We have been here for brunch. The place is spacious. The food and drink selections are various. The staff is kind and helpful. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. The food is fresh and tasty. Our recommendations are as in pictures for the brunch.

We came here for lunch and managed to get ourselves a table next to the window. Had the waiter to get our order once we have decided on our meals and drinks. Grand cappuccino was good, very nice coffee. Cake was good too, breaded turkey fillet taste great too but the taste and texture of the pork could be made better, it was not tender enough so the texture was a bit too dry, the mashed potato that came with it tasted great though. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Love the hot chocolate here. Had 2. The pork chop was also good . Service was ok only . The waiter didn't know I'll tip him. Guess he regret not seeing us and giving us slow service. Immediately became friendly after the tip, wishing us happy new year etc and could speak more English than when he took our orders

Historic cafe circa 1902. Gorgeous interior. I went on a Sunday in Aug around lunch time, and there were tables available the whole time and there was no wait. Ordered Cappuccino Louvre, breakfast beef goulash, liver pate, and truffle cake with mango sauce. Total was less than $25. Prompt friendly service. Tram 9 drops you off around the corner.

Inside a 1902 salon frequented by the elite, including Albert Einstein, Cafe Louvre is a step into the old world. Red curtains, old paintings, and pool tables decorate the inside in several grand dining halls. Stopping in on a Sunday in July around 9.30, we got a table right away. (By the time we left an hour later, there was a line!) We orders coffee, which comes on a silver tray with a small cup, pancakes with raspberry sauce and sweetened sour cream, breakfast goulash, and a ham and cheese croissant. The pancakes are delicious as is the goulash. Our six-year-old daughter didn’t love the ham and cheese croissant since it was more of a sandwich with cucumbers than ham and cheese mixed inside the dough. Service wasn’t awesome. Our server seemed annoyed at us for no reason. They did give our daughter a coloring page and crayons!

This cafe is a gem deserving of recommendations, especially if you order the right things. The hot chocolate is a delight for chocolate enthusiasts; its thickness and richness make you think of Angelina Paris. I also enjoyed the traditional Czech fish dish served on Christmas.

Historic cafe with quite a bit of legacy. The service varied from good to decent at different times of the day. The food options are massively spanned out and they have passable range for vegetarians. The artefacts lining the cafe were interesting and possibly quirky. We visited this cafe for late night drinks and for breakfast. The winter drinks menu is fun to choose from and they do have some specialised local delicacies. The pricing is nominal and their opening times are pretty much customer friendly.

The dish is delicious and the price is reasonable. An awesome place to hangout with friends after work. And they have a nice session for billiard for a good time of game! The waiters are very helpful and friendly but they are overworked as a very few of them attends to many tables. But in all the place is awesome, great atmosphere, and amazing service.

The place itself is really beautiful and very vintage. This place feels like a fancy restaurant with very high prices, even though the prices are honest. The hot chocolate was good, I've had better. The service was a bit slow, we needed to wait a long while before anybody arrived to take our order, but it was understandable as we went on Christmas and the place was packed. Overall, Café Louvre was a pretty nice place, worth to visit at least once.

Very nice place for breakfast. Came here from a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. I ordered a French breakfast which consists of some cheese, a croissant, and fois Gras, with some bread and butter. Very well balanced flavors. I complement the breakfast with a plain scrambled eggs which were cooked a bit too soft to my liking, but nothing special. The goose liver pate was very good, alongside with the butter croissant it was a pleasure. Service was slow but decadent. Really enjoyed it!

Beautiful artistic old cafe! We went in for coffee and had 3 different desserts and some coffee The service was quick and the servers were well Informative. The cafe is so big and has multiple sitting areas and serves food, drinks and cocktails. Worth visiting !

Honestly, it was a bit overrated for me. Between the long wait times and the mediocre service, the food had to be exceptional to meet expectations but it fell a bit short of that. The hot chocolate was okay, the dessert looked better than it tasted. Maybe it wasn't just my day when I visited 🤷🏻‍♀️

I went to this famous coffee shop and I tasted the cappuccino flavored by name of this place. Also I took the cheesecake proposed by the waiter. It was very good. I was see more food, a speciality of the house. Note that the tip cannot be paid by card.

Beautiful venue, transported us back in time. The apple cake looked dry but was so moist we were shocked and delighted! The breakfasts were beautifully presented and felt authentic. We did think they could serve less bread as a default though, as we felt bad about wasting it (so ate it all), but saw even the single tables got at least 3 people’s worth of bread.

The place looks dated. But, that's the whole point 😂 If you want to go back in time while in Prague, this is one of the places. We went there on a hot summer day to chill with an ice coffee and AC. However, there was no AC. I assume they tried to stay in the previous century to keep the place in its original state 🫠 There was only iced cappuccino with caramel. We asked it without caramel, and it was no issue. As for services, another great place for the world famous Czech hospitality 😬 I'm not really complaining. I find this very effective. The service is to the point and fast. In short, it's a nice place. The interior spcae is big. There are multiple areas. Prices are average. So, it's worth a visit if you're interested in historical places.

Gorgeous historical cafe, with delicious cakes and drinks at affordable prices. The staff was generous. I recommend the hot chocolate and strudel.

I was so surprised about this place. Very nice decoration, extremely polite and helpful staff, many choices when it comes to food and coffees. I had breakfast here which was the right amount and it had a correct price. Another reason I came here was for their legendary Sacher-Torte which was pairing perfectly with a cappuccino.

It was an amazing experience to visit this cafe. I was really amazed by the history which made me even more interested. There usually is a little bit of a wait to enter to the cafe but it’s not too long and it’s really worth it. The drinks were really unique, the food and the cakes were amazing too. The service was alright, sometimes the wait for food and dessert would take a little longer than expected. The atmosphere is amazing, very picturesque and a vintage cafe with walls full of its history. I would definitely visit again if I go to Prague.
