The service is very bad. We asked for a room with a double bed. We got single beds. They told us to come to the reception tomorrow. We will change you to another room with a double bed. The receptionist said there is no such thing. You can't sleep in a room with a view. I don't recommend coming to this hotel at all. It's a shame that it's rated five stars. It's 3 stars, no more.

This place was amazing as they allowed us to hangout and leave our luggage at the front desk while we explored around. We weren't able to check in early because we arrived in Prague around 8am. When we entered our room is was very spacious and old looking but in the admiring way. The bathroom was big as the bathtub. The bed was comfy and the windows opened. There is no AC as many previous stated and they do give you a little fan to keep "cool". Towards the night they knock on your door and give you chocolates before you go to bed. The hotel is literally in the middle of everything so you can explore and then go back and take a nap. I would recommend this place.

I have been 6 times in Prague, every time in a different hotel/location. The location of this hotel is good, But: The hotel shouldn't be 5 starts, I have been to 2-3 starts hotels which were much better. Really bad service while the rooms look really old, the Hot water didn't work for 3 evenings, and sometimes there was brown water coming out (picture attached) the reception promised to fix it but they didn't manage. In addition, the room window was on someone else balcony. Look for any other hotel, and I promise you, that it will be better.

Rooms are nice and big but they lack the attention to detail that a 5-star should have as there's many scuff marks on the wall and there's not even a kettle in the room. A big plus is jetted tub though although it's a bit small for two people. Breakfast is nice but again it's not 5-star quality and there's not even table service. Overall good location as you're just a few steps away from the metro and the main attractions.

OK, in life the hotel is better than on photos. Good size of the rooms, big and clean bathrooms. I found the mattress firm but comfortable.. Pillows a bit too high. Many facilities rich breakfast. Perfect location. Overall I would gladly come back. Now the bad - staff. Called ahead to check if the have free parking spaces. They confirm and give me special price by phone with parking included. I travel 3 hours, arrive and they say there is no room for me, don't know who answered the phone 3 hours ago. I show their phone number on my phone and the 3 minute conversation. She says she just came 1 hour ago at work and has no idea who spoke with me. At the end she found both room and parking spot, but at a higher price then agreed by phone and also higher than on booking. Com.. So I do feel tricked.. Receptionist did not care about this situation, did not apologize.. I get it's a big hotel, but it gets let down by the staff at reception.

Waiters are pressing clients on terrace for paying a tip. And when it's ''not enough'' they mention this to you. Also they try to force you to pay in € instead of CZK (I didn't let them), probably because of a very unfavorable exchange-rate. Unprecedentedly brutal.

This hotel in Prague's city center was a complete disappointment. The room was outdated, noisy, and uncomfortable. The staff's indifference and lackluster customer service didn't help. Breakfast was subpar. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Beautiful room and spacious, just a little bit old. The location was perfect! Near to public transport and located in the most exciting place. The bathroom is big and spacious. Hope the hotel could improve the design and maintaining the hotel to make it look more brand new. However, the receptionist lady today 30 October 2023 at 11.30am were a little rude to us during checking out, had a language issue and disrespectful of tones.

Totally unacceptable service! My wife and I recently stayed at Ambassador Zlata Husa in Prague for three nights, paying approximately €700. Our experience took an unfortunate turn when we encountered an issue with the hotel's porter, Michal. Despite the hotel providing a free luggage service, Mikael insisted on receiving cash, going as far as to question my lack of money, making the interaction uncomfortable. During the incident, the porter, Mikael, explicitly stated, "This is part of my salary; this is how I get paid. How do you not have money?” Upon reporting the incident to David, the Division Manager, the response was disappointing. David defended the porter's actions, offering a feeble excuse about potential misunderstandings. Even after this, Mikael continued to roam the hotel as if nothing had happened, smiling without any repercussions. This lack of accountability from both the porter and the management is unacceptable. We are disheartened by the dismissive response and cannot recommend this hotel to others. We intend to file a complaint with booking.com to bring attention to this unfortunate experience. Other people complaint for the same issue, check the reviews in my last pictures.

I stayed in this hotel for one day. And it was the worst day. It felt like a motel. I was supposed to stay for 3, but canceled due to the poor customer service in the lobby to the poor and DIRTY room. We changed our room because we had blood and dirty stains all over the sheets and pillows. Drawers wet broken. Lights weren’t working. Floor rugs ripped with holes. Curtains with stains. Bathroom mirror lights broken. Cigarette stains on carpet. Hallways all smell like im in the kitchen not in a hotel. When I had breakfast the fruit was rotten it was all poor!! It was 0 ZERO hygiene! I don’t recommend at all. I rather sleep in my car than in that hotel. It is not!! ITS NOT 5 STAR! It should be 2 star with all these poor management of staff and atmosphere.

Nice hotel with old charm..location is perfect..right in the middle of wenceslas square. The town center is at walking distance. During Christmas one of the Christmas market is right outside the hotel. The street is buzzing with Christmas cheer and decor along with singers singing on the street. Many restaurants & shopping options nearby. The room is clean and spacious with the same old charm decor. The bathroom has bathtub with jacuzzi as well as shower. The staff was helpful. Request for room with the view of the main street with giant Christmas tree. They serve scrumptious breakfast. They also offer good exchange rates better (and safer) than unknown vendors. They have vintage elevator as well. We stayed here for 5 days, they offered us rooms change on request on arrival. The tram station is also nearby. Supermarket is right across the street.

Personally, this hotel doesn’t deserve 5 stars. The water came out from message bathtub was cloudy with suspended pieces. There was a fly in my room. I paid the porter €5.5 for 3 luggages. He was mad with me. Location and breakfast were good, but service and equipment were disappointing.

My uncle and aunt stayed at this hotel for a few days this winter and wondered if it was really meant to have 5 stars to begin with… awful personnel, insanely overpriced basic services (30€ for a cup of tea???) and rooms with temperature below zero with no heating on. A lot to work on to say the least…

If I could I would give this review zero star. Extremely unhygienic. Stains on the bed and floors. Smelly hallways. No parking, has a garage but took them forever to take the car. Extremely bad customer service. Food was unclean. Some lights did not work in the room. To end, do not book.

The first impression of the hotel was bad. It was not possible to cancel the booking. The hotel did not respond to questions in Booking. Parking is present, but for 15 cars and there are almost 300 rooms! So the hotel said we had to look for parking on our own what was stressful for us and ruined the trip. Breakfast was ordinary, coffee tasteless. The room was ok. When we checked out, we were made to pay for goods from the minibar, which we didn't even eat! This is terrible. I would not want to return to this hotel. It was my birthday and the hotel gave me a bottle of champagne for two glasses, which by my standards is very poor from a five-star hotel. The only plus of the hotel is the location. This hotel deserves only 4 stars (and maybe it's a lot). Also the hotel didn't provide free water in the room which shows bad service and proves that 5 stars is too much.

It's an awful place with the most disrespectiful service, we had so many problems with the parking and the room service, the food is poor and so awful and the room they gave us is so tight and ugly The city is beautiful but this hotel isn't and don't deserve to be rated five stars

The walk from the 25€-hotel parking into the building itself leads through a very unpleasant hallway. It seems dirty and like the backroom door of an old pub. We had to wait for about half an hour until our check-in was processed. The room (suite) was ok in size, enough space for the kids and us. The carpet was very dirty and not pleasant at all, with textile fibres coming off. The curtains were dirty, the bathroom door didn´t close at all, we had to call the house technician, he instantly came and "fixed" the door, but it was still too loud at night when one of us had to use the bathroom, and everyone was awake because it closed too loudly. The wardrobe door didn´t stay closed as well, the windows are "open" even though they are technically closed, they were just old and broken. You were able to hear everything from the street and follow people´s conversations, even though we were on the third floor. The tap in the bathroom sink only stopped running if you pushed down really, really hard, our daughter wasn´t able to perform this act. Breakfast. No Espresso. We were asking for Espresso, and the lady in black, who was "in charge" just pointed to a caraffe and said: Here´s the coffee. Espresso? No. There was a coffee machine with different types of coffee, but it just said "out of order". We figured, someone would repair it until tomorrow. Nope. Nobody repaired it for four days (weekdays). Why does the big, broken coffee machine sit there? We don´t know. So you only get very poor "cafe Americano". The fruit was obviously rotten (pineapple), there were a few people not doing their job right. The person who baught the fruit, the one who cut it and the one who carried it out to the breakfast buffet. The waiters were obviously told to take every plate away from the eating people, even though there is still food on it. Really, I am sitting at my breakfast, eating off my plate, the waitress literally comes and takes it. With food on it. Unbelievable. There are five people taking plates. You could easily get this job done by less people, save money and energy and provide decent coffee and fresh food instead. Also, the lady in the black suit did rolleyes in front of the other guests when she had to remove dirty table cloths. She whispered with other employees and the friendly, older man who "welcomes" the guests to the breakfast, about us and about other guests which is just unprofessional and absolutely not necessary, it´s unfriendly and makes us feel uncomfortable and unwanted. The waiters and the lady in the black suit just wipe crumbs and dirt off the table cloths onto the carpet and chairs, so you are very likely to sit on a very dirty chair for your breakfast. The chairs, by the way, are sticky and not clean at all. Honestly, for a five star hotel this is not even ok. You pay a lot of money, and for us it should have been an exceptional experience which we very rarely provide ourselves on vacation. But this was just frustrating. We also didn´t have enough toilet paper, and it´s pretty uncomfortable to make your guests ask for some. I just took two rolls off the cleaning cart when I saw it. Absolutely never again. The only thing that was very good was the location directly in the centre of Prague. Perfect for getting to and from sights. Poor performance from the hotel, sadly.

Never stay at this hotel. It is not 5 star maybe 2 stars. Check in takes 30 min. Room frozen, Elevator to be waited for 10 min. Breakfast poor with 2 mt queue for coffee. Cheating with welcome drink half glass, see the picture. Only the location nothing more 🥶

The location is fantastic, in the heart of the city with many restaurants and shops in the vicinity. The National Museum is walking distance and so are the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Paris Street. The hotel and rooms have an old world charm, and very beautiful. However, the arrangement of the beds and furniture made the room a bit congested in some areas. The shower cubicle is very small, but thankfully there is a bath tub. The worst part of the hotel is the breakfast which is absolutely terrible. No variety whatsoever and lacking in taste.

Very good hotel beautiful and comfortable rooms the price is fair for the quality, but the breakfast was modest despite the fact that the cappuccino cost separately for breakfast, it's a shame! .even in a four-star hotel, cappuccino for tomorrow is served free of charge, and you also need to be careful as the reception staff may try to deceive you. .after payment, we were asked to separately take a reserve for the bar in the room of 100 euros, but of course we refused to pay, saying that we would not use the bar, in response we were asked for at least 50 euros for a deposit, but we explained once again that we would not .to use the bar service in the room, there was a feeling that they wanted to deceive us by asking for money, how can you first ask for one amount and then another, well, we are not trading at the bazaar and given that it was not officially spelled out that a deposit for a bar is required ..but in general a very good hotel but a maximum of four stars.

Some days we were only provided two towels for a family for four. At certain nights it can get hot in the bedroom since ac is only in the living room. Maybe better to provide an electric fan during the hot days

It's a lousy hotel. Employees are disrespectful. There is no one at the reception. They don't answer phone calls. there is no parking.

Great location, but…. The room and the bathroom are quite dirty and stinky, the pillows are very uncomfortable and there are no other pillow options available. No room service after 12 pm and the lobby bar closes super early. Defo not a 5 star experience though a price is quite affordable, I’d say it’s a 3 star-ish option.

I am a bit generous here. The hotel is nice and the room was very good. Breakfast good maybe lacking some imagination but overall value for money . Reserved a parking spot for my car upon arrival none was provided. The order had been misplaced despite having received a confirmation. The staff did not really help us solve the situation until the rather straightforward dayreceptionist arrived, but by then it was time to check out. Hotel staff overall not so helpful or friendly . I really think the hotel need to work on this to give the customers a better solution. One small example is that no one actually said welcome when we arrived. I think this is maybe a core thing you learn in the service business. Everything with the hotel feel dated and belonging to a hidden era where service was not granted .

Excellent services with experienced staff at high level (rarely today). From Sales director, through receptionist, bartender at bar, waiters at breakfast, repairman to nice cleaner ladies. Nice hotel near historical center of Prague. This was booked for my sister´s family with almost 2 years old daughter as pre-Xmass gift. There was available the children bed also. They are excited about staying in this hotel. THANK YOU again;)
