Smelly sheets and bugs in bed!! Avoid!

Nice and affordable hostel in downtown and close to biggest park in Prague with nice walk to Prague castle. Great location & services from friendly owners with big hearth! Must stay in Prague!

The room was open when we entered, although there were someone's things inside. Apparently the roommates did not close the doors. The handle is broken. There is no light in the separate shower. There is also no light in the kitchen. After our comments, they brought us a table lamp into the kitchen. Cold. On May 4 the temperature dropped to 3 degrees. Cold. We were told that they had set the temperature at 42 degrees, but the radiators were cold, although it had noticeably warmed up or we had inhaled it. Breakfast is not provided. There is a refrigerator and microwave. Shared toilet and shower. Wifi periodically disappears. You need to wander around and look for it. The bicycle can be left outside, in the open air, but in the patio. All this pleasure costs 600 UAH. (1800 CZK for three). In the kitchen it’s like on Shelezyak’s planet. There are no spoons, no forks, and no deep plates either.

One comes to the hostel, leaves in the morning. The receptionist writes in an hour that I have to pay a fine. What I have to pay was already there in front of me. I can't go to their hotels because of the "smart" cleaning lady. I do not recommend!!! Answer: the smell you mentioned was already there before us. You should have dealt with the people who were there before us. Yes they paid because your employee threatened us!

Booked a room for 3 days. The number did not match what was stated. There weren't even curtains in the room. The hostel administration initially responded friendly to our comments: “Go and rest, we’ll fix everything when you return!” In reality, everything turned out to be wrong. On the first night we were bitten by some insects. The second night was no exception! We caught bedbugs on ourselves, on the bed, on the walls... Of course, we read about the shortcomings of the hostel: the lack of dishes, the clogged drain, but no one warned about the bedbugs. We reported the problem to the hostel administration, they canceled our reservation with the wording “we didn’t show up”, we didn’t return the money in full and they accused us of bringing it with us. Now we are restoring our health and psyche. But the saddest thing is that the holiday is ruined. Please think before you move there, is saving 200 CZK worth ruining your weekend and spending it in the same company with bedbugs?!..

The worst accommodation! Very unclean, messy rooms full with dust, BEDS were absolutely discussing, I would not sleep in them even if I were completely drunk! : dirty mattresses - sheets were covered in hairs and dirt from at least 5 previous people, bed cover was old, messy as well... Disgust and dirt, I don't understand how someone can run accommodation like this for money! The beds hadn't been changed for maybe half a year, the sheets were smelly, old, dirty!, the sheets were full of hairs and crumbs, I'd rather not even look further and pick up, just to be sure, the mattresses... I would ignore the fact that the carpets were also old and dirty, but the shower, I wouldn't get into that either, the rose had limescale on it, dust and stench everywhere. Therefore, the evening after the event, I pulled myself together and went elsewhere, not even a pig would sleep in this.

Expect this place to be closed soon due to noise complaints!!
