Worst Hotel ever. The room smells like sewerage, our bed sheet was dirty - there were brown spots - disgusting. Let‘s not even talk about breakfast. Old buns, old croissant, just two slices cheese and pork but my boyfriend is muslim and they served it on one plate so the cheese and the pork contacted. I really really REALLY don‘t recommend to book this hotel.

This hotel was a scam! The rooms were no good cleaned and the bed gave me really bad pain in my back. The breakfast was horrible and after the first day I bought my own. The air conditioner didn’t work either so we got a small fan. The only good thing with this hotel was the friendly staff. I will give this hotel only 1 star. My expectations of this hotel was high but honestly I feel really cheated. This is the worst hotel I ever been at. And we stayed for 5 nights. A total nightmare

It is an okay hotel, most rooms aren't big and those facing to the front just have the opposite blank wall as the view. But the food was good and if you are lucky, you can have the whole gym and wellness room for yourself since it can only be used by one room at a time. Overall, the experience for the price is fine, but saying it is befitting of a 5-star hotel would be a bit farstreched.

WORST BREAKFAST EVER The rooms are beautiful, the hotel inside is beautiful. The breakfast on the other hand is seriously the worst I’ve ever had. My and my wife decided to go with this hotel for our wedding night. Given it has 5stars, one would expect a rich breakfast that I could not pick from in one morning. The complete opposite is the truth. You get ok coffee, then 3 slices of cheap ham and cheap cheese on a plate, old bread, and that is it. In one corner, I saw a possibility to get a omelette, so I have to ask the lady that was on her phone if I can get one, and she said yes. So me and my wife, we both asked for one omelette, and we each got ½ of the omelette. I’m czech. This is seriously a ripoff. If you like breakfasts in hotels like I do, please, go somewhere else. When I told the receptionist, they seemed like they will not do anything about it because its a beautiful hotel and the breakfast is great.

As the name suggests,it's truly a Royal Palace. Right from when you enter the hotel to the deco of rooms all looks like a palace. The window view from hotel room is simply majestic 😍😍😍. Walls , painting 🖌️ and the even curtains give a look of Royal feeling. Among all my travel and booking in Europe this is simply an amazing one. Certainly worth it every penny and location is a too good 👍✅

The hotel was very clean, prime location to all touristic spots, we did not need a bus/train at all, we just walked everywhere. We had an issue also with the heating which we informed the reception but that was just overlooked. However all in all good value for money

Friendly service. Breakfast was excellent. The room was a bit cold, the air conditioner did not work on the first night, but the hotel stuff fixed it quickly.

I highly recommend choosing this hotel when staying in Prague. It was my first visit to the city, so I wanted to stay somewhere central to the sites so I could walk to most places. It was not only convenient, but the location was in the lesser town, which I found more "authentic" and quiet, not overrun with tourists like on the other side of the river. The staff were friendly and helpful, a large variety of food options available for breakfast, the room was clean and spacious with a lovely view of the town through large windows overlooking a park setting. Full of character and charm. I hope to return to Prague one day and will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

When i was first entered, the room and furniture were not very clean.  I couldn't get to spa and fitness while i was there due to water problems.  There was an unpleasant smell in the bedroom. The some staff are unfriendly. Breakfast with little variety. I would not recommend this hotel.

Would not recommend this hotel. Whilst the location is great exploring most of the tourist spots by foot , service was not great. The bed was broken and we could not change rooms or get a replacement bed, so had to sleep on the broken bed. No amenities either, $50 euro if you want to use spa. I would look elsewhere.

I looked at atleast 50 properties in old town area before booking this one. I booked this one because it clearly said, "ROOM WITH A OLD CITY or PALACE VIEW". When we arrived, we got rooms with a giant WALL for view. The reason we chose to live that side of Prague was coz we were promised a view of the other side. Now such mistakes happen what I didn't appreciate, is how the hotel handled the situation. They refused to help us. There was no guilt or consideration in the manager's voice for providing us something absolutely different from the description the site. They asked me to PAY more money to get rooms with a view. The breakfast was utter rubbish at this property. Instead of buffet they chose to serve at the table. A set menu for all 3 days that we were there. We got 3 grapes, an orange wedge and a dry tasteless croissant. Some cold cut meat and cheese right under my nose without asking about my meal preference. I am VEGAN! I don't eat eggs, but for those who do, you gotta pay for eggs thought breakfast is INCLUDED. I guess it is as included as the room with a view. A great hotel with such potential, perhaps they need new management.

All the staff members were friendly and polite. I felt a warm feeling like coming home. The room was also very clean and I was able to spend a very comfortable stay for 3 consecutive nights. Breakfast is very delicious, I appreciate that it is served until 10:30. I would like to stay again when I come to the Czech Republic 😊

Not recommended! The breakfast was too simple, they were reluctant to to fill the empty dishes regularly. The room service was not good either, when we asked for turning the heater ( it was Spring), the employees did their best just to persuade us that the temperature is OK, and the heater is not needed!

I really liked it. Great service. Breakfast is very good. Including mimosas. Room was very cute. I would say it smells a bit old, but not too bad. Gym only had 2 machines...lol Sauna and jacuzzi looked great. Too bad we did not have time. IVO the Bellman has been fantastic. Really helpful. Taxi to the airport 570 ck, about 22 us $ Location is perfect Would come back.

The location , the room and the breakfast was great . The staff were not very professional; mostly very young and not knowledgeable. The rooms are very nice and comfortable . Super easy to walk to town and to everything

This hotel is right in the historical centre of Prague. Excellent and friendly staff. Beautiful rooms and very peaceful and quiet with a wonderful view from the window - even though I was on a lower floor. The breakfast is worth special mention - really good.

Stayed in room 403 (deluxe senior double room). Amazing views of castle and Wallenstein gardens. Beautiful bathroom. Useful aircon and 12 noon checkout. Hotel conveniently located 5 mins away from Charles Bridge but still in a quiet lovely and wealthy Mala Strana area. Lovely ladies offering tea/coffee at breakfast were lovely and always remembered that I only drank mint tea. Receptionist arranged a lovely perfect birthday gift for my husband's 30th. Useful storage of our suitcases as our flight departure was late at night. WiFi wasn't working well, unless you went into the bathroom or by door. Would like more English channels than just BBC Worldwide or CNN. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

WHAT AN AMAZING HOTEL! Great location and the hotel itself is a treat, very gorgeous. Delicious breakfast and a nice little bar. Plus the employees are amazing, especially Jana & Vitalii. They helped us out with an issue and saved the day. I highly recommend this hotel.

Ambassador suite was so beautiful, love to stay there. Unfortunately we cannot eat any cake or sandwich in the evening, I was sad about that. Bar is not available in the room. The wellness is private, de enjoyed a lot. :) Thank you.

The hotel has a staff that really makes you welcome when you arrive at the hotel, and they certainly makes your stay there as a dream come true. I arrived the hotel together with 9 of my friends. Although we where quite unstructured group of people the staff continued to make us fees special and they never lost their smile. :) The location of the hotel is superb, the castle is in the bedroom window and old town is just over the bridge. Tram is also quite near for those who need to travel further. Standard of the rooms are great, spacey and well equipped, the beds could have been a bit more soft, but that is a personal request. Breakfast is served at the hotel and it is a nice buffet. You can also request a omelette that will be made for you while you in the buffet area. I will not hesitate to recommend hotel Royal Palace to all my friends and family

The hotel is boutique as it has about 35 rooms. The rooms are compact but well fitted out and rooms on level 4 & 5 have good views. The lower levels would struggle to say they have a view of any description. Breakfast is basic for continental but a full breakfast menu is offered. Personally we were disappointed with the breakfast. The restaurant for evening meals during our stay was not supported, with so many nearby its best to eat out. The hotel is small so don't expect chain hotel 5* service and facilities. I would find it difficult to rate 5* but a good top end 3, we found the hotel to have quality rooms well maintained. Good location in the old city easy walking to most places. No onsite manager but we didn´t encounter any problems but it was evident by our landing carpet being so grubby in places that no manager was in the building. Satff not supervised so a lack of final touches for any good hotel.

My partner and I decided to stop here for some food during our travels in Prague. The receptionist informed us that the restaurant would be opening at 6pm (around half hour wait) but we were welcome to stop in the bar for a drink whilst we waited for the restaurant to open. We enjoyed a beer in the bar, which was well decorated and very quaint, and the bartender was very professional and attentive. However, our excitement and anticipation for some well deserved food was cut short, as we were only then informed that the restaurant was by reservation only, and that we could not eat there. We were very disappointed that we hadn't been told this when we walked in, because we wouldn't have waited. Overall, nice bar but a disappointing experience.
