Was not really good experience for me. I stayed her for 4 days which costed me 300 euros which is pretty good deal according to the location. My rating is only for breakfast and location of hotel. For hotel I will not give even more then 2 stars. Bathroom didn't had lock, no hot water in taps until I asked them. My room was not cleaned even after I hanged clean my room tag outside door. Bathroom ventilator was not working really well, we were able to smell the oder in main room. But location of hotel made my trip better.

It has a great location, it is near everything it is also located near the city square which holds the world"s oldest clock. If you like old buildings there are plenty of 200+ year old buildings like churches castles and houses i would recommend staying here the only negative things about this hotel is their food is bad. But over all it is very nice

The pros: The greatest asset of the hotel is without a doubt the location which makes all the most important sights within a comfortable walking distance. The receptionist lady was very nice as well, she communicates well in a number of languages and thanks to her was possible to leave the bags in the hotel until we caught our train back. On the contrary to some experience expressed here, the rooms, albeit basic, were clean, and so where the sheets and towels. The cons: As already mentioned, the walls are thin which makes it very easy to hear the neighbours when they attend the bathroom in the night. Moreover, the double bed means really two single beds situated next to each other and the pillows very flat. The breakfast was okay but it would benefit a lot from the possibility of toasting your bread. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a shorter (one- or two-night stay) stay to save time on the commute to the city centre. For a longer visit to Prague, perhaps a more comfortable place within the same price range, but at the cost of being further away from the city centre would be worth considering.

the hotel's only advantage is its good location. the room we received was very small. there was no air conditioning and if the window was open it was very noisy. the bathroom is renovated and clean. Itt more like a hostel than a hotel.

This hotel has a perfect location as it is placed directly in the center of Prague nearby one of the busiest squares. Also, the price for the location is great and very affordable. Another good thing is that this hotel has very often room available even in the middle of the tourist season and very often you get the room without booking, just as you walk in from the street. On the other hand, the rooms are nothing special. Not bad, clean but it is just an average standard. And also the breakfast is not very good. For the city like Prague, breakfast is really miserable and way under the standards. So if you are looking for quick accommodation in the centre of Prague go for it. If you want quality and romantic settings, looks somewhere else.

The hotel is in a perfect location, next to all the attractions and close to public transport. Clean bathroom. No fridge no drinking water in the rooms. The breakfast buffet very good. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms and it is difficult to sleep when the weather is hot. There is a weak fan in the room that does nothing but move the warm air. The staff was ok and check in and check out was quite smooth.

The hotel is perfectly located within a few minutes from the main square. The room looks good, and our bathroom was completely renovated. It is quiet, however you will hear your neighbors for sure when they walk by your room, because the doors are not sealed properly. The breakfast was ok, but do not expect fireworks. ;) Please note that even if the "booking" shows that the rooms have a "city view" you can get the one with a view at courtyard, as we've got, however it was not so bad considering that the rooms, with a view to the street, were under the sun all day long.

We got a room where you had to go through a labyrint to find it, the lock System was ín a real bad condition and the carpet was really dirty in the corridors. Our room did not have a bigger lamp, we got a standing lamp which was broken, so we used the 2 tiny lamps to see, and the carpet was dirty here too. The restroom was really fine and clean, only the door was a bad point. The view from the balcony was good, and the bed was comfy enough. It is in a great place, not too noisy, and a little bit outer center. We did not were ín the room much so that's why the 4 star, if you follow our Example, than it is a great hotel to stay.

This hotel does not have mini fridge in the room & AC. That being said, it is really clean and breakfast is quite good. Bathroom is new, water pressure is great and you have unlimited hot water. Location is 10/10, you are literally in city centre. Everyday they give you fresh towels and new toilet paper. If you coming at winter (which I recommend) room is really well heated. So if you wanna stay on the budget and never use public transportation, be in the warm and clean bed, I highly recommend this hotel.

Due to a serious medical condition in the family we could not travel, and I canceled the flight. I closed in the hotel for 5 nights, surprisingly my mother-in-law entered a critical condition in the hospital, fighting for her life at this moment. I notified the hotel as soon as I knew the day before arrival. They did not agree to give me a full or even partial refund, I informed them in advance. In the email, the admissions representative was angry why I didn't notify a week in advance and maybe they would have helped. It's a shame that there is no basic understanding of extraordinary human situations. No humanity. I will not book a hotel in this place. (What's more, they didn't give me back even a part of the money!)

it was ok. our room was clean and cute and thats it. we heard almost everything from the outside, radiator worked way too good (it was turned off, but it was super warm in our room). breakfast was edible, nothing special but also not bad. I forgot my keycard in the room and got a new one after they checked my identity at the reception (super easy, thanks again).

It is an old hotel with a creaky floors, not the coziest one, but for a couple night stand is absolutely bearable. The room was clean and bathroom were clean, we had cleans sheets and towels and this already makes you happy, because when I read reviews I expected this to be worse.

  • 4/5 Sneha Sharma P. 1 year ago on Google
It was okay not bad I would say, cause of it's location! Right in the front of the city center, where you get Trams& buses leaves you in front of the hotel ! Which is perfect! Also there's a mall right next to the Hotel.

  • 5/5 Daniel T. 9 months ago on Google
Great location of the hotel! All the historical places are on a walking distance. There's two shopping malls just 50 meters from the hotel. Public transport is at the same distance. The rooms are clean, but there's NO air-conditioning!!! The staff is very helpful.

  • 2/5 Anna B. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel has a great location, but pretty much everything else wasn't great. The rooms were dusty and the windows didn't close properly. The radiator was broken, but it warmed up the room. No lock on the bathroom and the spyhon was leaking. There were bed bugs and there were barely any power outlets. The breakfast was edible, but nothing more than that. Our 4 bedroom room was pretty crammed and had a view at an alley with rubbish bins.

Stayed here for two nights over a weekend. The location is unparalleled: just a couple blocks away from the best parts of the city. The accommodations are great for budget travellers and very clean if a little spartan. Beds are stiff but not the worst. My first night there a horrible fight broke out in my floor and the walls are so thin I could hear everything. Elevator was down, but the stops were in the middle of staircases, so if you can't do stairs, even a functioning elevator here is pointless. The breakfast was pretty good and had a solid variety. Wish they had eggs, though. The taxi deal the hotel offers to get you to and from the airport is actually more expensive than calling an Uber, just be warned. Overall, this place provided exactly what I needed: an inexpensive and clean place to sleep and wash up while I stayed in Prague. It's a step above a hostel, and right on par with a Motel 6 for Americans.

Worst hotel experience in my life. The receiptionist is super helpless and rude. The room given to us in the summer is hot like hell with no air conditioning. The elevator goes up to 4th floor but our room is on 5th floor so we have to carry our heavy luggages by ourselves. In the end, we just had to check out as the temperature was unbearable. Do not recommend this hotel especially because of the helpless receiptionist.

It's a proper hotel, old building but with a good service, an awesome breakfast 🥞🍳 with a large variety of meals, near to old town and just 5 min from a big shopping Center and Tramway 🚡 station. Ii highly recommend this hotel. By the way i watched our national team game 🇲🇦vs 🇧🇪 in the World Cup in this hotel.

Noisy old hotel. Very basic. Walls are thin, nightclub in front of hotel, neighbours were drunk and loud all night. Did not sleep, hotel did not care. Breakfast average

  • 2/5 Jordana T. 8 months ago on Google
Negative: The breakfast is not good, small space and not so clean, rooms quite simple with bad beds, old hotel. Positive: good location

  • 3/5 Gábor S. 5 months ago on Google
Well, the pictures was well made on the page, but not so nice in fact. The floor originally was made of wood and they put a rug on them. It's like walking on marsh. The bathroom was new, but the door was dirty and the door handle almost felt apart. The bathroom was not ergonomically planned. During using the toilet your feet were in the shower :D The breakfast is correct. Not the best I saw but it was the best thing in the hotel overall.

  • 3/5 Garik Y. 7 months ago on Google
Terrible Wifi. Breakfast is good. Life is not very comfortable. It stops between floors, and you should go up or down by stairs. Rooms are small, but the ceiling is enough high to fill comfortable.

  • 4/5 Ákos B. 7 months ago on Google
Nice budget hotel, with a great location. Full of drunk youngsters during night, someone even tried to enter our room multiple times, because they were so drunk, they tought it was their's. Rooms were clean and we got great service. Breakfast was a bit crowded, we could not sit down for a bit. Overall it was fine considering the price, but nothing special.

The reception staff it's good, but the room it's poor. The breakfast is very poor not suitable for everyone. Location it's very good.

The most important think to be able to do in a hotel is sleep. The family room we had was a sweat box. I was going for cold showers thought night to cool down, so not much sleep for my family.

I tested positive during my stay at Hotel City Centre, and the hotel staff was extremely accommodating of this. They were flexible with me adding and removing days to my stay and also dropped food that I ordered at my door. The rooms were also clean and the hotel's location is very convenient. Thank you to the front desk for all the help!

There was broken fan in the room when reported given a small tiny fan which was of no use. We visited in June and it was really hot. The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable.wifi is very poor and most of the time did not work. Except the location nothing is good about the hotel.

The best about this hotel is location. 9mn from Orloj. Otherwise nothing. We were with small kid and a buggy, they gave us room on 6th floor, with complicated way to reach the room. Elevator going only to 4th floor. During night very noisy guests, hard to sleep. We couldn't park our car in their parking, so we played 60 euros more for other parking! Definitely not coming back.

This is not a 3 stars hotel. I've booked 2 nights and arrived in the evening. First they sent me to the wrong room. The elevator only arrives on the half floor, so you have to carry the suitcase in an unheated dark stairwell.  then you have to go through a labirint corridor, where you can hear everything in the rooms and have to use the card to open some of the corridors - and actually struggle with the old door handles - so it was quite a journey to go to room, back to the reception and up again to the right room. The room wasn't clean and had a terrible smell. The Furniture is old and broken, as well as the shower head. the women in the reception didn't seem to care. I asked to cancel the second night. First she told me I can't, then she talked to the manager and in the morning the new receptionist told me I can have a partial refund. She gave me a document in Czech, saying it's the refund, but I was charged with the full booking amount. When I contacted agoda customer service, the hotel refused to refund the second night.

A very nice hotel in the center of Prague. A great starting point for trips around Prague. From this place, it is close to everything and you do not need to use public transport, although there is a tram stop next to it, close to the metro and bus stop. Delicious breakfasts, everyone will find something for themselves and you won't be hungry. Also in a very short distance there are shops, ATMs, an exchange office, full of atmospheric restaurants and a shopping mall. The hotel itself has its own Czech atmosphere. Even when there was a small fault with the door, the lady from the reception handled it perfectly, efficiently and quickly🙂 Thank you, we will remember the time spent in this hotel and we will definitely return there👋😊

It's affordable and good value for your money. All the major tourist destinations are on walking distance. Staff is very supportive ❤️ Give it a try.

People like to complain. I conclude this by staying here even after reading the terrible reviews. The hotel is VERY GOOD for the price. I paid €36 for a couple, with a decent breakfast, good bathroom, small but decent bedroom, excelent location, good service and treatment (if you're looking for cuddling in a hotel you need either a 10 times higher budget or a psychiatrist). The part that can improve is the check out a bit early, 11am and also the weak wifi. But it DOES work. I really recommend it given the above information.

Breakfast is good. Location is great, close to the old town and Vlatava. It's 3 bridges away from Karluv most/ Charles Bridge. 1 minute walk from Namesti Republiky, which is a metro station as well on line B (yellow). There' a penny market shop opposite, which is opening until 22.00 and there' s a big shopping mall 50 méteres from the hotel. 2 tram stops are nearby.

Hotel near the centre. Its enough to get some sleep and get into the city real fast. The staff was nice and the rooms are what you would expect from 3 stars in the Czech Republic I assume.

Hotel room was more than cozy. It had hot water all the time during our stay! The breakfast was perfect! They had everything. It served between 7 and 10 in 2nd floor so you have view from the windows! The location is also perfect! You can go everywhere on foot! Definitely worth the stay!

Very clean room, staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, everything is close walking distance. Next to shopping center, so we could get food, drinks, do some shopping. Breakfast was very good. Baggage storage after we checked out was great, so we could walk around the city before our train left in the afternoon

  • 4/5 Sofía G. 5 months ago on Google • 1 review
I loved the location of the hotel, it is at 11 minutes walk from the center. Also, there are a lot of stores nearby and a mall in case you would like to do some shopping. The service was really nice, I arrived early in the morning before the check in, and they allowed me to put my baggage in the storage unit. The room is small, but at the same time if you’re traveling alone, or just plan to sleep and not be at the hotel most of the time, it does not matter. The key room and the lock seemed old, it took a while before the door opened. Also, it is noisy at times because you can listen to other guests through the walls. The breakfast had multiple options, I really liked it. Overall a great experience.
