My recent stay at the Mandarin Oriental hotel was nothing short of exceptional, providing a true 5-star experience that surpassed my expectations in every way. The standout feature was undoubtedly the friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The hotel rooms were not only aesthetically pleasing but also maintained a pristine level of cleanliness that is often hard to find. Notably, the crib set up exceeded our expectations – a refreshing departure from other luxury establishments where cribs cleanliness often fall short. The crib was not only spotless but also accompanied by crisp and soft sheets and a brand-new baby toy showcasing a thoughtful consideration for guests with young children. The hotel's dedication to family comfort extended beyond the crib, providing baby toiletries from the Manufaktura brand and a non-slip rubber pad for bathing little ones. Slippers for the entire family, including our 5-year-old, and a kid-sized bathrobe were delightful additions that demonstrated a commitment to catering to guests of all ages. The welcome gift was also a delightful surprise, featuring cold beer, plate of chocolates, and macaroons. This gesture resonated with our entire family, especially our 5-year-old, who thoroughly enjoyed the treats. The inclusion of Diptyque toiletries in the bathroom added a touch of luxury, and the conveniently-sized hand lotions proved to be a thoughtful amenity, particularly in the cold and dry weather. The hotel's prime location was another highlight, situated within a 5-minute stroll to the iconic Charles Bridge and just 3 minutes to the John Lennon Wall. Easily walkable to Old Town (15-20 minutes). The surrounding area felt safe, with convenient tram options nearby. The crowning jewel of our stay was the daily breakfast at the Michelin-rated Spices Restaurant, where the culinary offerings were nothing short of fantastic. In summary, this hotel deserves every bit of its 5-star rating – a testament to its meticulous attention to detail, friendly staff, pristine rooms, and overall commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.

Clean, peaceful hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Prague. Service was accomodating; we were able to switch from a King bed room to twin beds when requesting the change at check-in. The room itself was spacious and had a picturesque view of the garden. Housekeeping was very detail-oriented and service from the concierge was warm and welcoming. After seeing my DSLR camera, one of them eagerly recommended the best photo spots in the city, marking them down on a physical map that he then handed over. The food at the Spices Restaurant was delicious, but they didn't serve as many Asian dishes as we were hoping, despite being a restaurant serving Asian cuisine. We did, though, have the best club sandwich we've ever eaten. There were no Asian dishes at all for breakfast. My one suggestion would be to incorporate some Asian options, like congee or vegetable stir-fry, to the breakfast menu.

This is by far one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and is superb in every way. The location is just a few minutes from the famous bridge and old town with east access to trams and some close by metro stations. You are welcomed immediately by very friendly staff who make the check in process pleasant. The hotel is a former a monastery and has amazing architecture with some rooms even featuring the original ceiling! The rooms are very large and very comfortable overall. You have a wardrobe to hang your clothes as well as a very nice dresser and large desk. The bed is very comfortable, didn’t want to get out of it! The bathroom is very nice with a large bathtub/shower and heated towel rack. It also had a double sink as well. The gym was very nice with a great selection of free weights and a cable machine for a variety of exercises. The breakfast here is delicious and features both hot options as well as a buffet of cold selections. I was surprised with some sweets in my room as well I arrived! I would definitely come back here again for business or leisure.

Staff is very kind and accommodating but there were just too many issues. Heated floor in bathroom was stuck on. It’s summer. The one outlet in the bath room (Shaver only) blew a fuse with the hotel blow dryer. My partner couldn’t use the it to get ready. The restaurant and bar are closed unless you sit outside. Pop up bar outside only

We had a fabulous time at the MO in Prague on Friday to celebrate our anniversary. It is our first time at a MO hotel and we would certainly recommend it again. Gorgeous hotel in one of Prague's most beautiful, historic and quiet areas. The grounds and the rooms are beautiful, sparkling clean and elegant. The service is top notch and you can feel that this hotel has a service culture embedded in the staff. We didn't use the spa as we had only one night and wanted to chill out a bit and go out for dinner. Pros: Beautiful Rooms. Very comfortable bed. The room felt very secluded and serene. Personally, I prefer rooms with both a bath and shower and not just a bath as taking a shower in a bath isn't that convenient. Staff service (though see cons) Breakfast was very tasty and great selection Additionally, I find the 'Fans of MO' a brilliant concept. Just sign up and choose whatever 2 benefits you want for your stay rather than the usual working up the ladder of statuses to earn benefits. Cons: - The check-in process is over the top. Too long and too formal. I get that it's a top hotel but there was no need to repeat all the details of the booking, my personal details etc. My experience in other 5 stars hotels is that handing over the keys to the guest is the priority and there is no need to verify all the details again if the guest submitted everything online and you collect a copy of their passport to very the guest ID. We felt a bit exhausted at the end of check-in and it could all take a lot less time. Also, when we checked out, a very grumpy receptionist 'demanded' that my wife's CZ driver's license which was copied during check-in wasn't considered a formal ID and that she need another form of ID. We explained that we don't have any and that during check-in, her colleague took a copy of the driving license as he also thought that is sufficient. I must say she was not nice at all and her attitude does not match the one of any other staff member we met during our stay. She eventually 'agreed' to let us show her a copy of my wife's passport she had on her phone. I know this is a 'police requirement' but there is no need to be nasty about it. And if the guest doesn't have another ID, what can we do? Get arrested at the hotel?? - Breakfast needs a lot more staff. we waited 20 minutes TWICE to get our coffee during breakfast. The staff all seem to work hard so it's not their fault. Management is clearly working them to the bone and not adding enough waiting staff. Our waitress was visibly 'falling off her feet'. Add more staff! No one should wait so long for food and drinks in the morning. It's not a great start to the day. - It is very disappointing to find that MO, as in other cities 5-star hotels do not offer much of wellness facilities for guests unless they pay extra for it. There were no common grounds offered to the guests. It is pretty common to have a pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room at hotels, especially luxury ones. We wanted to use the whirlpool and steam room but it can only be booked privately for about 45 EUR per 30 min per facility so to use both (steam and jacuzzi) for 1 hour (well, in and out), you are looking at nearly 200 EUR. We found it quite steep for something that is available in most top hotels for free. I must admit that the private 'vitality bath' does look nicer than a public jacuzzi once it's set up with rose petals and all but again, such private service should be offered in parallel to a 'public' option for all guests. Overall, we loved our stay and will look to come back but the above is my feedback in case other may benefit from this.

Great hotel with close distance to almost everywhere in town. Very responsive service is a plus (calling for additional amenities and they arrived in 2 minutes). In room dining was also great but the selection for breakfast was a little bit limited, guests also don't receive a la carte menu nor was it presented on the table, hotel should consider improve this. Also amenities fixed on the wall look like a bit cheap as in a express business hotel.

My stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Prague was absolutely spectacular. The reception was amazing, with staff that greeted us warmly and provided exceptional service throughout our visit. The hotel's ideal location near the Old Town made exploring the city a breeze. I wouldn't change a thing about the dining experience; the food was on point and exceeded all expectations. Overall, everything was perfect at Mandarin Oriental, Prague. Highly recommended!

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. We loved the quiet and historical neighborhood and the beautifully restored building. But the staff makes this place truly magnificent. Michel and Tomas were especially attentive in making our stay so special, but every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and all around amazing.

This unique hotel, set in a former monastery is truly an gem, with beautiful rooms and exceptional service. The front desk staff was absolutely fantastic, giving us a warm welcome and attending to our every need. The Concierge gave us some great dinner recommendations as well as perfect suggestions for our exploration of the City. The location is also perfect - we were just a few short blocks from St. Nicholas church and the famous bridge. If you want something unique and upscale, I recommend staying here - and the staff will make it all worth your while.

Amazing, exceeds all expectations in terms of service. I was significantly delayed arriving and mentioned during my check-in email that I hope the bar will be open because I’ll need a beer. Guess what? They left beer on ice in my room just in case. Natalia arranged all this - she deserves significant praise for going above and beyond. Stay here - you won’t regret it.

We had a beautiful room with ample space and a terrace. The breakfast buffet had excellent food and all warm dishes were served fresh. We enjoyed an amazing most relaxing couples massage at the connected spa.

My favorite hotel in Prague. My stay from start to finish was perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. One of the most friendly hotel staff that I have ever encountered. An overall great stay, one of the best that I have had.

The hotel style and decoration is very poor. This is not at all a luxury feeling. It rather looks like a hotel you would stop by on the road. Same applies to the breakfast. The only reason why I give 2 stars and not one is the professionalism of the staff and especially Iryna. (reservation name Varnier)

An absolutely exceptional stay. Welcomed with drinks, hot towels and a wonderful run down of Prague by Michel. Breakfast was perfect and the staff throughout the hotel were lovely. Room service and housekeeping with turn down service was just what we needed after exploring the city. The location made it even better. Thank you Mandarin Hotel!

Staff was great. Breakfast buffet superb. Our suite was nice and light. I recommend bc you have a quiet refuge when in bustling Prague. It’s also in a lovely area.

From the Reception you already feel, hear, see,.. The quintessence of the hospitality business. No wonder this absolutely is no brainer option for many people on the reviews. I miss the same level of professionalism in other hotels. I must say a special Thank You to Sáňka which has accomadated a request absolutely beyond her scope, perceptive, smart and witty.

My new favorite hotel! Florian was so kind, helpful and so welcoming I can’t say enough good things about him and how nice everyone was to us. Thomas was also so helpful the entire time. Fabulous atmosphere, wonderful rooms and excellent location. The view of the castle was such a fun perk! The spa was the perfect relaxing end to our great trip. I absolutely recommend this hotel 100%.

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Mandarin Oriental in Prague. Staff could not have been more accommodating, they really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. A particular thank you to Alexandra Maffini and Eric Gervy. We will definitely be back.

Service is designed to be good. However, there are flaws. 🧖‍♀️ Arranged a spa appointment in an hour, in about 20 min they started calling non stop to the room to say that my appointment got canceled and someone else got the slot. While I was just sitting at the hotel bar, they preferred to disturb the room. 🅿️ The driveway is extremely narrow. Our car has low skirts and we managed to scratch the car while getting into the hotel. 💰At the checkout we saw some extra charges, just 20€ extra, but still unpleasant. 🏰 The hotel looks dated: the elevator has scratches all around, the overall space needs renovation to be one of the two most expensive hotels in Prague. 🥗 Restaurant was more like just a lobby bar, the food was tasty, but lacked the usual Mandarin Oriental creativity.

Gorgeous hotel. Rooms spacious and totally quiet. The perfect location to walk all over Prague. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar. The breakfast is incredible! Kudos to Kristin and Yulia!! Housekeeping staff are excellent and very hard workers. We arranged transportation through the hotel and got picked up at the airport. Then same returning. Our driver Tony was great! Before arrival, Andrei helped us with many things including sites to get covid testing done and the transportation. Michael and Jan at the front desk/lobby area were very helpful every single day. We stayed one week. Can't wait to return!

It was our second time staying here. The location was perfect, walking distance to many sites. The staff was amazing and first class all the way. We made arrangements in advance for the hotel van to pick us up at the airport upon arrival and for departure. My son was greeted with his own bathrobe, book, crayons, stuffy. He absolutely loved this hotel. Highly recommend for families. Can’t wait to go back.

A brilliant hotel all thanks to the wonderful people that lead it. Florien / Flo is a great host at the Front Desk Team. Flo understands hospitality. Very unique setting in a old monastery One of the best I’ve stayed in. We’ll be back!

The hotel itself is great but the staff makes it memorable. Gian Marco and everyone else made it such a great stay after AMEX travel messed up our booking they were so helpful and nice with that and everything else. Gave us macaroons and champagne as a gift for our honeymoon (such a nice thing to do) the room with a terrace to the garden was amazing. Breakfast was also very very good, specially pastries and crispy bacon. We would love to come back!

Good and chilling hotel, really friendly personnel, good suite. But the only one thing they have to upgrade is the wifi speed. 4-5 mbps is so low nowadays, especially when every hotels and bars around has about 100 mbps (I have checked).

Watch out for internal (second) door, on the ground floor. When you stand/walk aside - it does not open automatically (it only open when you are standing/walking in the center or close to the center, from the inside). At least until last week or last week - in my case. I broke my nose there last Sunday - I reported it to the hospital and to the hotel and other institutions. I was only occasional guest. Elsewhere the (mechanised) doors always opened automatically for me, even when I walked form the side. Regards.

Wonderful, welcoming hotel in the beautiful city of Prague… Easy walking distance to most of the sites. Wonderful staff, very helpful when my husband had minor injury during our stay. We certainly hope to return again soon!

The Mandarin Oriental Prague is the perfect getaway in this charming city. It is an oasis of tranquility, professional and mindful service, fine dining and perfection in every way. The property itself is spacious, luxurious and very close to all major attractions. From the moment you step inside the hotel you are immediately greeted and taken care of by the wonderful and attentive staff. The room was spotless, quiet, the mattress and pillows incredible comfortable. The Housekeeping did an amazing job with special attention to details like neatly organizing my charging cables. The breakfast and dinner offered anything you could think of (and more) and the team did everything to delight me in every way. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience. You made me feel at home, even when being far away from it.

Manager on the front desk is into making people feel small. Whether it’s they’re staff or guests. Shocking. Plenty of dodgy occurrences during my stay.
