As someone backpacking through Europe, Hostel Boudnik was one of my very favorite hostels. Very affordable, in Prague 3 which is more industrial with cool places to go and close to both the central bus and train stations, and the staff were the friendliest I've met so far -- they helped me plan a trip to Kutna Hora, printed out a bus ticket for me, even helped me fix my phone! A great medium-sized hostel that is easy to meet fellow solo travelers with comfortable beds and a good patio area. Bathroom is shared for the floor though there are extra bathrooms on the 1st floor which is single gender. Free coffee and tea all day & free Sunday breakfast is perfect. Highly recommend for low-maintenance, budget travelers!!

The location is quit far from center around 3 kilos to walk. Have comfort bed. They have kitchen to cook. Sometimes wifi is poor. And my bad experience there : They provide paid breakfast, but when I have my breakfast there, they provide expired bread, i have complaint to the man on receptionist, but he said that is not their problem, how could he said something like that? They should checked the quality of food because it paid. And I already paid for around 4 euro for breakfast. But, they dont give me the compesation. Close to stations for bus and train. Helpful staff - the red head guy who recommended us to local Czech restaurant for nice lunch. Didn't even need to use public transportation. Only thing is don expect sound proofing for the room but nothing a pair of ear buds can't fix...(which is available at reception for 10 czk). Clean comfy beds and great hot water pressure too.
