I booked double room for single occupancy (on booking.com). When I entered the room, only one side of the bed was made. I asked at the reception if I could get an extra pillow since pillows were very flat and not offering support. The male receptionist told me I have to pay for the extra pillow. I told him I payed for a double, not single room and I would expect the full bed is made. He stepped outside of the reception cabin and approached me very closely like he wasn't to hit me. He was pushing me towards the exit with his body. He was screaming at me and told me to leave the hotel immediately. Stay away from this hotel!

As a local I stayed once for the experience. I was not disappointed, it is indeed like a trip to the socialist times. The highlights were super narrow beds and rather short blankets (I am a 180 cm guy). I was recommended not to order the breakfast, which tells you something. I would honestly stay here only if you get a really good deal and desperately need a place to crash or if you want to see what accommodation looked like when this country was still called Socialist Czechoslovakia.

A great choice if you want to visit Prague and don't want to pay too much. Order breakfast, you won't regret it, it is delicious, although you have to get there between 7-7.30 am to get the most out of it. Trams take you everywhere in the city, the beds are comfortable, there's an elevator, but AC is missing. The receptionist speaks English. Parking is limited, and there's a market in front of the hotel every Tuesday and Saturday.

Wonderful hotel in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The receptionist that was there when we checked in was very helpful and friendly. The tram stops just 50 meters from the hotel and takes you downtown in no time. All in all a very pleasant experience staying here and I highly recommend it.

Fan in a bathroom and a kettle were present - that's cool. Located near the tram stop. Receptionist lady was rude and arrogant, seems that we disturbed her to smoke a cigarette. She counted 155€ instead 145€ for our stay, strange hotel politics. Breakfast awful, food was so poor quality that couldn't be worse: cheapest sausages made from salt and paper, even rotten pineapple was served. Mattress was uncomfortable too.

Rooms were basic with no tea and coffee or spoons even though there was a kettle. No spare pillows, two single beds despite booking double not twin. Fridge didn't work and unable to use sink to brush teeth as when switched on there was a strong egg smell. Very hard beds and thin duvet. Shower was either hot or cold no inbetween. Large window dangerous for kids on 3rd floor. Note in room saying new bedding and towels would be given every 4 days unless paid extra, which i thought was awful as most hotels will give you towels on request. Breakfast was not English style as stated but hot dogs and stale bread. Our neighbours upon leaving had been charged €50 eye is because their baby had split food in the bed sheets. The reason from hotel was " we can't let room out because we Have to clean it " which makes me think our bedding wasn't clean before we arrived. When the questioned it the staff said " your not in England now you must pay or you can't leave " This must of been frightening dis the young couple and baby. Overall would not stay here in a million years. Only decent part was the wifi.

Staff was rude and dismissive, and not very helpful at all. The man running the front desk was incredibly disdainful and acted like us checking in and out was??? A huge deal for him?? Just, a massive amount of work that we were forcing onto him, and it was our fault for it??? I literally never give negative reviews, but my first experience with him just colored the whole tone for the hotel for me, and when I got up to the rooms, my opinion fell even lower. When we exited the elevator, the hallway to our rooms was poorly lit and very eerie feeling. With the single key we were given, we opened the door and went inside. Cleaning staff looked as if they had done what they could, but there was a black something growing in the ceiling corner of the bathroom, and the beds were rock hard. The breakfast was nice, and the lady that helped me there was wonderfully kind, but that's about the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel. Its located quite close to a tram station, which is nice, though it is about a 20 minute ride into the center of town. This was the only place available when we were booking our trip, and I can see why. Definitely will not be returning.

Comfortable, basic rooms. No fridge or hairdryer in the room. No complimentary tea or coffee. Bathroom very basic but does its job for such a price. Very, very thin walls ,if you have trouble sleeping, don't book this hotel. We could hear our neighbours snoring all night long.. Horrible. Also something like an alarm went off in middle of the night, unsure if in hotel or outside ,but it didn't shut up for over an hour.. Good link to city centre. Just take tram 22.

Clean, well equipped rooms. We stayed in the family suite (2 adjoining rooms both en-suite) which was very spacious and a great place for family stays. Good location - close to the tram stop. Easy to get to from the airport, with free parking outside. Breakfast was very nice, with both a hot and cold buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Prague.

Not sure this hotel qualifies for 3 stars. Room was clean, but overall the hotel feels like a trip to the socialist 80’s. Maintenance and refurbishment are sorely needed. Breakfast was a disappointment, had we stayed for longer, the coffee shop at the corner would be a clear choice for a coffee that is actually drinkable. Mars is fine if you just need a place to crash for a night but don’t expect more.
