Great food, fair prices. I tend to go there at least twice a week. The daily menu is great, I especially recommend the ribs and burgers.

would have been easily a 4*-review, because beers were good and snacks tasted great, but it's a cash-only-bar! that wasn't mentioned (written or said!) anywhere. come on, it's 2023! nearest ATM is a total scam (next to Lidl, they charge you like 5€ extra), had to walk even longer. not a great experience in the middle of the night to be honest.

Good location. The atmosphere is breathtaking, the place is nice. Service friendly and fast. Good options for every cuisine. Food was really delicious, I’m big burrito fan, so I can highly recommend it. Nachos and guacamole very tasty. I really enjoyed the amount of beer you can pick from. My favourite is Apollo something by Matuška. We will be back for sure!

SHAME! I have been in Diego few times and my girlfriend decided to make her birthday party here. The pub was about to close when one of my friends asked for something small and nice to drink before leaving. The answer of the head of the waiters was "nevybirejte žadné pi****ny nebo vás vyrazím". He was basically saying not to ask for bu****it or that he would kick us out. We told him that that is not the way how to be treating the customer and that we could leave if we wanted to. The head of the waiters became all proud and told us to leave and we really did. Apparently he didn't expect it at all. The guy of the waiters was during the whole evening really rude to us and that last comment was definitely unacceptable. I really don't think this pub is the place people want to be socializing and enjoying a beer. I am really disappointed about what happened.

Unfortunately the staff (especially the main bartender) were rude and selective, denying us food and drinks while others were still being served. Cash only is accepted and I wonder why - many foreigners were there. Double check your bill and start enjoying some different pubs. So many of them in Prague!

Quick and friendly service, over 8 beers rotating on tap, and great Mexican food. The staff is very friendly and they can help you in Czech or English no problem. I tend to frequent this place for the staff and chill vibe. Highly recommend :)

An unexpectedly good place for drinks and food. It boasted an excellent and original collection of beers but they ran out of some during the evening. We had piri piri ribs and smoked duck/cheese quesadillas. Both were perfectly cooked, properly portioned and really delicious. The place had a wonderful ambiance for winter and it is downstairs, as is the norm for many Czech restaurants. They only accept cash, so be prepared.

Well gosh, a stupendous little beer bar in Prague. If you want to branch out from the admittedly excellent pilsners available every 50 feet or so, seek this joint out. Fantastic craft beers (I just had a nice saison and an excellent NE IPA), and the whole vibe is very casual craft beer-ish. The bartenders have good knowledge of their product and make excellent recommendations. I hear the tacos are tasty, but I can't offer first hand testimony; I am a simple Drunkard.

Definitely a great pub to visit in Prague. Super dece craft tap lineup with plenty of tasty local beer on offer. Juicy IPAs and the like. Cool feel to the place being in the basement with vaulted ceilings and remnants of the past. Had some Mexican food which was solid enough. Would go back for sure.

Great place for craft beer, which is actually constantly changing and renewing, with up to 9-10 different positions. They also have tex-mex food, which is normal-good, specially the nachos. It's very popular in the evenings, so it may be quite full.

I came here to eat some ribs. It is not a regular rack of ribs, to begin with. The taste was below average. 3 stars only because of the beer. The beer was great.

Ordered delivery two times. Both times the burgers were bad. The bun is always wet. The meat isn't particularly good either (both taste and cook level). Same with fries - more like baked potatoes. The only good thing was Churros. If you want a decent burger/fries - look for some other place.

I had been coming here regularly up until yesterday. Good choice of beer, nice staff, ambience. Food had always been great. Up until yesterday. I ordered ribs, which I usually did. Except this time around this was hardly ribs, especially compared to how they used to do them. It looked like the very rear part where the tail begins... The meat barely came off the bones and was hard. This was really upsetting. The friends I was with followed my advice and ordered the ribs too. Same story everywhere. Diego is off my fav list now.

Really nice spot for drinks and food with friends. The beers and wines are great, the food is tasty and you have a generous portion. The staff was super friendly and made us feel well taken care of. Price-wise, it's pretty worth it for the quality

After several days of Czech food, we were in need of a change. But not that big a change, I still wanted beer! So this downstairs hole in the wall in Karlin looked like just what the doctor ordered. Lively feel, looks like a fun, neighborhood hangout. We bellied up at the bar, and ordered from the dozen or so microbrews. All good stuff. We got quesadillas and chorizo tacos. The quesadillas were amazing, they had black beans in there, really tasty. The tacos were also good, but the chorizo was actually sliced bits of saucage instead of cooked minced chorizo, so it was kinda weird. But all in all, good food, great beer, decent prices, fun bar.

I like the humble interior with authentic textures. The ambience sort of pushes you to be more comfortable/casual there. The beer is good. The food is ok. I think the best experience to be had here is to go for some beer for a casual after work type of hangout with a group of people. Its an only cash place which makes it the latter choice for me since there are many other alternatives out there.

Awesome place with good beer, great atmosphere, and even greater food. Only disadvantage cash only payments, but they are totally worth the experience.

Decent variety of beers, good looking and tasty meals. I'm not a big fan of narrow cellars but it was good enough. At least the next day hangover was sign of my overall satisfaction.

I can't understand why there are so many good reviews here. Beer is not tasty, small portions of food for a high price. The service is not very good. I went to this place only because of the reviews and was very disappointed. :(

Absolutely brilliant experience! Lovely stuff with huge smile, able to answer all my stupid questions . Fair prices A LA CARTE menu and even better daily menu, where you can choose from 3 options ish. +++ Vegetarian options. Fantastic beer! I was bit disappointed there was no IPA at the moment, but it’s just personal and also they change beers so most probably other day IPA would be available. The space itself it just lovely. 5* also because I love Foxy and she made me day

The food is nice, really good price and portions. This one of my go-to places for lunch, their lunch menus are also good and cheap. The staff is ok, but the overall place is nice.
