We highly advise not to sleep in this hotel when the temperature is hot. My girlfriend and I spent a few nights at the Botel to visit Praha. However, we came in the summer and the temperature in the room was too hot to sleep as there is no AC (we only realized that when we arrived). Normally, we would just solve this by opening a window. However, this is not possible at the Botel, as there is a lot of noise coming from nearby bars until at least 2am. So when it is hot, it is simply not possible to sleep at this hotel before 2am. I therefore highly advise not to book rooms at the Botel when it is hot. Also, the rooms are quite small.

Cosy boat-hotel. Nice facillities, friendly and service minded staff and in the Cabtains Club, excellent food, well made and carefully served. Price level is medium. The place is worthy for accomodation on a full Praha trip.

We loved staying at the Admiral. We had never stayed at a boat hotel before and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The admiral is cozy and filled with small details that add elegance and wonderful atmosphere. All of the staff were always very friendly and helpful. Service is 5 stars. The breakfast buffet is high quality with plenty to choose from. It was very different from a typical American breakfast and we made some excellent food discoveries. We even recreated a little bit of the breakfast once we got home. This is a boat. The rooms are small and so is the shower. It's a boat. The beds could have a thicker mattress for us soft Americans but that's the only complaint that I have. If possible, get a room on the river side. The view in the morning with the rising sun, ducks, geese, and rowers is really nice. We hope to visit Prague again and I would love to stay at the Admiral again.

Very climatic place, very friendly service - both at the reception and in the restaurant. Dog loving place - dogs allowed and spoiled everywhere :) We enjoyed our stay very much :) Room - understandably - small, but comfortable - big bed, bathroom with shower - so everything we needed. Can be quite hot during summer (no AC), but managable. The only downside was some boat pipe attached outside the window, on the water surface - making noises all the time, during day not relevant, but at night one can have difficulty sleeping with it...

The interior of this botel is stunning, however, the food was really bad. I ordered the Coq au vin and it was so rubbery that I struggled to cut or eat it. It is a shame seeing that I looked forward to this meal and expected the food to be of good quality seeing that the prices are high. I was very dissapointed with this.

The botel itself and its decoration/vibe overall is really nice. The room was okay. It didn't have a safe, a fridge or a hairdryer. The bed was kinda hard. Overall a pleasant stay, especially if you want to try the botel experience.

No wifi in the rooms, which was not mentioned on Booking; rooms quite small, but clean; personal very polite and kind, offered us an umbrella as it was raining outside. Good food at breakfast

We arrived and were greeted by a very welcoming receptionist who was very helpful, he provided us with leaflets and was there to answer any questions, a very nice gentleman. Location wise it is quite a walk from old town square albeit that was my fault for booking so far out however taxis are cheap and you can use scooters. Food wise, lunch and dinner quality is 10/10, it was the best meal we've ever had at a very fair price. The breakfast we did not enjoy but it is free so it is hard to complain. The service in the restaurant could not be anymore different, extremely poor. We were harrased by a male waiter for 10% tip (which in the end I didn't give him, instead only 5%) who highlighted 3 times in the space of 1 minute that it is compulsory (its not) Other waiters and waitresses made no welcome and very little to no talk. In one instance when we paid for a meal which came to 1300 CZK, we only had notes for 1500 CZK and when we handed this to the waiter, he said goodbye and walked off with all our cash (including the 200 extra which he obviously took as a tip) I have to be honest, I believe that because we were American & British, we were being taken advantage of at this restaurant on the 3 occasions we ate/drank here because they believe we are well off (we're not) Lastly, the room is good for the price, my only notes would be the beds are very hard and it gets very very hot so be aware you'll need the window open 24/7. The views are spectacular. Overall we would stay again but not dine at the restaurant and that is a shame as the food was incredible but the worst service I have ever received.

The bright line of white lights on top of the boat ruins the ambiance of the otherwise beautiful riverside. Please don't support this ugliness by giving them your money.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the extraordinary „botel“, and it was an experience beyond compare! The first thing that struck me was the impeccable service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From the concierge to the housekeeping, everyone seemed genuinely invested in creating a memorable stay. The accommodations were nothing short of remarkable. My room boasted stunning views of the sparkling river, with large windows that allowed the natural light to flood in. The attention to detail in the design was impeccable, blending modern amenities with a nautical touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful sleep every night. The culinary experience aboard the boat was simply exquisite. Overall, my stay at this „botel“ was an absolute dream come true. The level of luxury, combined with the unique experience of being surrounded by the tranquil water, created an unforgettable vacation. If you're seeking a truly extraordinary getaway that combines elegance, comfort, and adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend this remarkable „botel“. Prepare to be pampered and enchanted as you embark on an exceptional journey that will leave you with memories to treasure for a lifetime.

We stayed one night in the botel. We had an excellent experience, really a thing to do. The staff was really kind and helpful. We could park the car really easily in the parking of the hotel. The place is really cool, you really feel that you are in a vintage ship and that you traveled in time. The breakfast was good. A little downside is the beds, which weren’t really comfortable. Otherwise the quality price ratio was excellent. 100% recommended.

The old ship turned into a hotel. There are many stairs on the only entrance. No one is available to help you with your luggage through all the steps. The only employee at the reception is not welcoming and also no mask. Very small rooms. Dark and non breathable air flow. We found a window to open. Very small bathroom. No service like tea/ water / coffee is available in the room. The restaurant is good with fantastic service. Breakfast is included. Not very fancy but fair. The day time receptionist lady is nice and warm. Very helpful. If you are over fifty for sure do not go here🫣😹 No internet in the room. Just in the restaurant or public sitting areas.

We stay here from 24 till 28 December 2022. We had a family apartment. The beds were not so good. The rest was good. The service at the reception ( Tony) was amazing. He arranged our table booking for 4 evenings in the restaurant. About the restaurant, this is super. Great memu and verry nice prepared food👍👍👍👍👍. The Staff in the restaurant was also verry friendly snd helpfull. We can recommend this hotel and the restaurant. The restuarant gets 5 stars and the hotel 3. So we give 4 in total

A very nice place to spend some nights in the center of Prague. Prices are very good (at least in the beginning of November), people were super friendly and requests were always met positively. The bathrooms need a bit of refurbishment.

Great location, free parking and they accept dogs like so many places in Prague. Free parking outside the boat and staff are super friendly

It was disaster. At first internet was just on reception. It was very very very loud. I heard with earplugs everything what is happening outside my room. I heard how people are talking, do pee. I heard how people r very loud walking on second floor. Night courtains was white, so i woke up with the sun in very early morning. Shower is very old and with mold. I saw it when I came so i went to the city sauna to take a shower, because I didnt want to go this shower at the morning. Shower gel was just half (it was the same tube from other client who didnt used everything). TV is very very small and just with 14 Channel. Bed are not comfortably. Breakfast was so so. Just the bread was old and not tasty. I think it was czech's croissants. I missed original croissants. This hotel its too expensive for what i get. Its like cheap hostel. Never ever again!

What made the biggest impression on us was the service that was super kind and customer-oriented. We came to Prague for our friends’s wedding which was supposed to start at 2 PM and the check-in usually starts exactly at 2 PM. We wanted to come to the Botel earlier to leave our luggage. We were informed via email that we could leave it in the luggage room, but upon our arrival we learnt that our cabin was ready earlier, which really made our lives easier. The cabin was also of the good standard - it was very nice, clean and had a good view of the Vltava river. The interiors of the ship had the Titanic vibe. Concerning Wi-Fi, I checked and could not find the network but I have to admit that I did not investigate the issue any further as we were there for 1 night only and did not really have time to use it. I kept using my own Internet. The breakfast was nice and included in our accommodation fee. In the evening you can go up on the board and eat a dinner (note that the restaurant closes at 11 PM) or just go there for some drinks or a glass of wine. I loved our stay in a Botel - not only because it was an interesting alternative to a regular hotel, but also because of the super professional service that made an impression of truly caring about their customers.

What a great place to stay! A ship serving as a hotel since 1971, wonderfully decorated and maintained with a lot of love and respect. Every member of the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in the well-being of each of their guests. We felt welcome from the moment we made the booking directly over the phone until we left a couple of days later feeling as members of the crew ;) Knowing this wonderful place to stay makes us plan our next visit to Prage already!

We spent 2 nights in Botel Admiral and it was absolutely amazing! If you want to experience life on a boat - this is your place. The atmosphere was fantastic. The staff was very friendly even when they were really tired. Everyone spoke English and German, we had no problems with communication. The room was small but cozy, very clean. Towels, shower gel, shampoo and soap were provided. Breakfast was included - it was tasty and typical for a hotel. There is a free parking near the boat but the place is not guaranteed - regardless we had no problem with parking. We also had a drink in the evening in the bar area - 165 Kč for Long Island and 165 Kč for Mai Tai. I will definitely visit Botel Admiral again!
