We only played Beachvolleyball here during winter 2022 and the sand was extremely cold. They save too much energy but many people get hurt in such a cold. There needs to be some compromise. Also one needs to pass outside to get to the freezing, dirty changing rooms. Water in the shower had no pressure and surprisingly was only lukewarm. So I cannot recommend it for winter Beachvolleyball.
