I haven't visited such an eye-catching, magnificent castle in a long time. It fascinates with ancient Greek structures and lush gardens. It definitely has more than a castle. It is a must-visit for tourists coming to Prague. You will want to get lost willingly, especially in the garden, which gives the impression of a maze.

A large and beautiful Baroque palace in the north of Prague Located near the zoo, this palatial complex has large Baroque gardens and was influential in the development of the Baroque style in central Europe. The interior has impressive frescoes and paintings and the main hall is a sight to behold. It is a little way away from the centre of the city and not advisable if only spending a day or two in Prague, but for those with a little extra time to spend, Troja is well worth a visit.

Very beautiful castle, restored outside. It is located next to the Botanical Gardens and the large two-level Zoo. Tickets are cheaper to take at once to visit the Castle + Botanical Garden + Zoo. In these three places you can spend the whole day. It's very beautiful there. You will easily get there by city transport.

Definitely one of the most beautiful castles I have ever been to. The architecture is so beautiful and the garden is eye-catching and very calm. I loved the fact that there were very little people and the it was possible to explore everywhere without any restrictions. An underrated gem in Prague.

Beautiful place both indoor and the gardens, worth the 120 crowns entry fee, the main hall is stunning!

A very beautiful and historic place, the inside part is just magical.. didn't add photos because no photo can describe the charm of it

The beatifull Main hall is already worth the visit and the family ticket for 250czk or 150 for adult. There are stairs though so forget the stroller, they keep it for you. Visiting the park is for free, dog on leash only in the park, not in interior.

Really nice garden but a pretty disappointing interior. Not much to see inside except for the gorgeous chapel. The tickets are pretty cheap.

Nice building and frescos, beautiful sorroundings. Nice garden on one side. Some part of the garden and pavement are not maintained, renovation is in progress, i'm sure it will improve soon.

To me one of the prettiest castles. Highly recommend coming there along the river on a bike...adds to the experience and views. Perhaps add the botanical garden visit for a nice glass of local wine. Makes it for a truly romantic day. ❤

A beautiful palace, gorgeous frescoes (especially the one in the main hall, the largest and the most detailed in the whole Europe, as they say). A must-visit!

Really fabulous! Amazing fresco paintings. There was restoration works going on at the time that I visited which distracted from the garden and exterior. Otherwise fantastic!

Beautiful Prague Landmark. The whole area is worth the visit when coming to Prague (botanical gardens + zoo). Its about 35-40 minutes from city center by public transport and it offers nice viewpoint and fun activities.

The Troja château is a beautiful building close to the Prague zoo and botanical gardens. It's easily accessible by taking a bus from a nearby metro station. The palace houses exhibits from the Prague gallery and has wonderful interiors. The château garden is gorgeous, full of beautifully kept statues, fountains, mazes and flowers. It's an ideal place for a walk and relaxing. We visited the château with friends especially because we were looking for a château in/and around Prague that we could reach easily by public transport. We're definitely coming back in the future. There is a nice restaurant close to the château where one can have a meal or just a drink.

Lovely castle and park to walk. It is not enough to spend the entire day, but it is precisely opposite of the zoo, so it is a good idea to combine the castle and zoo visiting.

It is nice outside, for me rather not worth to visit inside (though the tickets are not expensive). There is a vinery nearby, which has great view and I think it’s a better option to combine with.

A picturesque palace with amazing gardens, I don't recommend going inside ( quite modest exhibition ) but spend some time in the garden and admire the building from outside.

Amazing castle with beautiful interiors, design of ceilings is particularly gorgeous. Nice garden. The modern art exhibition was average, but really can't complain since all the rest was awesome. Also tickets are cheap enough. Worth it.

Wow, the place is incredible! The garden is calm, beautiful and not crowded at all. Great place for a weekend walk. A museum inside of the castle is really interesting and beautiful! Hold your breath till you get to the chapel room. Overall, it’s a hidden gem in Prague.

One of the most beautiful castles I’ve seen. The wall and ceiling paintings are mind boggling and awesome, with 3d effects! The garden is also very nice. I would recommend this over Prague castle, it’s cheaper, less crowded and nicer.

The palace has a permanent exhibition that includes rooms and their paintings as well as sculptures. There are also temporary exhibits that are always worth peeking into. Sometimes there are events on the grounds of the palace and we were lucky enough to be there during the French food and wine festival. Very close to the zoo and botanical gardens, so well worth the trip out of the city center.

I visited the Trojsky zamek on my walk from Bohnice to Troja. It was late afternoon and the gardens were still opened. There were almost no people so I enjoyed the beautiful calm garden, the views and also the apple trees growing there.

Amazing place, I was excited to see it all alive. Especially on early spring there no people at all, especially at the work days. So I had a strong feeling that it's all mine

When we come there (Feb 4) it was under renovation so the palace wasn’t open. Can only walk in the garden. Too bad we couldn’t find any info about this renovation and only found out once we were there.

Small, but really cheap (for a student). I think there are usually 2 exhibition (I was just before winter closing, so there was only one). I really enjoyed the exhibition and I like the palace, especially those wonderful wall paintings. (btw. The gardens are for free - and they are worth visiting on their own, if you do not want to go inside, although I definitely recommend visiting palace).

Interesting castle, offers a close look of antique sculptures, the yard is awesome and relaxing. The ticket is cheap but you have to pay extra for the botanical garden. I recommend to buy Troja ticket that covers Zoo, Castle and the garden.

Lovely mansion, I wanted to spend a longer time there but was already exhausted from spending all day at the Zoo Praha nearby it. It’s peaceful and grand. Sad that there was construction being done on the facade of the mansion otherwise I was really hoping to get a wide shot of the whole mansion front.
