Worst meal in Prague, the service was awful and the waiter tried to force/guilt trip me to give a 10% tip. I told him it was awful and he wasn’t getting a penny, he then continued to pressure me and make a very big scene in the restaurant. The toilet lady was also very rude and abrupt, she seemed to enjoy aggressively shouting at customers, demanding tickets and not explaining where you get them from. Give this place a miss, there’s plenty of very nice places to eat which are half the price.

All started well upon arrival but quickly turned sour at the hands of one waiter (the bald waiter). He decided the right approach was to make a big deal trying to accommodate 4 adults with 2 small children, didnt bother to offer high chairs for the children and carried on when we requested. He proceeded to get further upset when we ordered a few drinks separately and told us he would have to kill himself if we kept ordering drinks 1 by 1 (obviously he's never eaten out with toddlers). Continuing on with the bad service one of the traditional Czech dishes (pork knuckle) was served under cooked. With the experience at this restaurant already beyond a joke we were slapped with the bill adjusted by staff to include their tip. Would have liked to had the option to give them nothing based on their efforts. 2.4 STARS OVERALL IS GENOUROUS FOR THIS RESTAURANT.

The waiter is kind and the restaurant/bar is in the most central location in Prague. The view from the bar is lovely. I had espresso there, it was ok but overpriced, a bit more than other coffee bars at the center. I would not return here again.

First off the server automatically assumed that he was owed 10% tip. The food we ordered was ridiculously bad, the pasta was cold, the hamburger was dry and tasteless. We assumed by the looks of the place that it was a decent establishment.we were never more wrong. I would advise everyone to stay at least a 100 yards away from this place

I went here to grab a beer, and it was delicious! The atmosphere was amazing, with the sun shining bright at the terrace. What stood out was the service. We were kindly asked if we would like anything else, and we didn't have to wait long. When we asked where we could watch football, we were also given directions to another bar, which shows me that the customer is truly number one here!

프라하에서의 최악의 카페.음식은 사진과 완전다름. 빵은 벽돌과 같음 결정적으로 인종차별을 느낄정도의 최악의 서비스임 This is the worst cafe I've been to Praha. I ordered English breakfast priced in 365kc. The food was completely different from the photo on the table. The service was the worst. They don't have any single manner. I asked the waiter is here wifi available? he just passed away saying "no wifi" didn't even glance. There were only two tables not even busy. The bread seems like being on outside a couple of days, hard as a cold brick. They ignored 2times after eye contacting with me.

The food was good especially for such a touristy area. We had the pork knuckle and duck breast with a side of veggies. The duck was a tad dry, but otherwise, the meal was cooked to our liking. Service was reasonable, however the waiter seemed uninterested. After requesting the bill, it took a bit longer than expected. There several yellow jackets in the area that made dining a bit difficult.

First, servers were rude. Overpriced food was dry and stale. Risotto had chunks of garlic. Lasagna was old and reheated. And the bread was straight out of the refrigerator (cold). The great location does not compensate any of this. You are way better off going to the Hard Rock or Las Adelitas nearby.

After we sat down, I read the reviews. Lol. So, we just drank wine and had good service and the wine was fine and the view was great. So I give it four out of five. We had a good server!

Pay a bomb for tasteless food served with bad temper. Maybe it was the holiday season or maybe it was the chef’s day off, the tomato basil soup, the bruschetta and the pasta were very very average for the price. The cafe benefits from location but I don’t think the patrons benefit in any manner.

Don't know why this place has such low ratings but I had a decent dinner here w the tomahawk pork chop, roasted potatoes (must try) and caprese salad w a glass of Czech made Cabernet. Roasted potatoes best I've ever had, pork chop a little bit overcooked so little to the dry side and the caprese salad was okay. The views of old town square is amazing here!

Aside from the overall bad reviews on maps, our food was nice.

Nope. The hospitality and service were horrible, the staff make you feel NOT welcome. We went for a drink on the terrace (1 ginger tea and 1 bottled strawberry juice was 10 euros). They only have 1 toilet for ladies and 1 toilet for men. The toilet lady kept yelling at all the women in line and also at people using the toilet. Her English wasn't good so I didn't perfectly understand but she was very annoyed and angry for no reason? If there is only 1 toilet at such a big café/restaurant, obviously there will be a line of people waiting? The waiter asked for a tip when we wanted to pay. We explained that I got yelled at and didn't want to tip, he didn't care and rushed through.

It's fine.. Wouldn't recommend it for the food, and priced way, way, higher than the rest of old town Prague.. But you get a great view of the square.. That's the rationale for the markup. So if you want good food, go elsewhere. If you don't care and just want a view, here's your spot. Don't appreciate the automatic tip included tho..

Very nice food and drinks. The staff that served us were nice but one waiter, I think he was maybe a manager, was very rude. He told us before we had paid that we should tip and then when we didn't he cursed at us and shouted at us very aggressively.

The worst restaurant in Prague. They charged us with 805 kc and we wanted to pay in euros and then they charged us for 40, 30 euros which means that they stole 6 euros. When I told to the waiter that 805 kc = 34 euros and not 40 euros and I asked him why they did that, he told me his boss counts this way!! I also have the receipt which proves the truth I am telling now.

I want to share my experience: my husband and I were in this restaurant for three days in a row (Friday-Sunday) great atmosphere, wonderful music playlist, nice view of the city center and most importantly - nice waiters (little blonde and tall guy Jacob) very friendly and smiling! Delicious food and fast service, we will definitely come back again and again! The chef brought us dinner in person, it was incredibly nice!!!!!!!!! A bit expensive, but for city center understandable huh..Thank you guys!!!

Our visit to this restaurant was impromptu whilst wandering around the square - having sat ourselves down outside and ordered I regretted not reading the reviews sooner. It took 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive (coca cola and water - very simple surely it doesn’t take this long to get the bottles out of a fridge??) and then a further 30 minutes for our food. During this time we saw 2 tables of families leave after waiting similar times for their food. One family asked the waiter 3 times how long their food would be and the response was always “5 minutes we’re very busy inside”, another waiter even tried to argue with a family after they had paid for their drinks and said they wish to cancel their food order. Despite this we did wait it out and still eat our food which was really hot and did taste nice. If it weren’t for the awful service, wait times and the clear tension all around us I would rate higher as the food was fine. I certainly won’t visit again and have learnt my lesson to check reviews beforehand!!

I can't tell you about the food as we didn't eat. They sat us at a table. We looked at the menu and waited for 30 minutes. Our waiter, the same person who sat us, comes over and tells us they are closed. There are five other tables in the room that have yet to be served. Do yourself a favor and keep walking. A five minute walk will get you delicious food and great service at a reasonable price.

Rude staff and totally overpriced. The bill was already manually adjusted to include a tip of 10%. Although I usually like to decide myself whether I want to tip or not, as I do so depending on the service received and not as a rule of thumb, I agreed to pay the total estimated by the staff. My surprise was that the waiter got even more rude when I said I wanted my change back since they already included my tip on top of the bill. Honestly, what did they expect? A tip on top of the tip? Well, one more place we sure won’t return to

Bit disappointed, food was rather bland and oily. The girls who gave us our food and drinks however were lovely but the male servers became grumpy when we said we didn’t want to tip :/

Slow service, expensive for what you get, not great quality despite looking great in person and in pictures. You’re paying for location but don’t expect good food. But if you want great pictures…

Not sure why this has so many poor reviews... From my visit I cannot fault this place & meal at all! I can honestly & strongly say, their Tiramisu is the BEST Tiramisu I have ever had! So tasty & perfect textures. The main meal was also very good & large portions left both of us completely full after the two courses we indulged in. Ok, it was expensive yes. But it is in the busiest square in Prague with great views across the whole square. The perfect sport to people watch with a lovely meal! Sadly others did not have such a good experience but I will still recommend here based on my own visit. Great job guys!

The women who helped us was acting like she didn't even wanted us to come eat there. She was very much in a rush and far from polite, our plates were removed from the table while one of us was still eating. So we didn't find it appropriate to leave a tip, even tho we know its usual to leave a tip. She then started to shout at us that we're cheap f*cks and we should leave immediatly while we still had drinks left.

The lowest lever you could possibly find in Prague. I am living in prague for years now and never tried this place , the wine is of the cheapest quality... they could manage to screw the duck... and in Czech Republic is only this A Challange! Don't go! It's a kind suggestion

Waiters were really rude and unfriendly. We were waiting to be seated for 15 minutes but the waiter insisted we waited until he cleaned the table. He just stood there and didn’t start to clean the table. After taking the dirty cups we tried to sit down and he told us that we still had to wait even though there was an entire line waiting and multiple tables were free! Worst service ever! After this we walked off and went somewhere else.

We were hesitating for some time if to go or not, because of bad rating we saw on google. At the end we went. We took Pinsa and French fries with glass of red wine. All was good and waiter was kind AND friendly and spoke English German and Czech too... is expensive place but is because of the center spot...with view...

Incredible location, very sweet staff! Can't think of anything that should be handled any better. It soon got our regular place. If you wsnt to get out of the tourist crowd populating the square - go around the corner to LaScala - same kitchen and somewhat cheaper drinks. Recommended!

Except the nicely decorated underground, this "caffe" is not worth it. Too expensive for lower than average quality and quantity.
