I
INITIALLY
CHECKED
INTO
ANOTHER
PLACE
IN
PRAHA
8
(a
hostel
from
hell),
where
I
was
chased
away
by
the
overall
state
of
the
place
there,
then
by
the
stench
followed
by
the
bed
bugs
and
hygiene
standards
there
which
are
lower
than
what
you
would
find
in
a
cave
centered
in
a
3rd
world
country,
which
by
the
way
would
be
the
only
other
place
where
someone
would
steal
a
pair
of
pants
from
you,
because
that’s
what
happened
in
my
first
hostel.
Then,
I
asked
a
random
driver
for
his
recommendation,
and
he
recommended
Motel
Grado,
the
price
was
lucrative
as
well
so
I
said
why
not,
and
set
off
to
the
unknown,
desperately
needing
to
find
a
bed
that
will
not
feast
on
my
blood
the
whole
night.
Upon
reaching
Motel
Grado,
I
was
greeted
by
a
very
kind
staff
member,
who
helped
me
check
in
quickly
and
directed
me
to
my
room.
I
wont
lie,
in
the
beginning
I
was
in
denial
that
such
a
nice
place
could
exist
for
such
a
low
price.
I
was
actual-ly
wondering
what
the
catch
was;
but
there
was
none!
Everything
at
motel
Grado
is
great!
The
room
was
clean,
and
spacious
with
a
whole
queen
size
bed,
with
a
mattress
that
was
suspiciously
comfortable
for
a
motel,
but
I
guess
the
world
still
has
a
few
good
things
left.
The
WC
and
showers
were
clean
and
the
hygiene
standards
were
professionally
maintained
for
the
entirety
of
my
stay;
in
fact
I
would
dare
to
say
that
the
standards
of
cleanliness
in
that
place
were
even
higher
to
what
I
got
used
to
during
my
student
life,
so
I
am
definitely
impressed
but
also
embarrassed.
The
location
is
quite
nice,
just
walk
for
4
mins
to
the
Janonice
metro
station
and
a
10
minutes
ride
would
place
you
right
in
the
center.
And
the
staff…wow
!!
So
incredibly
professional
and
thoughtful
and
kind,
going
out
of
their
way
to
make
your
stay
more
comfortable…my
favorite
interaction
was
with
Mohamed
who
works
at
the
reception;
really
what
a
great
guy!
There
is
definitely
a
friendly
atmosphere,
which
extends
all
the
way
to
the
pub&restaurant
mezi
lany
(which
by
the
way
has
quite
cheap
beer
so
how
can
this
get
any
better),
and
the
radiant
vibe
present
throughout
the
whole
place
is
heartwarming.
So
please
guys,
keep
going
to
this
place
and
lets
keep
it
alive,
because
it
really
is
some
incredible
stuff…for
20-25
euros
a
night
THERE
IS
NOTING
BETTER;
Motel
Grado
is
definitely
a
underrated
gem;
a
glowing
light
in
a
sea
of
horrible
hostels
filled
with
blood
feasting,
back
breaking,
dementor
soul-sucking
beds
(for
the
price
given).
10/10
WOULD
DEFINITELY
RECOMMEND
!!!!
