Very bad experience happened to us! 1) we checked in online, when we arrived they said we did not check in, the girl could not even find our booking for some time … after we told we have to wait 1 hour cause we asked room with castle view or if we want to have river view we can check in now. We decided to wait. So as room is ready they will call us. 2) after 1,5 hours nobody called us and we came back and they gave us a room without castle view with 2 beds, while we booked 1 double bed … we complained and they changed the room for castle view but with construction going on in front of the window… and they claimed that they offered river view to avoid noise… so why didn’t you tell us there is a construction in the first place and made us wait for 1 hour?! It’s what should be told on the first place! 3) upon check in they also said they need to charge our card for 100€ in case we use any extra services, when we didn’t not agree they said it’s normal practice in all Europe… excuse me? I traveled 40 countries and never had that kind of charge in advance. It’s normally done while check out! 4) the staff instead of apologizing were quite arrogant and we felt like we were bad costumers, not they gave us a very bed service ! This is not 5* hotel service!!! DO NOT recommend !

Tip: go for river view or corner view higher floor room (Castle view has a view of construction). Adriana at the reception was super helpful and kind. The hotel is after renovation so rooms were clean and modern, the bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast was okay, huge variety, but not everything was tasty. A few things that are in my opinion not acceptable in a 5* property: - upon check-in they demand to hold 100€ on your credit card -no restaurant currently open - difficult to find parking when you arrive -the rooms are equipped with one chair only (we asked for extra chairs, but never received them) - mattresses felt cheap - very dirty windows from outside so you can't enjoy the view - Only one complimentary bottle of water in a room for 2 people Spa -no sheets available at 8pm -No staff to welcome guests and show them around -No handles when entering pool--safety hazard! -No singages to mark pool entry -Lack of infused water (A water dispenser half full was taken away half an hour before closing by staff (probably so people would leave by 9pm if they didn't have water).

Exceptional location and great service, the staff was very kind and helpful, we initially had air conditioning issue in our room but they checked and changed our room almost immediately, the food was great as well. Definitely recommend staying here.

NOT Accommodating!! They don’t let you check in early at all, unless you pay for the extra time, which was not like any other hotel I was at, The hotel is very nice, We came to our room and it was very hot, and you are not able to change the temperature, Spa is nice but closes way to early, Besides that it’s a nice place And castle view is not good

It is the second time my wife and i visit Prague and we have stayed in The President hotel on both occasions. We love the hotel. In special due to its clean, spacious rooms, the breakfast quality and the excellent personal service. i would name some of the staff that attended us with care: Natalia in the bar service, Bara Jahodova in reception and the manager Marketa. No doubt we will come back to The President.

I have been dealing with management of the hotel President during our fillm shooting of The Gray Man in Prague and I couldnt be more than happy with outcome. After that I wanted to know if the hotel is as good as the people working there. I was more than satisfied. Luxury rooms with beautiful views. very relaxing spa, big sauna, comfortable and very nice sky bar, amazing and helpful staff and management, and the best location in Prague for tourists.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city within 10 mins walk of the old town. Friendly staff always happy to help and easy to check in and out. Negatives were: 1: (not the hotels fault the first one) the building works going on next door - meant we couldn’t leave the window open as the noise level was typical building work noise all during daylight hours. 2. The room was unusually warm. We went in November and although you’d always want a nice cosy room, this was far too hot. Sleeping wasn’t easy because of this. The aircon was rubbish - during winter it apparently just shoots out hot air (was advised this upon query by the reception staff) so the room was constantly too hot. 3. The bed was a firm firm bed. Although everyone is different when it comes to type of beds, this was too hard for me personally. Overall though, a great hotel, even with the above negatives, I’d still highly recommend for a couple of nights away. We stayed in the junior suite. The room was decent, plenty of amenities..bath could’ve been bigger, but otherwise very lovely

This is a very big hotel with plenty of rooms for the guests. The hotel is behind the river Vltava and the view is gorgeous, but near was reconstruction so we saw it too. The room are not big, but not so small. Just clean and light. The service are attentive and friendly.

We stayed here for 5 days. The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance to all the old town and a nice stroll to the Prague Castle. The room was nice, spacious with a good shower. Staff were excellent. The breakfast was also excellent but don’t hang around the restaurant as it finishes promptly. The TV lacked many English channels such as CNN, France 24 and TRT.

Brilliant service. Individual approach. Especially the director of the central reservation department, 10/10. Great location. Rooms very comfortable, well-equipped. Great seats on the windowsills combined with a view of Prague Castle or the river. A very large selection of delicious food for breakfast. Wellness very clean and beautifully designed. I highly recommend hot oil massage. Great bar on the top floor + cool DJ :). 10/10!

Beautiful hotel!! Highly recommend. This place is stunning, it’s quiet, the staff are friendly and helpful, the spa is lush and the location is perfect. We booked a junior suite and it was really spacious for a couple. The amenities in the room are excellent, robes and slippers, great toilettes and everything. You would need.

I’m being a little harsh with this review because this is a “5 star hotel,” and, after staying in different 5 stars hotels across Europe, it’s hard not to compare. You can tell that there’s a limited number of staff working here because there’s not a lot of rotation of people. What does that mean to you, future guest? It means that you may arrive at the hotel and carry all your bags upstairs towards the lobby by yourself because there is no ramp and no one to help you out. As soon as you walk in, you smell a strong fragrance of some sort of cologne. It wouldn’t bother me as much if it weren’t so strong, but it’s overpowering. The front desk receptionists are not too friendly, but it’s okay. Even though you book your room directly at their website, you’ll have to fill out a form with your personal information, which is ok, but quite inconvenient because, remember, it’s a 5 star hotel. There are two elevators, but they don’t quite go to the same floor. They never tell you that, but you figure out after taking the one that doesn’t go to your room. During my stay, one of the elevators broke, which is weird for a relatively new hotel. Your room key may or may not work. I suggest getting the hotel two keys because you don’t wanna get stuck out of your room every time you go out. The room is nice. It’s pretty big for an old city. Besides the bathroom, the room is all carpeted, which I’m not a big fan of. It is spotless, though, and has a strong fake fragrance, but you get used to it. The bed is comfortable, the pillows are not bad. However, every time you take a shower, the bathroom floor will be soaked. The bath window that is supposed to block water from leaking doesn’t do its job, so you’ll have water over the floor. The windows are not sound-proof, so you hear automobiles running through the streets (and people screaming) all night long. I did get a room with a view of Prague Castle, and that was cool. There is no gym, and I didn’t check their spa, so I can’t comment. Overall, it’s an OK hotel. For the price, and for being 5 star hotel, I think that there are better options right in Old Town that will make your stay more pleasant and worth the money.

Had a comfortable stay here for a week at the end of November. The rooms are spacious but a bit overheated and the bathroom is tiny! Location wise it’s perfect, walking distance to old town and I even walked back from the castle! Staff is superb, every member was welcoming and super efficient. A special mention goes out to Kate, she gave us the best advice about restaurants and any queries we had were answered efficiently and with smiles!!!

Amazing hotel. Stayed there last week week with a friend. First, the location is great, a few minutes walk to the central square. The rooms are very specious, the spa is amazing and free! the breakfast is also great with a wide variety of choices. Lastly, the service is AMAZING. I would like to specifically point out Marketa from the front desk and Margarita from the Breakfast service. They both went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Thank you!

Couldn't be happier about our experience in the President Hotel Prague. For us as a couple, this stay was intended to be our relaxation day to the end of our journey here. It began early morning with super friendly receptionist welcoming us. Got us sorted with our booked room and amazing views straight out of bed or from the benches right on the window front. We could even check in earlier than supposed to, which of course was not necessary but so much appreciated. 100€ Deposit upfront, just to note. Rooms are super clean and with very modern assembled furniture, decoration and details all around the hotel. Since we've made our booking with Sauna, Pool and breakfast include, we got to convince ourselves fully about the facilities of the hotel. The Spa area was a bit different than expected since I hoped there was a warm water pool available as well. Unfortunately wasn't but no point for us to complain at all, since we could have done our own research or just ask politely in advance. Everything clean and hygienic standards have been set high as far as we could tell. You'll find a super comfortable robe up on the room to dive into the underground Spa with availability to book massage etc. Fresh towels and sheets were provided. Seemed like swimwear is allowed in sauna and steam sauna. The breakfast was overwhelming, probably the best we've ever come by in many years of travel and trying the services of many different hotels. Definitely a one of a kind stay for us! The combination of excellent location, outstanding service by the always smiling staff member, facilities and breakfast made our stay just perfect! 6 Stars if it was possible and we would come again. Thanks again for everything!

Our stay at the President was wonderful. The rooms are well laid out with lots of space. Bed was comfortable and large bathroom. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting Natalie at the bar/restaurant who was absolutely wonderful and kind. Reception and room service was also excellent. Location is also very convenient with just a short walk to the old town square. Couldn’t be more pleased with our stay here. We will certainly be back!

We stayed in this hotel for three nights after we had to leave another hotel in the city due to unbearable construction sites. The hotel is well situated and most of the sights are reachable in walking distance. The rooms were nicely furnished and well equipped. We took a superior room with river view. They have also a wellness area which is nice for a city hotel. Another highlight of this hotel is the staff. Each of them is very attentive and doing a great job. We felt definitely very welcomed and would come back!

We loved this hotel so much! The renovations recently made was stunning. Lovely clean and good sized room. The spa was great and location can't be better. Close to the city center but in a calmer area with good range of restaurants and walking distance to everything. Very helpeful staff. Highely recomend and will visist again.

I have spent 3 nights in the hotel. The staff are very friendly and they speak goof English. The room is super clean. They provide Nespresso coffee machine in the room 😎☕️ the view of my room is the Vltava river. the breakfast is average. The location of the hotel is close to the Prague Astronomical Clock; almost 3 minutes by walk. I highly recommend it.

My adorable wife and I spent a couple of nights at The President for my birthday. Our stay was just perfect, excellent from the minute we arrived! Our room 401 was beautiful with a magnificent view over the river. The staff was super friendly and really went that extra mile to make us feel special. The location was very good, breakfast was 5-star, sky bar was amazing, well I could go on for ever... On the behalf of my wife and me I'd like to thank The President for making our stay so memorable. We've already decided to come back!
