Even though they say check in is until 8pm, actually the reception is open until 5pm. After 5pm they would leave the keys at a local fast food shop which typically closes between 8pm and 10pm. I am not sure if that should be called "check in until 8pm". It was impossible to check in later. My flight was later so I had to book another hotel. Tip -- if the check in is absolutely impossible after a certain time, please put more effort into highlighting it in the description. 5pm is absolutely too early for the check in deadline, so is 8pm.

I have really good experience with this hostel. Lady in reception was really nice. Our room (room for 2) was clean and quite big. I consider good location the most important thing.

They are fake. They try to be nice to you when you have an issue, but once they have taken your money they will never answer you back. We have tried to contact them several times but we have been totally ignored. At least an answer would have been nice. They will never answer. Be careful with them!

The room was okay, but the service was unacceptable. There were no one at the reception so they left my keys at kebab place. I had to do all my check in and check out by myself. They didn't pick up my calls or didn't reply my messages. Also it wasn't very clean unfortunately.

Very nice staff and service, the receptionist is friendly and take you personally to your room, it was already her lunch time and she was leaving but she opened it again for us when she saw us coming out of elevator. There's a kitchen very well equipped where you can cook and store your food in the fridge. The rooms aren't anyhow special but for some days it's more than enough, it requires some maintenance and same for the bathroom in level 4, other bathrooms were looking more modern.

Perfect quiet hostel! Amazingly good location, everything is nearby. The staff are so lovely! Very friendly and polite and happy to chat if you like but also happy to let you do your own thing. The rooms are clean and the shared spaces are well kept. No late night party-goers or loud people. Everyone is very respectful. Towels available, sheets included, curtains on beds and plenty of storage space. Smooth check in and check out, would definitely stay again.

Amazing location and great stay for the price. Bunk beds were sturdy and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I’d say the only downsides are that there wasn’t a plug or light next to my bed, and the communal bathrooms were very humid and so it had an odour (not because it was dirty). That being said though, I would stay here again- really can’t beat the price & location!

There wasn't anyone at the reception until 2 pm due to illness, which is fine of course, but that wasn't communicated to us in any way. No one at the reception means no one could open the front door for us and we were stranded outside with all of our luggage. The hostel itself was fine. The common room was comfy! Upstairs, where the rooms were, there was also a kitchen and a bathroom. Both just fine, really nothing special. The beds weren't great. Mattress was thin so when laying on the bed you could very clearly feel the metal bedframe which was very uncomfortable.

How can someone have the audacity to rent a place like this ? First, the toilets are shared and this is not mentionned when you reserve your room. The moisture is on absolutely EVERY wall, everyone of them. The toilets and bathroom, apart from being absolutely disgusting, shared with everyone, full of hairs and traces, are broken from every parts possible. There is no bathroom rug, no hand towel so the floor is of course full of water and hairs and hasn't been clean in the 3 days of our stay. The towels they give you are in pieces. The walls in the bedroom are brown from dust and durty stuffs. The beds are full of body hairs and traces of fluids, just as the floor. The trash in the room has never been cleaned. Of course, the inside of the bedroom room smells also terrible.

My 3 days in thr hostel have been a good experience but in overall I was annoyed by some things: there was not much soap in the bathroom and also they were not that clean. Most importantly, I could not sleep due to people not respecting the quiet hours.

Good hostel... can be a little difficult to locate as it's on the 3rd floor with just 1 sign outside. Not much in terms of communal areas or many showers or toilets. But didn't seem to much of an issue during my stay. Fabulous location for old town and the bridge. Took about 20 minutes walk to from the station.

Terrible hostel!! The photos do not match the reality! Dirty, mixed bathroom, you enter and there are men and women togheter, I did not feel safe and comfortable with that. The woman at the reception was not kind, the 4-bed room for women was very small, in a corridor near the kitchen, which is located in in front of the bathroom! Don't waste your money staying in this horrible hostel!!As you can see in the photos!!!

It was a great stay during the hostel !! I enjoyed the location and made many friends over here . Receptionist is quite friendly and helps you anytime you ask.The hostel has kitchen where free ingredients like salt sugar and sauces are kept with clean dishes . It was worth the price.

Clean hostel with comfortable beds. Great location adjacent to the Old Town Square. Not many communal areas and not recommended for socializing though.

Amazing location, in the center of the old town, walking distance to everything (to the castle, to the central square etc). The rooms were very warm all day, despite the cold weather. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we also had some tee time before we left in the leaving area. Overall a lovely experience!

Convenient location in the city center, nice view. But the furniture is slightly scratched. The carpet has a stain.

Great location..rooms on the 4th and 5th floor are not the best..they are smelly. However, I got a room my last night on the 3rd floor and it was another story. There s no receptionist in the evening so if you arrive late you won't find anyone. ,(

It's my favourite hostel! Excellent location, in the very old town, all main attractions of Prague within walking distance, very spacious comfy rooms, easy access to all basic facilities and stunning atmosphere of an oldschool townhouse. I love it and feel so well there. The stuff is very polite, friendly, honest and helpful. Last time I was there the stuff helped me to solve a problem, although it was out of their regular duties. Definitely recommend <3 <3

Worst experience ever , I even wasnt able to do a proper check in, my assigned bed was already occupied and reception was closed and they never pick up the phone, would not reccomend if you are planning to check in after 5:00pm

Best located, clean if you are looking for a good hostel experience. The service and reception help is very good, they provide you with access to the premises with keys given to you free locker , towel. There is Kfc and donor shop next door and a supermarket run by a Vietnamese family they are very helpful too.

Lack of warm water in the shower, toilet paper and soap in the bathroom. Big plus for the location, room was clean and beds very comfy.

Super nice hostel in the centre of Prague. The location it's perfect if you're arriving from the airport and you have to take the subway to the center.. the staff it's really helpful and comprehensive. The first night I stayed with 5 guys that had a mess in the room but fortunately I was able to change of room for the next night and it was perfect. Definitely the second floor it's better, you'll find more showers, toilets and even a small kitchen. Totally recommended

What a great value for money. Beautiful rooms, very nice staff, anything you might need rental at the reception (hairdryers, extensions plugs). Very clean. Bathrooms might need an update to match the rest of the hostel. Amazing location. I will definitely return next time I'm in Prague. There is a lovely cafe down the road for great breakfast too. The room was very impressive.

One of the door was broken and could only be opened with a key, we left a key inside once and they made us pay for the locksmith to come and open the door which was unlocked but couldn't be opened because of broken mechanism. Locksmith didn't replace the handle mechanism and seemed to be a friend of the owner so I suspect this is something they usually do.

Best location! Staff is very nice. Showers/washrooms are OK, a few stains on the carpet (hence the 4 instead of 5 stars). Seriously though if you’re not picky, stay here. It’s cheap and the location is really the best.

Location was great, in the center, However in terms of tidiness,it was terrible. During our 4 day stay nobody ever came to clean toilets and sinks. I doubt if they have cleaning person here. It seemed nobody ever cleaned toilets and sinks in the last 5 years. Oh and nobody used to take a garbage, trash bins used to reach a celling.:(((((

The location was perfect, price was reasonable, amd staff were super friendly and relaxed. Only 2 complaints are (1) the toilets were a bit dirty and one looked/smelled like it hadn't been flushed in a week, and (2) a sign in the kitchen said they remove unlabeled food on Mondays but mine disappeared on Saturday 😥

Great location, friendly staff, awesome concept/theme. But rooms were warm, stuffy and even slightly smelly. Elevator did not work, which I normally don't mind but luggage and the 5th floor was not very pleasant.

Very nice. Purely, the view from the window is beautiful, near the railway station, in the center. The only thing that did not like is that the shower room does not close

i booked a bed in female dorm and from the pictures online i expected much worse from this hostel, however i was pleasantly surprised when i entered the room i was assigned to. it kind of had the vibe of a cozy attic, so it wasn't that bad. unfortunately there aren't many sockets, especially for the top bunks (they're way too out of reach), but thankfully i had my power bank with me. another issue was that despite keeping the velux windows open, the room didn't get enough ventilation and was too hot in some areas, it would've helped to have a fan nearby. the last two things i didn't enjoy during my stay was the dirtiness of the moquette and couch in my room, plus the nasty smell coming from the shared toilet (which is also not made clear on the website that it's shared). the kitchen was decently equipped and i even used it once. one thing i did appreciate was how the hostel stayed true to its franz kafka theme: all the rooms are named after a kafka work (our, for example, had "the trial" written on it), which is a cute idea. the service was nice, and the lady friendly showed us how things worked. one curiosity: the hostel develops between different floors of the same multi-function building. probably the strongest pro is the position, which is right in the centre of prague. all considered, i wouldn't come back here and i'd recommend it just in case you can't find a better one. instead, if you don't mind shared toilets, dirty furniture, kafka-kitsch interns and only care about staying in the centre without spending too much, this is the one for you.

Not so bad, if you have lower standards, plus it’s good value for money, since it was onl 20€/night. Would return :)

Excellent place in the city but no noise in the rooms, yay. Very clean hostel with everything you need in the kitchen. Rooms are small but you only sleep with a couple of people. Had a fantastic stay in Prague here

👍 A lot of + with one -. This is a very good place for the price (about 26€ or 650 czk/night/person in a room for two people). There is a good kitchen, refrigerator, showers, possibility for laundry and for printing documents, and a nice breakfast. Lidl is right across the street and the Viktoria Žiž...
