5/5 Derek P. 1 year ago on Google
I
found
Okolo
bikes
online
via
a
Google
maps
search
and
the
location
of
the
shop
was
near
the
riverside
cycle
path
(my
planned
route)
-
so
not
too
much
city
traffic
or
cobbled
streets
to
negotiate.
I
booked
in
advance
by
email,
and
checked
in
as
agreed.
I
hired
a
very
good
quality
trekking
bike
-
and
was
offered
a
map
with
case,
spare
tube
and
puncture
repair
kit,
strong
lock,
and
also
panniers
(but
I
chose
a
rack
as
that
was
fine).
I
got
a
bit
of
painful
cramp
before
I’d
even
started
-
but
Michal
gave
me
a
glass
of
water
and
also
a
filled
water
bottle
to
take,
appreciated.
He
was
very
helpful
with
information
about
my
planned
routes,
and
checked
one
of
them
where
he
wasn’t
sure
my
plan
was
rideable.
He
told
me
in
advance
about
sections
of
the
cycle
path
where
it
was
trickier.
He
gave
a
lot
of
helpful
advice
about
the
route.
He
also
phoned
my
hotel
to
check
I
could
take
the
bike
back
there
after
my
first
ride.
Everything
was
included
in
the
700
Czech
Krona
price.
That’s
around
£24,
roughly
£12
per
day
-
I
thought
it
was
a
very
reasonable
price.
Michal
also
recommended
a
rooftop
bar
on
the
fifth
floor
of
the
Kotva
shopping
centre
-
I’m
glad
he
did,
I
wouldn’t
have
known
about
it.
It
had
an
outside
terrace
with
views
of
nearby
churches
and
other
architectural
features
that
Prague
is
famous
for.
A
nice
place
to
have
a
beer.
Thanks
Michal
-
for
all
your
extra
help.
I’d
certainly
use
Okolo
again
if
I
ever
return
to
Prague.
The
bike
was
all
I
needed
and
worked
fine
-
but
Michal’s
helpful
attitude
was
noted
-
and
very
much
appreciated.
