One of the best hotels I’ve experienced. The view from the apartment was stunning, can see the pictures from the review. The Prague castle complex was right next to us < 2 minutes of walk. Although positioned quite close to the castle, it was quiet in the evening. The staff was very kind and friendly, and helped us with information about the city and the surroundings. The building itself is very old but fully renovated. The person at the reception told us the stairs are over 300 years old and are UNESCO heritage (thats why they creek a little bit). Also the building held a sort of printing press in the past. The breakfast was good, the usual things you find (eggs, sausages, bacon, cheese and more). The variation was little from day to day. I would definitely recommend the stay here.

Love this hotel. The rooms are very nice, beds are comfortable. Staff is awesome. Always friendly and helpful with great tour recommendations. The restaurant is also outstanding. Food is great and the waiters are the best. I will miss this place and can wait to come back. Thanks for a great stay

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the golden star in Prague. The location can’t be beat, and the view is fantastic. The complementary morning breakfast was excellent, with a nice combination of meats, fruit and desserts. Staff is very responsive and speak multiple languages including English. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend quality time in this beautiful city.

The hotel is absolutely amazing. If you dont plan on living in old town this hotel is situated right next to the Prague Castle, dare i say you get the King’s view from here. The walk to the hotel is a bit uphill but helps in burning calories from all those chimney cakes. The service is amazing, staff is very polite and kind. The breakfast was awesome as well.

Great stop off point on the way up to Prague Castle. You can sit inside or outside. Toilets are very clean and very modern. Had the old Czech potato soup. Very nice and very warming as it was -6 outside.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional!! Staff were super helpful, warm and welcoming. Location is just perfect, close to all major tourist attractions in Prague. And the breakfast too good with staff constantly replenishing the food. And lastly, the view from our room was STUNNING!!

Great hotel, amazing view, perfect location and delicious breakfast. There is a supermarket on the other side of the street. If you walk home, remember it’s up the hill next to the castle ;)

A nice small hotel beside the castle. The room was not very big, but it was perfectly clean and cozy. The beds are comfortable and there is really quiet in the hotel. The breakfast was tasty with lot of options. The staff is very friendly and relaxed, everything went smoothly. The hotel is located in a quite steep hill, but it is easily reached by using the tram line 22.

Freundliches Personal. Gerne wieder!

Excellent stay here: Location - v quiet nights. Right next to Castle wall great for everywhere but do need to be willing to walk up steep hill. Room - reasonable size, clean, modern could do with some drawers, very comfortable bed Staff - helpful and friendly bar, restaurant and reception Breakfast - pleanty of options, would have preferred more hot options (OK I like full English). Eve Meal - reasonable choice and price, quality and presentation good.

The hotel is in a good location, under the castle and not too far from the city center. We were lucky to get a parking space in front of the entrance, because we visited Prague outside the tourist season and there are only a couple of parking spaces available in front of the hotel. Otherwise it is a solid hotel. We took a 2 bedroom room and it was very spacious and clean too. The breakfast was good and also varied. When leaving, the only thing that bothered us was the attitude of the receptionist, who didn't even ask how we were satisfied with the service and accommodation. The price of a night's stay is also a bad thing, as it is quite high for the services that the hotel offers.

I loved this hotel. The location was perfect for us. Close to the castle, quick walk to Olde Town.(granted we like to walk and we covered over 10 miles) It was so quiet at night, the bed was so comfortable, the A/C was excellent. The breakfast was excellent with many options.

If you don't have a car, you'd better take Uber to the hotel. It's going to be hard for you to come to the hotel with your luggage. If you have a car, there is no place to park in the hotel. You have to park on the street, but you have to pay 18 euros to the hotel. When I checked in, the hotel staff told me the city hall site and said I could pay for the parking, but I could only pay for it by max 1 hour. I didn't know that 1hod was an hour, but I only lost 80czk. When I told this to the hotel staff, only then did she say that there was one seat where I could register for parking by 12 a.m. the next day. And I got 18 euros. It's a good location to visit Prague Castle and the monastery. The hotel is old, but it is clean whether the interior has been remodeled. We also have soap, shampoo, body wash, and body lotion. There is a refrigerator, air conditioner, and breakfast is okay. There was nothing uncomfortable except parking because the staff was on standby 24 hours a day.

This is a smaller hotel in a historic building located at the foot of Prague's castle hill, the area is nice and quiet at night. My room was beautiful and stylish with all the comfort you could wish for, very large and comfortable bed. It was really immaculately clean, thank you! Also a special thank you to Ondrej at reception who was very friendly and nice to talk to, he also helped me with information about Prague, public transport etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, very good value for money!

Nice place. Well renovated building with perfect view on Hradcany from the breakfast room. Good breakfast and service. Moderate price. Only one disadvantage: hard to park the car.

The staff is super friendly and helpful and speaks English. The breakfast is very good. Everything is super clean and the rooms are very cosy. There are free teas and a lot of complimentary toiletries.

Great location, just beneath Prague castle. Rooms were clean, bathroom too, floor heating in bathroom is a nice touch. Breakfast was ok, but furniture needs a bit of refreshing. Also, the second room for breakfast was chilly because of the automatic doors that opened every time someone passed in front.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Golden Star. We had a lovely welcome on arrival and throughout our stay the staff were really friendly, courteous and helpful and on hand 24/7. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with lovely views of the city and our room was comfortable, bright and spacious and very clean. There was a good selection for breakfast with plenty of hot and cold options, plus fruits, pastries and breads. We loved the location, as we wanted to be away from the main bustle, but close enough to explore the city easily. It's close to the main castle complex and whilst busy during the day, it was quiet and peaceful at night and in a lovely quarter of Prague.

A room, a shower, an air conditioner, a safe, a breakfast. As it should be. not centrally located, but not that loud. Not a 5 star hotel, that should be clear ;)

AMAZING location nestled in the castle district. The streets are filled with tourists during the day and by night it’s so quiet you can hear a pin drop. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately we didn’t get the best sleep here as we could hear the guests below us in the late hours of the night.
