We just arrived in the Hostel...I was ill. At the reception the woman answered us SHUT UP. She could not speak English, we could hardly understand. We had to pay 1650 krone... like 20 € more than the booking price. Once we joined our room, there was no light, no heat, no socket to charge the phone...I do not speak for cleaning, but at least EDUCATION. I am without words. Pay to be treated like this. Shameful, Respectless. It is really a pity...

Avoid this place, the receptionist was very rude and they are fraudulent. I booked on booking.com and requested double bed which they confirmed. Upon arrival, the lady tried to force a single room on me which I rightly declined and asked for cancellation. I still got charged for a place I did not stay and they have refused to refund me. I will pursue every legal means to get my refund. I also don't know why booking.com gave them my debit card details anyway.

First time coming here and shock with the view, so beautiful when autumn is coming. The only one who can speak english was the receptionist or maybe the owner, and the rest can't. It was feels like I'm having jumpscare when living in this hostel. My room was little bit dirty and feels spooky with dim lights. Overall, it was unforgettable and memorable experience 😉👍

This place is one of the top worst Hostels in the world and beside that is more like workers lodge. + Nice soroundings, parks, sporting activities nearby. - Everything what can you imagine. On reception you will be warned that this is no smoking place....ashes can be seen in toilet, kitchen. Smoke is everywhere, you can close windows but it will come after you. Do not use Google maps to find a way, it will took you over nice park (during daylight) which at nice is a little bit creepy. Take a walk over a road with same name as the Hostel is. Some of the beds are homemade products, including some wardrobe closets. Beds are so hard that you can sleap on floor since you will not feel the difference. Showers are stare of the art. All new except the rusty radiator and no hooks to hung a towel. Water will run if you press the button AND KEEP IT IN THAT POSITION. So please take some joga classes before coming here. And second the water coming out is so hot that one day I was forced to wash myself in steps of only one second. Staff on reception is so friendly that in mind you will be able to return behind the iron curtain. Strongly DO NOT recommend.

This is the worst hostel I have ever encountered.this is not suitable for visiting tourist. This is a workers dorm not for tourist. So smelly rooms with very itchy beds. We booked a double bed size room we are a couple on our first Christmas holidays.they gave us a four single bed all separate room. Very lousy. The receptionist said they rejected our booking of double size bed. Well we didn't received any email or message from this hostel. We were charged 332€ for 4days stay!!! And we would have canceled if we were shown the room first to be the one we booked.I believe this hostel is not qualified to price like this as they are not tourist friendly. They have a kitchen but no mugs no spoons no pots no pans for tourist guest. We have to use the regular renters private stuffs so we can cook our meal. In my experience the hostel provides this items so guest can use when they need. I was even told by one of the hotel worker THAT IS MINE. it's not like I am taking it with me back to Portugal.kitchen table never wipe clean since we arrived til we checked out.kitchen sink is always wirh unwashed used plates etc. They have rules that nobody seems to obey. No smoking but everywhere have cigarette ashes and burns and residents sharing cigarettes at the hallway. Room 23 is always noisy loud music singing rap songs. My first night I woked up past midnight to this noisy men singing. I went down to inform night receptionist she immediately put a stop to it.past 4am again loud voices talking I again notified the receptionist and she scolded the 3men in that room. Next several nights I stop complaining as this people doesn't seem to listen at all. I just don't sleep ril the noise died down then I get my sleep. The bathrooms shower are the most ridiculous outrageous shower concept I have ever encountered.it's like a gym shower common. No doors.just plastic curtain to cover you while you shower. Very unsafe and utterly disgusting.no hanger to put your towel or clothes. Nowhere to put your shampoo soap just on the floor. Our closet don't have hangers so we use the extra beds to put our clothes in. And everytime you go out you have to leave the keys with the receptionist. Why? I am not secured leaving my rented room keys to them. They can access my room when we are out. And they always turn off the heater when we go out we come back it's cold room.the paints in the room are peeling. The last day the mirror feel suddenly down at my feet hitting the side of my boots.lucky I didn't got hit in the head.

The worst thing is the check-in check-out time and the staff. Check-in is very late (14h) while check-out is very early (10h). In men bathroom, there is no hangers for clothes as well as you have to press the shower all the time to have water. Especially, the worst thing is the reception woman. She treated us as if she was doing charity, I saw no friendliness and respects to customers from her. It was like we needed her, but she did not need us. For example, during the check-in, she asked us to put luggage not to block the way as if she was a mom telling her children. After finishing the check-in, my friend just took 1 minute to enter the wifi password, but she said:" Quickly. I don't have time" (although there were no customers waiting at that time. Are there any staffs talking to customers in that way???). Then, we we went out, we waited at the reception desk to give her the key, but she did not even mind. Only until I knocked the key on the table to gently alert her, she stopped looking at the computer and threw a angry sign to us. On the last day, after check-out, we gently asked here whether it was possible for us to leave our luggage at the hotel until 16pm since we left Prag very late at night. Although we know that this is just a exception, many hostels in the places we have traveled let us to that, just make sure to agree on the time. But the woman refused and said there were no places at hotel (although the room was very empty). In brief, I recommend you not staying here. For this kind of hostel and staff, we should be strictly for them to change. Otherwise, they think that we need us, so they can do whatever they want.

Stayed there in 1997. Back then it was named "HOTEL"(LOL) Libeň. I can see not much has changed in last 20 years.

Very good for what it is, worth it's price. 24/7 reception presence. Access to collective kitchen. Washing and drying clothes for 150 CZK. Coffee machine. About 150-200 CZK for an Über to town. Otherwise a short 10min walk to the subway station. Strict of keeping it quiet during evening because of the thin walls. Shops and restaurants are within short walking distance. There's even a tavern 5 meters away. Nice park and really good kids playground 50 meters away. Highly recommended for travellers who want to save money and just needs a bed for up to a week.

We got what we paid for. Its cheap, out of city center, but very close to metro station. Nice location, water, sport locations, park. Some restaurants nearby but we didnt eat there. Everything was ok. Clean, dry, place. Not so new BUT some things were under renovation, or just after it so its improving :) That there was no light in the showers because it was just after renovation (so its not SO bad) The fact that there was no shelves/hangers under and next to the showers (for shower gel and clothes). Aslo main entrance to the shower was only one doors and nothing else. There could be at least one curtain after entrance so it wouldny be so visible. Thin walls :(

Really unsympathic treat of the receptionist. Cold water in the shower. Terrible furnishing and light in the rooms and bathroom. internet is not working well. We were given the boot out of the room in a stressing way 5 min before checkout time (knocking the door and telling us to come out) wouldnt recommend it at all.

For the price for two stupid days, I am very dissatisfied with this hotel. I've been in many hotels for the same price as this one and the difference was big, and that's because in those other hotels for almost the same price I had my own toilet and shower, so if someone wants to sleep normally, you'd better look for something else because I definitely do not recommend this hostel, which is masquerading as a hotel. By the way, I had a three-bed suite, if you can call it that.

👍 A lot of + with one -. This is a very good place for the price (about 26€ or 650 czk/night/person in a room for two people). There is a good kitchen, refrigerator, showers, possibility for laundry and for printing documents, and a nice breakfast. Lidl is right across the street and the Viktoria Žiž...
