(Translated by Google) Romanesque style and brick blocks both connected to each other with a spire tower come from II. Age XII. The Renaissance reconstruction of the tower had a place in 1591, Gothic blanks remained represented by Renaissance figures, and the elevation was decorated with a sgraffito block. The tower has three floors and a height of 30 meters. The gate connecting the two towers was probably built during the reign of King Wenceslas IV. On the tower there is the possibility of entering for a fee, and from the mountain there is a nice view on the floating Wełtawa. The Charles Bridge is connected by two bridge towers - the Lesser Town Bridge Tower serving as the entrance to Malá Strana neighbourhood while the Old Town Bridge Tower as the entrance to the Old Town.

Beautiful view! Go there in the evening, first: fewer people and second it's even a greater experience to see this great city at night. The view from the top is magnificent - a must see in Prague.

A great Gothic tower with spectacular views The Gothic tower at the Lesser Town side of Charles Bridge can be entered for a fee. This allows you to climb up to the ledge above the gate and then up some further stories to the top of the tower, where there are some magnificent views of the city. It is very nice in the evening time, when the sun is setting behind the hills to the east and the Charles Bridge is illuminated in the evening light.

I would say there are of two towers which are call in English Lesser Town Bridge Towers. In Czech Malostranské Mostecké Věže. To get there you can start off from the Tram Stop Malostranské Náměstí. Then walk backwards opposite direction of the tram. Take first Street left and that street will led you to the Lesser Town Bridge Towers and through them walk on the Charles Bridge and enjoy the views from the bridge or from one of the biger tower when you get in of one of this tower there. Although I like the view from the Charles's Bridge on those two towers when behind them from some point can see also the Prague Castle which is sitting up on the Hill. These two towers are also the gate get into the old Prague square and astronomical clocks and then can walk further on the Prague Castle. Wish to all good time staying Around these beatiful historical places.

Views for miles without the masses (at least when we went Nov 11) Steeper stairs (over a hundred) but absolutely worth it. Got some great pics. Loved it!

These two stylistically different towers, connected by a gate, form the entrance to the Lesser Town from the Charles Bridge. The smaller tower is Romanesque, dating from the 12th century; its current Renaissance appearance dates to 1591. The taller Late Gothic tower from 1464 is based on the architecture of Parléř's Old Town Bridge Tower. From its viewing gallery, you get a stunning view of the flowing Vltava River and the historical city centre. The view is better here than the old town bridge

Lesser Town Bridge Tower is situated at one end of Charles Bridge. The tower was built under the rule of King George of Podebrady in the second half of the 15th century to replace an earlier Romanesque tower. The model for its construction was the Old Town Bridge Tower sited at the other end of Charles Bridge, which was constructed earlier. The Lesser Town Bridge Tower is 43.5m high and is a rare surviving example in Prague of the post-Hussite Gothic style. Connected to the Lesser Town Bridge Tower by a walkway is the smaller Judith's Tower. This is the only remaining part of the original Prague crossing, Judith's Bridge, which was destroyed by floods in 1342, and subsequently replaced by Charles Bridge. Inside the Lesser Town Bridge Tower is an exhibition dedicated to the eventful history of Charles Bridge, and don't miss the panoramic views towards Lesser town and Charles Bridge! (cost 90 CZK). Closest Tram stop is Malostranske namesti, lines 12, 15, 20, 22.

There are two towers at the Mala Strana end of the Charles Bridge, one is Romanesque the other is Gothic. Both are nice landmarks that should be seen. I didn't have the time to go up but people say that the view is amazing.

Amazing views from the top. Significant amount of steps to climb. 250 crown per person. 5-year-olds and below are free. The entrance is the small door on the right as you're walking through from the bridge side. When you first pay and start your way up there is an intermediate level that you can explore but I would suggest continuing all the way to the top first and then come down later and do the lower level.

The tower itself gives a fantastic view. The cashiers are though a bit scammy. When the signs clearly shows you can pay with credit card for a decent exchange rate, the staff was refusing to let us pay with any cards, even charged 1 eur per person more than the actual price, 5 eur for 100 CZK and refuse to give any receipt. You could see the two cashier on the pictures. Post if you have experienced something similar.

The higher of both towers standing on the Vltava River in the Lesser Town is the youngest part of the entire Charles Bridge. It was built after 1464 at the expense of Czech King Jiří of Poděbrady on the site of the older Romanesque tower, which was built together with the lower tower. Its shape probably follows on from the concept of Parler's Old Town Bridge Towers, standing at the opposite end of the Charles Bridge, and is a precious building monument of the Prague Pohutu Gothic. Together with the smaller and older towers, they protected the gate that entered the Lesser Quarter. The building served as a warehouse and a fire alarm. The height of the tower is 43.5 m, the gallery was founded at a height of 26 m. Originally, it was supposed to have a rich sculptural decoration, but the niches for the placement of statues remained empty.

We went there right after it was open for the day and got two for the price of one offer. Nice suprise. It also wasn’t crowded so we could really look around the tower and the views from the tower bridge and the upper viewing balcony.

This is the tower where the Charles Bridge starts and a must see place in Prague as well. You can enter the tower and have a view from it but actually don’t miss the local small market organized underneath the tower.

Tall tower overseeing the nearby Charles Bridge, perhaps the most crowded landmark in Prague. Tickets are cheap, however the climb (147 steps, the majority of which were narrow and steep) combined with the near-medieval design of the staircase (minimal handholds and circling shape) might put you off. People prone to vertigo attacks will want to avoid this place; if the climb doesn't deter you, a breath-taking view of Prague in the four cardinal directions (with helpful plaques indicating what is in view on each direction) can be had here.

An easy-to-miss location with a great view of the city (though there are many old towers in central praha with good vista) - that does not require a detour from the most frequented tourists routes. Can't recall the admission fee but it is quite reasonable, and may be included in the praha visitor pass if you happen to have bought into one of those all-inclusive deals.

Tag 2 in Prag ! Wer Prag besuchen will sollte mehrere Tage einplanen. Also...Zeit mitbringen...selber erleben und erkunden.

The tower on one side of Charles Bridge. It leads to the main road that goes up to Prague Castle. The tower doesn't look as nice as the Old Town Bridge tower. It seems a lot more cramped and a lot less design.

The only way is up! This is another tower you should climb to enjoy the views of Prague. This is a tougher climb than that of the Old Town Bridge especially at the end. The wooden steps are small and the path to the top is narrower. It’s like a little adventure. When you reach up, you will enjoy the views of the rooftops of the houses and buildings in the area as well as the Charles Bridge and the Vtlava River.

A hidden gem that we found by accident. So many thousands of people walk past but so few go inside. A very steep and scary staircase to navigate which is a feature in itself, but the views of the bridge and castle from the top is worth it. Lady on the pay till couldn't have been nicer, we felt very welcomed. Would visit again.
