were 2 bathrooms, a lounge with sofa, desk and ornate chairs, wardrobe, tv and unit. Stairs led up to the bedroom and second bathroom. The bedding was crisp and white and the towels were white and fluffy. The reception staff were always happy to help- I had forgotten my plug adaptor and they lent me one. Breakfast was delicious with a large choice of food. Staff replenished continuously. The waiting staff worked so hard but were always happy and smiling. The hotel is a few minutes away from Charles Bridge so perfectly situated. I would thoroughly recommend The Charles Bridge Palace

Relatively big rooms, though split over 2 levels makes them smaller, especially the dorm room. 2 bathrooms are an advantage sometimes. The cleanness was not spotless, the big panoramic windows and the covers were pretty dirty and dusty. The location is great to have alway one foot in the city center and one in the hotel, especially during the more wet season of autumn, as sometimes it comes handy to change clothes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was decent, but did not excell, as some of the foods were tasteless (cucumbers and pickles). I guess it depends on the season. A car parking is optional and pretty expensive, but it is in line with the public parkings. No surprises there. All in all decent 4 stars.

We loved our five night stay at this hotel. Rooms were spacious, clean as well as the bathroom. Perfect location to take the trams 17, 18 and 2 and very close to the Charles Bridge. The breakfast had great variety of food every morning. Breakfast is included with room reservation. Last but not least, the staff. We cannot thank them enough for all their kindness in all the services and information they provided to us. We booked the night cruise with dinner and a trip to Cesky Krumlov through them. Night dinner cruise is a rip off. Cannot recommend it. I’ll write a review of it later

Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a great view of the river. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They assisted us with booking a local tour that included walking, lunch and a boat cruise. They also assisted us with booking a taxi. The hotel location is near to nearly all the city attractions.

This hotel was perfect. Nice clean linen and towels. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. The room we stayed in was very spacious. Nice view from the window. The front desk staff were super nice and helpful. It was not a luxury hotel, but everything about it was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was much better than our expectation. All in all a great place to stay.

It's a trap for tourists. Front rooms with the river view (In front of them there is a night club that closes at 5 am, very noisy and you will not be able to sleep). The back rooms are facing ( a building under restoration) You will not be able to sleep from 8 am to 9 pm.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. The staff was friendly and helpful and we got the room we requested, a large, suite (sitting room/bedroom) with a great view of the river...HOWEVER....the bed had a very old spring mattress, it was truly uncomfortable. The couch in the sitting room was a pull out bed, also old with the springs making it very uncomfortable. Had these furnishings been a bit updated I would've given the room 4 stars. Also, the wifi is terrible.

Really lovely hotel. Buffet breakfast was really good and they change it up. I noticed there were complaints about the noise. We did experience this on the first night we stayed which was a Sunday. After that, it was quiet and no more drunken yelling and doors slamming constantly throughout the night. I guess if you want a quiet place, stay here during the week. If you're here on a weekend and don't mind yelling and noise until 3am then book the hotel... if not then book something further away from Charles Bridge. Reception was wonderful and they referred us to a wonderful place for dinner on our first night. No complaints from us. Our rooms had 2 bathrooms and were 2 floors. The windows are operated with the black switches. Since we got here in the evening, the rooms were semi dark and we didn't see the switches with arrows until the morning and then we could close the "hatches".

Very close to a bunch of cool stuff - that's the highlight. Fancy looking, and perfectly acceptable rooms, but walls are a bit thin, the lock mechanism is a bit fiddly, and the bed isn't incredible. Took about 20 minutes to go through the check in process. The buffet breakfast wasn't cheap, but was a huge spread of options and was very nice. I got it for 15% off - if it was full price I'd probably say swap to a backpackers and spend the extra money elsewhere, but if you can get it on special, worth it.

I totally recommend this hotel! - Location: all of Prague’s main tourist attractions are within walking distance. - Staff: extremely professional English-speaking staff. Some of them even spoke Spanish and Italian. - Rooms: spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. - Breakfast: several food options. Good taste. The building’s old theme makes it very special. Definitely would come back here.

Wonderful stay! The location was amazing and the rooms were nice but most of all, Philip at the front desk made our stay even more enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, patient and available for us whenever we needed anything. Thank you for a great stay, would definitely recommend.

Very nice, spacious hotel room. Bathroom with all you need, could have been slightly more light in the bathroom. Varied and cozy breakfast and very helpful staff. Very central location. Would stay again.

Hotel is in perfect location, just 5 min. walking distance from old town. Hotel itself is old, but very interestung. Inside you can see painting on the walls, furniture from middle ages and etc. Only one thing what was not very nice - the lady working at the reception, but let say - that day wasn't her's...

Was extremely happy with the stay here in Jan 2023. It had a real old-timey atmosphere. Check in and check out was easy. Everything was provided as advertised. The breakfasts were good. And the location was ideal

Great old fashioned hotel in a fantastic location, staff are very friendly and welcoming, the winding streets of Prague can be daunting, you have to be aware of your surroundings 🤔 always remember a landmark to help you get there and back .A huge thank you to Reception manager Philip who went above and beyond to clear the mix up with the taxi company that was taking us to the airport,we had requested a 15:30 pick up as we were flying out at 19:05 but,had to check out of hotel at 11:00 so,we had a few more hours to spend in this beautiful city but, they were adamant that they had the correct time of pick up and turned up at 12:00 but,we were out and about spending the last few hours of our time in the town but, after several phone calls whereupon there was a language problem even for the manager, Philip decided that he would arrange a taxi from the hotel to the airport and for us to produce a receipt to the company already booked in advance back home, thanks again Philip and thank you Prague 🇨🇿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍

As awesome the location was and the rooms and service were great, the fact that it is in a crowded downtown meant their booking service did not have wiggle room. The front desk was very strict on every single matter from checking all the way to check out. Going by the book for every requirement. I guess it comes with the territory. Over all I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to all.

The hotel is practically perfect for families: 1. Great and spacious rooms. 2. Wonderful and kind service (for Israelis -you can even receive help in Hebrew!). 3. The location is amazing. Everything is within walking distance. We spent here seven nights, and everything about the hotel was great. Highly recommended!

Good location, very good service, nice rooms. Breakfast was ok, better than average. Only negative is due to the good location. You can hear local idiots revving their motorbikes while driving along nearby busy road during the night.

This is a beautiful , spotlessly clean place to stay. Great location for walking into old town, along the river for boat trips or trams, friendly and polite staff , helpful with everything. A very traditional hotel with old castle style interior, wonderfully varied breakfast , sparkling bathroom with all amenities. Large bedroom made it a pleasure staying there.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Charles Bridge Palace Hotel, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of historic Prague, this hotel offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and Old World charm. First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. The Charles Bridge is just steps away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city's most iconic landmarks on foot. Waking up to the view of the Vltava River and the Charles Bridge from my window was a memory I will cherish forever. The staff at the hotel were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. They were always eager to assist with any questions or requests I had, whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local restaurants, or providing insights into the city's history. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and impeccably clean. The attention to detail in the room's design, with its classic furnishings and modern amenities, made for a comfortable and inviting stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. In summary, my stay at the Charles Bridge Palace Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of its prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable rooms made my trip to Prague truly memorable. I can't wait to return and stay here again on my next visit to this beautiful city. Highly recommended!

One of Pinelli Hotels in Prague, probably the one with the better location. Indeed, location just by itself deserves 5 stars: really a few steps from Charles bridge. But the rest deserve an applause too: owners took a destroyed ancient building & turned it into a fascinating, elegant hotel. Not even two rooms are the same. Two lifts, several staircases, a great breakfast offer. Eccellent service. Quite difficult parking but in this post covid time managers offer free parking in another location,a few tens of metres away.

I think it's a pretty good hotel for a 4 star. The rooms are vintage yet homey. The people are very kind and the food is not the best but good. Its very close to the major attractions which is very helpful for people who prefer travelling on foot.

Wonderful hotel, lovely helpful staff, beautiful old style Italian decor. Breakfast selection was fantastic, something for everyone.

The hotel deserves 4.5 to 5 stars. Reach the hotel by car is a bit tricky because of the turn around due the one way roads. It would be helpful to get some signs on the near roads because even Google maps had few problems. Rooms are really big, comfortable and very clean. Only the power plugs are too less. So bring from home a multiple power plug. Only one side bed has the power plug, the other side not. Then looking around, another one in the bathroom. There are other 2 but busy because of the TV and minibar. Service is really good, available at any time. Breakfast is amazing, really many choices. Position is super comfortable.

Great location and price! The room was a big strangely arranged: the door nearly hit the bed edge, and the bathroom and front door were at opposing angles, and the windows led to the hall so a lot of light came through.. There was valet parking but the times for checkout were not ideal since there was only one person for all the vehicles. Decent breakfast buffet and friendly desk staff!

One of the best place to stay in prague. The locality is very near to tourist places. just 100m from charles bridge. Rooms very clean and luxury. Breakfast was another best thing. Parking was coordinated well.

The location is great. Ideal location. Breakfast is good. Of course, the building is not new one. If you can accept the building, which is historical one then I can recommend this hotel.

Great stay ! The staff are amazing, especially at the dining area, with a superb breakfast with many options to choose from. The room was very nice, with everything that's needed there, comfortable pillows. The only minus was the location of the room as the windows were looking into the inner yard thus almost no sunlight. Would definitely stay again in the hotel but in a different room.

We stayed 7 nights. The Hotel is great and very clean. Central and you have everything close. Great breakfast and lovely staff. Regarding the staff, a big thanks to Mary. Every morning, this kind waitress helped us for information and everything and she really exceeded our expectations for kindness and professionalism making our staying a memorable experience. I recommend this Hotel to everyone Thanks a lot Antonio Tommarelli

This hotel has the best location. Walking distance to Charles bridge, old town square etc all best fractions of Prague yet quiet. The staff are all very friendly from front desk, cleaning ladies, breakfast room staff. I specially remembered Mary from breakfast room. She is so nice with a warm smile on her face. The breakfast is very delicious as well.

Beautiful Place, rooms clean and bigger than other places in Prague. Staff nice and professional, and breakfast was always a great choices between typical dishes and international food.. but homemade cake was a must!staff always smiling, and location close to bridge amazing!

Overall a perfect location for tourists in Praha. The reception staff was excellent, and very helpful and friendly. The room was (too?) big, and had all the things you need. Breakfast was good, but I do prefer boiled eggs to be served hot, and not cold. Minor complaint about the old style keys, of which you only got one, and had to hand it in to the reception every time you went outside.

  • 5/5 Ashwini P R. 2 years ago on Google
It’s a beautiful bridge but most of the time crowded .. it’s better if people go in the early morning for less crowd.. evenings the view look picturesque with lightings .. None the less 5 star it is 😊

  • 5/5 Daniel Y. 1 year ago on Google
Whole Prague trip was magical and this hotel was an important part of it. Location is just superb, right in the middle of all the attractions. Breakfast was outstanding with different menu items every day. Staff was extremely nice and all our special requests were met. Had a riverside view room which in fact had a great view (you never know). The tower building on the right was under construction though, covered up with blue mesh, so it was not exactly postcard material, but it could be without it and will be once construction is over. If you plan on opening the windows at night, be aware that there is a beer restaurant on the ground floor and you can hear drunk people yelling all night. But hey, it is all part of Prague heritage (-: Planning on coming back one day for sure.
