Prague is one of the best cities in the world for vegan restaurants, but one oddity is that most of these places don't serve a lot of fresh vegetables. I can only eat so many veggieburgers and vegan pizzas before I need a huge serving of vegetables, so I find myself walking over to BistRAW at least three times a week. Considering the freshness, quality, and portion sizes this place is an absolute steal. The owner has been there every time I've visited and he keeps the place immaculate. It's a beautiful building, too. Walk down the spiral staircase to wash your hands in the restroom so you can check out the cavernous basement. Plenty of nice indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend the massive salads, and I'm a big fan of the poppy seed rolls and the apple strudel too. I'm so grateful that this place exists!

Such an amazing place and a pearl in Prague. The food was great and so much different from what you can get anywhere else. I was only going to have breakfast, but ended up staying there the whole day. The teas were super high quality. The dishes were super creative and tasty. And you could feel the love that had been put into each dish by Milan (the owner and daily manager). This bistro is absolutely delicious!! Genuinely one of the best places I’ve been- I actually went two days in a row for lunch because everything I got the first time was so good. I got the green salad and zucchini spaghetti, a couple raw desserts as well, and some lattes and everything was super tasty!! The place is so cute and the owner was super friendly and helpful with offering suggestions. I highly recommend coming here, even if you’re not vegan or eat raw food, this place simply just has delicious and unique food!! I wish it was in my hometown!!

Best raw food cafe in Prague to make it short. The service was pleasant and the food came quickly, the taste was amazing! I ordered avocado bread and taco as well as a poppy seed cake. You could also buy stuff like raw food bars or crackers. The desserts looked not fancy, but are very delicious.

What a great restaurant!! The owner is super super friendly and extremely helpful! Was in Prague for 3 days and wish I had found the restaurant as soon as I arrived! Raw soup is actually not cooked thing but it’s served with warmth. It really fills my stomach very well. I noticed that there is even hummus version. I’ll definitely try that in the next time. And the Raw burger with beetroot is great too. I love Vegan food which is made of beetroot! Feeling so good. Fresh juice and Lactose-free Latte are even fantastic.. We are tea lover. But we couldn’t help to order these beautiful stuffs as priorities. Don’t miss raw sweets! We had Raw dates cookies and apple strudel. Apple strudel is really WONDERFUL! You MUST HAVE it. Wonderful raw and tea shop. Forget factory made tea bags and be mind blown by tea from all over the world. The guys working here are so nice and seem genuinely interested in tea and their raw food. It was amazing to spend a calm and mindful evening here.

I love that they are raw and considerate about food combining for optimal digestion. They don't use sugar in any of their desserts but they're so delicious, especially the apple strudel and blueberry cake! I couldn't believe it was made with only raw fruits. I've read the raw burger was amazing but they were out when I got there so I'll be back to try it!

All food there is vegan and raw, meaning that if any cooking has been involved, it was only till the temperature of approximately 40 degrees. While the reasons behind this temperature are pseudoscientific at best, the end result is actually very tasty. You'll be able to try a beetroot pate serving as a replacement for a bun, spaghetti made out of zucchini, and raw apple strudel. I'll definitely be coming back.

We had pea soup (very creamy), desserts and carrot/beet bread with leaf vegetable and some horseradishy mustardy sauce. Everything was great. The environment is very cosy and clean. Also the prices are very good for Prague and this kind of bistro. The only drawback is that we waited a little too long for the food.

I was delighted to discover this place. Great atmosphere where one feels welcome to linger and read a book/sketch/study/work, wonderful service, and delicious food at very reasonable prices that makes your body and tastebuds happy 🙂 I definitely will be coming back!

I have celiac and it's almost always impossible to find a place where I can eat everything on the menu without worrying about my triggers, but this place catered to all my needs. I tried the cinammon late, indian sandwich and cookie and everything literally exceeded my expectations. Will definitely visit again and recommend it to others.

I was there a couple of times. I had a soup and something sweet. Both things were delicious. The service was great, the waiter extremely friendly, atmosphere wonderful... The only (big) problem I see there is the environmental impact. Almost all the ingredients are imported from far away: bananas, avocados, coconut, oranges, tomatoes in the winter, different nuts. It is all transported by plane and we really do have to start eating locally before it's too late to save anything. (Another problem is that avocados, bananas and cocoa production involves often terrible working conditions, even slavery, and in BistrRAW these ingredients have no FairTrade certificate, are just bought in a supermarket.) It is hard to eat raw locally in the Czech winter but you can make way more effort. There is local buckwheat, apples, hazelnuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds, poppy seeds, oats, beetroots, carrots, millet. And you can buy them package-free, not in a plastic bag from a supermarket.

I've tried everything on the menu, including soup, cake and tea and loved it all! 😋
