It is a good place to start for few days. Although I stayed quite a while. The reception people are really friendly and helpful with all. The beds are comfortable enough. Just the kitchen didn't have an stove so it was quite limiting. That aside, it was a good place. Value for money, it is really worth it. I would recommend it for backpackers. 👌

Oh boy... This place is the absolute bare basics. You get a bed and that's it. The rooms have no lock and the main entrance is unlocked during the day, so theoretically anyone walking by can just come into your room and take your stuff. The entire place is smelly and dirty, the rooms, beds, even the guests... Beds are noisy and uncomfortable. Windows have no curtains and there's a bar directly below the hostel, so have fun trying to sleep at night. Bathrooms smell like piss and half the time hot water doesn't work. You'll be lucky if there's soap. The only reason why I'm giving 2 stars is because it's cheap and is in a good location. But for future travelers: If you have ANY dignity, go elsewhere. Only go here if the alternative is sleeping on the street and you can't afford anything better.

Don't be fooled by the cheap prices. Never again. Not too far away from Subway Station and centre. Staff was ok. Dirty bathrooms, place is in a state of decay, barely visible from outside to be the location, and weird smells. The place is sketchy and was uncomfortable to stay in.

The worst hostel expired ever. Never going back. I shared a room with 7 of my friends and the room was smelling. Also, the bathroom was the dirtiest bathroom i have ever seen. I don’t even wanna talk about the toilets. Also, they don’t have locks for the rooms so anyone can enter to your room which makes the place very unsafe.

The place is dirty and so are the people. The rooms, small kitchen, toilets and showers are dilapidated. The beds are horrible, not at all comfortable and they creak all the time, preventing others from sleeping. The toilets are not lockable. In general, there's no privacy, no curtains, no little light above the bed. All options are subject to a charge. The only good thing is the location.

Horrible. Don’t go here alone. Cheap and ok location, but I recommend bringing a sleeping bag. Stayed in a 6 people room and beds were all damaged. Bathrooms were dirty. And not divided. Toilets didn’t have proper doors and weren’t separated. Kitchen was minimal, no stove, limited dishes, not enough seats. Didn’t feel comfortable at all.

Spent alot of money to spend 8 days here, room smelt like sewage and 20 minute cues to use the toilet in the morning. I should have known better. On the morning of checking out I have my bag stolen. Luckily my passport was hidden in my rucksack, but that had also been rummaged through.. belongings all over the dorms floor. Before steeling my bag they had the courtesy to take out my book and coat though, so kind. When I complained they did not care. Don't stay here. Spend €10 extra to stay somewhere nice, life is too short, and supposedly so are belongings.

It was the worst hostel experience I have ever had, heard or seen. Toilets were really dirty. There are several bathrooms but most of them do not have hot water. The hostel smells really bad, I do not know why. At the first night we came, one of our bed was taken away. Somebody in the hostel just took it and carried it to another room. The only advantage is that location is nice.

I give it a star because it won't let me give it any. Shabby and dirty hostel. The receptionists are smoked and it smells bad. 0% recommended.

It was my worst experience ever. Every parts of hostel smells very bad. I cant breathe in there. Bedding was very dirty. Toilets were dirty too. There wasnt any soap. Bed was very uncomfortable. Location isnt bad. I will never go there again.

Not clean at all, toilet doors were a little broken and stuck or too loose and I didn't have hot water at all. You get what you pay for, but there are many many better hostels than this for cheap prices. I leff a day early.

Avoid this place! Especially if you are a girl. The place is cheap but dirty, stinky, far from the centre. They don't have any separate rooms for girls, nor do they say to you that it is not a proper place for girls. It's full of drunk men and, especially if you are alone, you wouldn't feel safe here. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I just have bad memories about every minute of my stay there. (I couldn't sleep, nor use the showers or the kitchen or anything else) If you have the chance to pay more for a different location, don't hesitate! But I also think there are better places at the same price but in good conditions. I don't recommend it.

Perhaps the best traditional pub that is now in Dejvice. Always great beer, welcoming rock music, open until late hours, perfect waitress, they even have Foxáž, hope they will keep on going.

This place is literally the best. The receptionists are super kind (honestly). Beds are super hard, which was perfect for my back (I have scoliosis). The people staying there are extremely kind, like a community. I felt at home, so blessed by this experience. Thank you Hostel Fontana

The Hostel Owner was not at all serious & responsible !! No security at all ! There was a guy entered the hostel with out booking & stayed for a night , robbed our Things like 1) MARSHAL speaker worth 200€ 2) WRIST WATCH ARMANI EXCHANGE WORTH 200£ & the guy was so irresponsible & no help nothing!!

The experience was not so great.Washrooms and the lights are not at all working properly or it's pretty horrible maintenance. The locker facility is bad. Overall the experience was bad, but I stayed most of the time outside..thats a relief.

Omg, it was really interesting experience. I didn’t find another variants and booked bed in this hostel for 1 night. For 50 euro! Pluses: calm location, a lot of groceries. Minuses: all the rest. Never again! 😅😅

The hostel lays on a good location near a subway! The host is awesome, very nice and fun to talk with. Unfortunately the beddings is a little sketchy (found hair on the pillow) and the bathrooms are not nice. Overall an ok hostel for 1-2 nights.

Easy and simple. When you arrive it takes the first 5 min to understand the place/structure, but after that it's very nice. Would definitely recommend (: Close to a tram and bus station, also to the subway. Food places and supermarkets are near by.

There is no password in wifi.So anyone can connect it.So the signal is awful.there is no key for the guest.That means the front door and your room are not locked.Everyone can go into your space.I'm so scared.

the most uncomfortable bed I've ever suffered... and I regularly sleep on the ground. no kitchen to speek of. finally a man was hacking up a lung in the bed next to mine from the hours of midnight to 4am.

They allowed us to take the bikes inside which Was really nice because we were bikepacking and extremely dependent on our Equipment. So thank you very much for that!

Overall an okay place for a night or two, very chill atmosphere. However there were only a few working showers and no hot water. Wouldn't really recommend for a longer stay, but if you just need a place to crash it works

Great price in very chill area! If you wanna have a local experience more than just the Touristic spots , this hostel it really worth it ! And the receptionist is a very cool guy always happy to help 😎👌👌✨ (perfect for backpackers who wanna save some money, but don’t spect a 5 stars hotel , is mostly a place to sleep over and leave your bag in a safe place ).

Fantana hostel is very bad. Not at all clean and secure. They delayed check-in time at 1 and we waited fee hour after 1pm to check in at hostel. Very bad condition of rooms and wash rooms. Not at all recommended.

It’s a great hostel with very friendly staff. People there were also very nice. Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest and some didn’t have locks. It is a bit far from the centre, however, it’s a nice neighborhood and there’s public transport available not too far away. It’s very affordable and a great place to stay for people on a budget!

Great hostel. Super friendly receptionist willing to give you plenty of information on what to do. Comfortable beds with sheets and pillows included. Showers and toilets are nice, however only one has hot water. Lockers free, easy to use, and right next to beds. Cheap price per night. As expected it won’t be as nice as a hotel, but if you know what to expect from a hostel, this is a great option. Would bring an eye mask if light bothers you and you want to sleep in.

Disgusting, I'm not ever coming back!! Everything is dirty and old. I don't recommend this place. The price is cheap but not worth it at all.

I PREFERRED BEING HOMELESS!! My standards are very low as to the hostels I stay , but this one outdid me. First of all, the reception guy was looking mad sketchy and was wearing a t shirt with holes while smoking outside the hostel. As we were waiting for him to finish his cigarette, we observed the hostel and the first thing we noticed was an excruciating and disgusting smell of dirty feet and mold . We also noticed some tenants walking around the hostel half naked wearing boxers and looking like they haven't had a shower in 2 months . Some other tenants also warned us saying " ULTRA DIRTY GO AWAY NOW " . When the reception guy finally came I asked him if we could see the room we would be staying in and he said yes but only one of you . When i got inside the room , the awful smell became twice as strong as it was and I almost even threw up. My roommate was a smelly and dirty homeless guy with a huge rucksack with all of his belongings in it and a pair of rotten boots smelling like old blue cheese. We cancelled the hostel and went looking for another place to stay , please dont go if you have the slightest bit of dignity

The rooms were absolutely smelly, the hostel closes around 00:00 and the staff go home and they people on their own. So if you get in any trouble there then nobody can help you or if you have a late check in, your gonna sleep in the street. There is no oven to cook and no spoon to eat with.
