A
historic
hall
containing
the
famed
Astronomical
Clock
and
possibly
having
the
best
views
in
Prague.
The
Old
Town
Hall
was
at
the
heart
of
the
politics
of
the
city
of
Prague
throughout
the
medieval
period.
If
you
enter
you
can
ascend
for
free
up
a
number
of
levels
before
paying
to
see
the
interior
of
the
hall.
This
has
a
chapel,
wherein
you
can
see
part
of
the
back
of
the
mechanism
of
the
astronomical
clock
(the
rotating
apostles
who
appear
at
the
window).
After
seeing
this
you
can
see
the
old
halls
of
judgement,
some
of
which
are
still
currently
used
for
state
functions.
After
seeing
the
hall
you
can
ascend
the
tower.
There
are
gently
sloping
walkways,
but
for
those
who
are
worried
about
heights
or
who
just
prefer
faster
ascents,
there
is
an
elevator
that
goes
straight
to
the
top.
The
top
of
the
tower
is
enclosed
in
glass,
but
you
can
walk
outside
and
take
pictures,
although
those
who
are
worried
about
heights
may
find
the
experience
a
little
nerve-wracking
(it
is
perfectly
safe
though).
This
tower
has
what
are
possibly
the
best
views
of
all
of
Prague
and
the
hall
and
tower
are
a
must-see
if
one
wishes
to
see
the
Old
Town
from
above.
