We stayed here for three nights of our week-long trip to Europe. It is an old hotel, needs to be renewed, and wireless internet connection is problematic. Having a metro station nearby may be one of its advantages.

Good value for money. Nicely refurbished room and bathroom. Had a corner room so it was not so loud. Breakfast could be improved, small and crowded space, large tables (so you have to share table) and the line to the buffet is long. Metro, tram and bus stops are 5 min walk from the hotel.

I have not used the hotel, only visited the restaurant and presentation room. The buiding, furnishings and everything about this place gives off very communistic vibes. Priced below average, the food and services were below average as well. Presentation room has preserved the original seating, which is not very comfortable and you can feel your seat shaking if somebody is moving a couple seats away. Could be great to visit if you are seeking the feel of that spefific era in history. Personally, I am not a fan.

This hostel is like a time capsule from deep 1980s. Also when it comes to the demographics. However it's very well priced and close to the ariport so I've been coming here regularly for years. It's a whole vibe but I would recommend it

Hi. I'd like to share my experience with this hotel. I'm Ukrainian whose son is a student in Prague. I came to Prague to visit him after 17 months of departure as he left at the age of 17 due to the war. My son booked the hotel for my mother, my daughter and me for three days in August 16-18, 2023, and confused the month. When we arrived, we were shocked to realise that the hotel was booked for 16-18 September. After 30 hours on the bus, my mum who's nearly 70 was exhausted to say the least. The airports don't work in Ukraine as you may know. OK, it is our fault, and from what I see nobody is going to return the money despite the fact there is a month ahead. But the hotel didn't even answer my email and they didn't do anything for us, even the most elementary thing like a glass of water for my mother. We just left to find another place not to sleep in the street. Luckily, we found it.

Hotel Krystal more like Hotel KrySteal On my last day here i went to breakfast with my luggage and someone took me to a place intituled luggage room and i was very happy to have a place to let my luggage till i eat. The guy had a key for the room so i said “yes is safe”. After i ate and took my luggage out i found out that my powerbank and some money wasnt there anymore. I went to the reception, they say its not their responsability even if he has a key bc other people has a key for this room. I mention that i stayed like 20-25 min to eat. So basically they say they lock that room but someone from their personal can come anytime to steal things and this is not their problem. My bad i thought they have good intentions. About the room, the glasses wasnt clean, they didnt clean the room after we leave, just make bed a little and take the trash can, not towel changing not anything, i wonder why they even come.

First impression of this hotel was normal, rooms are spacious and light, but then I was faced with unpleasant service and not client oriented staff. Facilities. Staying for a long time here,I asked the kettle and iron. The answer was, that they don’t have kettles and irons for a room. If you need hot water, you have to go downstairs and ask there for a cup of water. Though some of staff ask to pay 10 crowns by cash for it. The iron is in the special ironing room on the 13-th floor. You can’t get this room easily, because it is closed and you have to call to the reception all the time for opening the door. This room works till 8 pm and if you want to iron something later, you don’t have such opportunity, it is your problem. Cleaning is making only partly: rubbish is staying for some days, the bed sheets nobody has changed more than for a week… Food. Food in the restaurant is poor, it is not changing. Every day the variety of dishes is the same: scrambled eggs, sausages, bred, cheese, ham, butter, a plate of green salad and some fruits, flakes, tea, coffee… The staff on reception is unpleasant, but housekeepers are kind and patient though don’t do their work completely.
