Reluctantly leaving a negative review for this hostel. At first glance, I liked this place. The staff are amazing, friendly and welcomimg. There is a good social environment, an organised meal most night and free breakfast. Rooms and toilets are acceptable, so are the kitchen facilities. However, on the first night I was bitten by bed bugs while sleeping. When I brought it up with the staff in a very discreet manner, they seemed to be concerned about it and said they would discuss with the owner how to proceed. Later on I find out that there are no available beds and I will have to remain in the bed or sleep on the couch. Ok, I can handle that. Not much they can do. The next day they move me to a new bed and give me free washing with their faulty equipment. Very good, how I would expect a hostel to respond. Then I find out through one the staff members that a new guest will be sleeping in the infested bed that I just gave up, with management in full knowledge of the bugs within it while keeping the new guest in the dark. They are willing to put a guests in a bed they know has bugs? I have worked at hostels previously and when we had a guests complain about bugs we would instantly put that bed, if not that whole room out of commission for the good of the guests. I would strongly advise the management to look into this as a matter of serious concern. It's better to have a guest go to a different hostel than stay with you in an infested bed/room. I am sad to say this, but do not stay at this hostel if you care about your skin.

Really nice hostel with a great atmosphere. I wish I stayed longer than one night here. Free luggage storage, free basic breakfast, great location for the nightlife, nice common area to relax and meet people, friendly staff, not that secure though since bedroom doors aren't locked for shared rooms. The showers and bathrooms are also randomly scattered throughout the floor. They accept card however there is a 4% fee. However you can pay when you check out in crowns or Euros which is convenient to get rid of all your crowns. Would highly recommend.

This is a really nice, friendly hostel in Prague. The people who run it were extremely lovely and there are lots of really nice touches - like free tea and coffee (with milk and sugar), a library, lots of boardgames and all the wonderful murals. I was in the large dorm upstairs, which was spacious, quiet and dark, though the mattresses are a bit thin. I enjoyed my time here and would come again.

There is no mention of the amount of stairs at this place, if you're carrying a heavy bag it's not ideal. The toilets are the most cramped toilets I've been into. Our floor had 2 toilets and 2 showers for over 30 guests so sometimes the wait was long and painful. The beds could also be more comfortable. The staff are what make this place though and they were really lovely. Location was really good, walking distance to a lot of places and the tram and metro are not far.

recommend to everyone. i like to spontaneously take 2 day trips around Europe as a solo traveller and this hostel was perfect. It has a great student accomodation vibe and you have opportunities to meet a lot of people and speak with them which is what i did. Lights are out at 11-12pm midnight so no need to worry about noise etc as everyone is respectable here. Needless to say I only paid around £10 a night with free breakfast!

I am giving 3 stars for the good location, the fact that everything felt clean, the 24h reception and the chocolate at breakfast. I requested a place to sleep down during reservation and got one up, even if I booked with 1.5 months in advance. The internet was quite bad on the 3rd floor. The beds are not really comfortable and if somebody walks in the room it vibrates strongly and makes a horrible noise. The toilets are really small and very few for the number of people. Breakfast very basic, the juice of very bad quality. Happy I had to sleep there just a few hours. Deposit or some card are requested for the keys. If you want to pay by card 4% is added.

We had an amazing stay here in July. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are mostly clean (even though the furniture seems a bit... well... overused). However, the hostel's beautiful paintings and overall looks on the inside really create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. In addition, the hostel is located right in the middle of the town, with the river on the right and the city centre on the left. We would absolutely stay here again.

There are two sitting rooms, where there are always great people around and we ended up spending one night chatting, playing cards and drinking beer from the hostel bar (1€).all in all it was a great stay and I would go there again!

What a great experience! An excellent hostel for travellers looking for economic options. The bedroom for 16 people is good. They offer towels, lockers and breakfest free of charge. The location is perfect, very close to the city center.

We stayed for 3 nights. It is a cozy place and the main spots to be are within walking distance. The breakfast was held simple with toast and cereal, and there is free coffee, tea and coacoa all day. The receptionists are very nice, even at late hours.
