the hostel staff refused to refund a very long reservation in a very impolite way, treating me badly in front of other guests and even calling the police. they got my money in cash, didnt give me a receipt until i left the accommodation. looks very dodgy. definitely cannot recommend this accommodation.

They are closed down. Don't book. You will loose money.

Someone may have thrown away my electric toothbrush and adapter. I plugged it into the bathroom to charge. 3 hours later it was gone. I doubt anyone would steal it. I think one of the cleaners threw it away. There’s no rules posted about leaving things in the bathroom, maybe it’s a rule. Although the hostel isn’t responsible for personal items, nobody should have to worry about their tooth brush being taken. Even your most common invaluable items are not safe at this hostel. It’s also possible that this weird old man on my floor took it. He was acting weird. At 4am he was shuffling through his stuff while hyperventilating for over 30 minutes. He also made weird noises. I couldn’t sleep as a result.

If you have an option don't go there . When I arrived I couldn't get inside . Reception door was locked . Instead of 4 bed room I was placed in 6 bed room . Dirty and unsafe place . With rude personal. They never changed my bed for 14 days of stay , my food was constantly taken . No dishes in shared kitchen at all . Place often visited my police . Unpleasant stay .

BEWARE SCAM! Communication has been very poor since the reservation, they don't respond to emails, the number is foreign, but when we arrived at the place, no one was there even after half an hour of waiting. Trying to call useless, on the other end someone who has nothing to do with the hostel, so a fake number. We had to find another hotel.

It is an advantage that the facility is close to the tram stop. But this facility is not an opportunity in my opinion. Wifi was good.There was a very small refrigerator in the room. When we arrived at the facility, a Ukrainian mother and son was in our room. Obviously he would have given them the room if we hadn't come. When we came, she said to them, find another facility. There were no hangers in the room to hang your stuff. How can something as simple as a hanger not be... I asked for a towel from the official, she said we don't give towels. When I asked for a cover to pray, we couldn't give it. She gave a ridiculous answer like you asked us for a towel anyway. The lady on duty was speaking very fast I said can you be a little slow but the result did not change... You can't find any tools in the kitchen. It was not asked whether the bed linens were changed during the holiday. A business that provides you only bed, wifi, WC and shower facilities... nothing more. WC and shower are already in common use.We have to go to the old city every day, but it was not a facility worth it. As a result, it is a sloppy and uninterested business, I definitely do not recommend it.

If there was an option to give zero stars I would have gone for that. Worst experience ever!! Totally frustrated with the hostel management (cleaning lady/care taker) Cons: 1) The cleaning lady/care taker is weird and arrogant! She cannot speak English. Has no manners about how to deal with the costumers. 2) One day after coming back, they did not allow me to go in my room for 3 hours, as they had sprayed some pesticides in my room. I was not informed about this in any manner before. Instead of apologizing, the cleaning lady started shouting at me. 3) She directly entered in the room at any time in the day for cleaning without knocking or taking permission. Other people staying in different rooms also faced the same problem. 4)Electricity went out when I was cooking. Had to wait for one and half hour for it to come back. 5) It’s far away from the city center 6) Reception is only open from 4 PM to 10 PM. So you can check in only in that time. So if you have any problem, there is no way to contact the reception at any other time. Pros: It’s cheap. And the place is good.

We arrived at midnight after a night watching Eurovision on the expectation there would be some sort of night manager. There was no-one there, and the whole building was dark. Luckily there were several kind people sitting in the hallways and kitchen. After talking to the others staying there we found that there had been no power for the past 3 days and so only the hallway plugs worked. That's why everyone was sitting around. We still needed a bed for the night and so asked around for who had a spare made up bed and went looking. After crawling around the building in the dark we found 2 spare beds. But all of the rooms were hot, dirty and had overflowing trash and suspicious marks smeared on the walls. Once we settled down and got ready for bed (in total darkness) we found that the beds were worn out, shaky and uncomfortable if you were lucky to get a clean one. There's no air conditioning at all and we found out in the morning when the sun came up at 5 no curtians either. Everything else was the standard hostel experience of too many people in tiny rooms. We never saw the receptionist and we looked in the morning. Turns out they are only there from 15-20. Its bad. The rule of never going for the cheapest hostel is very valid here.

Checking in they gave us a key to a room that was full, we had to ask for another room. They put us in a 6 bed room, even though we had booked a 4 bed room. We checked in on a Saturday and there was no electricity in the building until Monday. It was cheap, 10 min Uber or tram to the center, it had hot water, lockers. It was more or less what we expected.

The rooms are clean, the toilets (two per floor) are cleaned everyday, but the kitchen equpment doesn't exist (one spoon, one bowl, one plate). Right next to the hostel is a tram stop with three lines and chinese restaurant.

The property is in the process of being renovated. We therefore arrived for free on June 14th, 2022. Driven 600 kilometers for free, just getting there. The workmen opened the door and there were only building materials in the building

This stay was... interesting The reception is open few hours a day which is not easy and you know the hours only by going on the website. The room was supposed to be for 4 women but we were 6, in maybe 8m². The kitchen is a real mess and you have abolutely nothing to cook nor forks or spoons. Also, there is only 1 bathroom for each floor. Besides that, I was lucky to share the room with respectful people and i paid 30€ for 3 nights so i cannot complain about the service. The location is good, you can be in the city center in less than 20min

Dears, I have been totally on my toes here. The attitude of the owner and employees was tragic. The owner was scared. Overall, we did not feel safe and comfortable here. We were supposed to get a discount, but they pretended they didn't know anything about it. We waited a long time for the keys. I would recommend retraining the cleaning lady. Nice girl, but she's not very good at cleaning. The room was very dirty, we had dirty towels and sheets! Disgust... The bathroom also not much. There was noise in the evening and no one was going to deal with it. I do not recommend. Too bad you can't give zero stars...

The host didn't show up, and he didn't reply to our calls, and emalis, we had to book another place to sleep. Still no reply to this day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSTEL!!

And two days later they charged my credit card even though we didn`t use their hotel. This is a scam, so dont`go here!

Crazy place. Reception works only from 15-00. So be ready to wait on the street. Cleaning crew is also a disaster, because when it’s cleaning time all hostel becomes a big mess. There’s nothing in the kitchen. Also somebody stole my cup(

We booked the accommodation on March 10, 2022, which was confirmed. On June 15, they sent the online registration, which we filled out and sent back. On the day of the trip (22.06.2022), the hostel was closed. Later, a person in charge informed the 10 people waiting there that the hostel was not open this month, but many other people besides us had been there. We arrived in Prague for a concert, but unfortunately the incident significantly affected our mood. We have been scammed!!!!!!!!!!!! Outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!! The accommodation was booked on 10 March 2022 and it was confirmed (Booking.com). On June 15th the online registration was sent to fill it out which was filled and returned back. On the trip day after arriving at the hostel, it was realized that the hostel was closed, nobody could be reached on the phone. Hours later when already 10 people were waiting in front of the hostel somebody informed the group that the hostel won't be opened this month. next to us a with a lot of other people happened the some and made very difficult hours to find alternative accommodation for that night. We arrived in Prague for a concert, but unfortunately the incident significantly affected our mood. They cheated on us !!!!!!!!!!!! Outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope the hostel will be fired from the system because of this behavior.

Horrible experience!!!! Was here 2 times, awful option, please avoid this hotel! The food and our cup was stolen. Tried to check in - they said that our room is occupied and we need to stay one night in another room. The room smelled horribly and we couldn’t stay there. AVOID ROOM 603!!!! The smell which you can feel - is someone went on toilet on bed, we saw the sheets last time we were here. Two weeks left but the smell is still unbearable! In the end we were left on the street (better than in the stinky room) without hotel and reservation. Thank you for the support dear Homer hostel!!! They said they would bring our money back, but where are WE SUPPOSED TO LIVE????

We arrived in front of the hotel with 2 of my friends, we wanted to visit Prague. There is nothing posted, a gentleman informed me that the hotel had been closed for 2 months and had become a home for the elderly. Unfortunately, this was not reported to Szállás.hu, which is why we went this way.

I would like to be able to evaluate my stay but unfortunately the hostel canceled my reservation a week before my arrival, without giving any explanations and not responding to messages or calls. Draw your own conclusions

It was not a good experience overall. When I arrived at the hostel, the main gate was closed, they didn’t allow me to get in. It was raining outside, I asked them to go inside just and not to check in but I was said to wait outside till 3PM, the checking time. The Checking In process also took a lot time to wait at the reception later. Finally after long wait when I was a given a room, it was not so dirty, it was in same condition as was checked out by someone and was given to me. When I asked them for cleaning of room many times, I was simply said that the cleaning is done only once a week. There was so bed smell in the room as well as in bathrooms. I tried to use kitchen and put my some food and fruits for breakfast in the fridge at kitchen but I didn’t find that in the morning, someone already took. My overall behaviour was not so good even. I don’t recommend this place. If you have other option please go with that.
