We arrived to a room that was in need of care and looking after, the paint was coming off the walls , the curtains didn’t keep any light out , the doors on wardrobes were damaged and the room was very dusty. The next morning breakfast was very poor very minimal choices and the staff wasn’t very welcoming . After breakfast we went to get showered and ready for the day and there was no water and when it came back it was brown water . After this we decided to leave and complain about the hotel standard and the response we received was ‘ you booked the worst hotel in Prague what did you expect’

Cozy and clean rooms with a nice shower. In my opinion the beds could be a little softer. The breakfast was okay and the staff was helpful. The location was really quiet with some restaurants and bars around. It's about 15 minutes with the tram to the city center. All in all I can recommend this hotel.

I wish I could rate this hotel a 0 !!! First of all, nobody at the hotel speaks any English. That would have been fine, if the receptionist didn't ask us if we spoke RUSSIAN! Russian, you guys ... in the middle of Europe, they asked us if we spoke Russian. They don't speak English, so they cannot and honestly don't help you with anything. Second of all, the room was absolutely horrendous. The bed was terrible, you couldn't sleep in it without waking up the next day with terrible neck and back pain. The toiled wasn't working and flushing properly. The furniture looked ancient and really low-quality. The breakfast was below average. Nothing special, everything - tasteless. And finally, let me tell you about the rudest service from the owners of the hotel (I assume, we actually never met him, only spoke with him on the phone). We arrived in Prague at midnight, 00:30, had just entered the country and of course, we didn't have local phone numbers at that time (we had internet tho). The hotel was closed and nobody was in the reception. Our tourist company that booked our trip said that the hotel didn't have any warnings about late-night check-in on their booking, so she assumed we would be let in without problems. On the contrary ... we were standing outside of the hotel, with 20kg backpacks, in the freezing cold, buzzing the reception for like 20 minutes. After much knocking and buzzing the buzzer, I think one of the guests heard us from the inside and they must have called the owner and we finally got buzzed in. The owner called the reception phone right after we got buzzed in and I answered it .... when I tell you, how rude, ignorant, and absolutely unwelcoming that guy was ... the worst attitude! he kept screaming over the phone "why are you knocking on the door, why didn't you call me, do you know what time it is?". Even if he was right and let's say we were in a complete wrong, is that how a hotel owner/manager/receptionist should welcome new guests? These guys are just the WORST. I understand that this is a cheap hotel and you shouldn't be expecting any luxury, still, how about a basic hotel decency that's necessary for a person to feel when they are staying in a foreign country? If we weren't on a budget and this wasn't my last stop of my vacation, i would have stormed out of there. It sincerely was the absolute WORST hotel I have ever stayed in with horrible rooms and even worse personnel. If I could rate this hotel a 0, i would. I am just honestly rating its location as decent. There was nothing and i mean it - NOTHING else good about this horrible experience. Hotel Olga owner, before you come after my review (as I have seen you do with other bad reviews) just re-read it and try to objectively see how I could have gotten such horrendous experience at your hotel. It doesn't matter that your hotel is cheap, it should have some quality anyway! Please do better!

Broken fittings. Wires hanging out of wall. Noisy. Rooms poor small and only 1 chair. Breakfast vile. Restaurant is box in basement hot and smelly tiles in bathroom chipped and filthy. Staff u helpful. I cannot tell you how vile and dishevelled this place is. My ad ice don't. Pictures on website clearly photo shopped.

I am not happy AT ALL. The first call made with then, I was answered with arrogance, ignorance, and sarcasm. As the reception didn't receive my booking confirmation the receptionist was REALLY RUDE when I asked how could I sort out the problem. I deal with clients every day and I know how hard it is to keep the things placidly, but these employees are not too much worried about that! They are really rude!!!!

Basic *** hotel. 3,5km walk to city, tram 6 and 17 very near. Tickets can be bought at reception. 4 person room is big enough, clean, little TV, WC and shower in separate rooms. We like. Room and breakfast are good for this price.

This is a place you go to if your standard is "I don't want cockroaches under my bed". We arrived at 5 pm and no one was at the desk. We had to call the emergency number, and a man told us very rudely to keep ringing. After 10 minutes or so, a woman finally shows up to her job. We immediately get asked to pay a 2€ per person city tax, per night. A quick Google research showed me the tax was 0,60€ per person, but I had a whole week to stay and I decided to let it slide. The room is furnished with old Ikea stuff. In the 7 nights me and my family were there, we had to ask for clean towels after 4 days, because they'd just fold the ones we had already used, with mascara stains and all. The first night I put my beauty blender on the bathroom shelf and left a bit of make up on it. That stain on the shelf greeted me at the hotel for the entire week, as our room was cleaned exactly once in 7 nights, if you consider quick vacuuming cleaning. There was mold and hair on the soap we were graciously provided with. I had ham and cheese for breakfast for the entire week, because nothing else looked appetizing: the frosting on the stale, sad cupcakes we were offered was barely holding itself up. We had to put our dishes back on a white shelf by ourselves. The staff treats you like you're a great inconvenience to their day, and the lady at the desk gave us the wrong tramrail number to come back at the hotel. Every morning, in spite of having no more than 20 guests on their busies day, we were asked very aggressively which room we were in. I'm really sorry for having stayed so long in your business, I PROMISE that's never happening again. We paid 580€ for this stay, 7 nights for three people. I had found a cheaper hotel, but sadly it didn't have a room available for the whole week. I regret not booking a hostel, that would maybe have been cleaner. Being a cheap hotel doesn't mean you shouldn't even vacuum the guests' room and give clean towels, and a smile and welcoming attitude cost exactly 0 crowns. The only good thing about this hotel is that it's really near to the city center. Definitely not coming back, and there's not enough reasons to say you should book here.

It's a very simple and clean spot to stay if you don't want spend loads of money to sleep. The staff it's helpful and nice. The room's are very clean and warmth. You can experience an quiet environment. Obviously you don't have a room service but if you just need a good spot to stay it's perfectly safe and comfortable but simple hotel!!

Quiet neighborhood, not too close to the Old Town Square, but very well connected with public transport. Also it's close to the Prague main station, which is convenient when traveling. They're very family friendly, have a tasty healthy breakfast and the staff are motivated and helpful. We enjoyed a clean room, free WiFi and they even have an elevator (which is super helpful with lots of luggage and not a given in old buildings).

Very simple and nice hotel, very close to the city center and the main attractions of the city. The lady at the reception is very nice, and she was happy to see my effort to speak a bit of czech (I'm italian) :).

It is what it is - a cheap hotel with minimalistic rooms. The room was super clean and nice. Service was really helpful. Breakfast is subpar at best, it needs just a tad bit more effort. But again, you get exactly what u bargain for. A cheap, clean place to stay with a great location.

very nice hotel both inside and out. the lady at the reception is very kind and nice. breakfast offers many choices and has flexible hours. the rooms are normal and the hot water in the shower comes right away. the room service is exceptional (every day or new towels, and the sheets were put right. Hotel also very close to transport stops that allow you to get to the center in 10 minutes or otherwise in 30 minutes of walking. nice hotel, ve I advise

To say I’m excited to write this review is an understatement. I haven’t come across a worse hotel in Europe, and it wasn’t the hotel- it was the staff. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with arrogance, ignorance and sarcasm. Breakfast included, which was good for what you pay, however when in the restaurant I was made to empty my pockets because staff believed I had taken something to leave the restaurant with. Nothing but an unwelcome feeling everytime I was in the hotel. Staff need to learn how to actually greet and welcome their guests, not accuse and be blatantly rude to visitors. It’s a hotel, and you work there, learn some proper manners and behaviour if you want good reviews. I’ve informed multiple people of the disrespect of the staff and to not book at this hotel. By the looks of the replies from staff to people who have also complained, it seems my statements aren’t false. Thank you for an interesting experience :-). R.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Olga, it exceeded our expectations by far. We read the other reviews the day before we were set to leave for Prague, these made us very sceptical of where we were staying for the next two nights. We were greeted very warmly as we arrived on thursday night by the staff. The room was clean and warm, basic but perfect for what we needed. Based on the reviews, we were expecting a very basic breakfast but were pleasantly surprised, much more food than expected and all of good quality! We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Olga and would really recommend to any couples or families looking for a cheap stay close to the centre of Prague. Extra thanks to the staff for letting us leave our bags so long after our checkout time.

I don't recommend the place. The place is old and cheap. The building is old and it really needs to be renewed. The doors are thin, so in the morning you can hear all the people coming and leaving. In the room, the power plugs are in hard to reach places and some of them damaged. The light interruptors are also located in wierd places. Despite it claims to have WiFi, it should be dial up from 1991 because it can hardly open a web site or sends an email. The breakfast is not good neither. Both the coffee and the juice are heavily diluted in water. It is not Possible to toast the bread (if there is a toaster I can't find it). The staff really tryed its best and the room is clean, but the place these facts don't compensate all the weak points. It is say is a 3 star hotel, I don't think it can even reach one.

Friendly stuff, a little old equipment, the breakfast was all right. Basically it's a simple cheap option, if you don't have big needs. The thicker curtain still let some lights in from the street, which can be a problem if someone doesn't sleep well. The receptionists were kind and helpful.

Too bad, everything in it is old and the pillows are almost non-existent. I suffered from neck pain because of it I would never recommend it to anyone
