    We had an awful experience with Gray Line today. We booked the Dresden Tour, with a Spanish translator. Why awful? The "main" Tour guide (his name was Victor D) was extremely disrespectful to not only us but every person he interacted with. Starting with humiliating his colleagues for being not as fast as he wanted checking us in. Then treating us like children for drinking coffee in the bus. Starting unnecessary, time consuming fights with museum guards over bringing bags into a porcelain museum. Also constant bickering with the Spanish translator about content she would tell us. Awkward quizzes to us who draw the ceiling Sixtine Chappell. A dash of xenophobia and misplaced as well as ill-conceived humor. This made the entire trip uncomfortable on a personal level. Dear Gray Lines - this is unacceptable and I would urge you to think twice who you hire as tour guides. Mr. D should clearly reconsider his career path for it shouldn't be in any field where he has to interact with humans whatsoever. Dresden is beautiful though and with a day to spare in Prague a worthwhile trip. Just don't do it with Gray Lines.

    Arrived at Václav Havel, Prague. Driver was late. I booked a private standard car but got a minibus. Driver on his phone all journey except to point out the Castle and where to walk to the Hotel entrance. Also had a tour ( matters not where) meeting point was at Narodini 38. This is not an office but a kiosk in the street. Guide was very quietly spoken, we could barely hear her. On return to airport - again having booked a PRIVATE car - we had a minibus and another passenger. That is NOT a private car. Signs on the mirrors and sun visor reminding me Tip not included. Drivers were not skilled, they all cut corners on bends and were incapable of maintaining any lane discipline. I didn't feel safe

    Less than one hour to go and they cancelled our tour -obviously a numbers game. It was to be at 1pm so unlikely it was a sick staff member. They just didn't get enough numbers. But waiting and giving only an hours notice shows no care for the customer. Very little chance of us finding another tour at such short notice. This was to be the most important element of our trip to prague. Terrible service - shame on you Gray Line

    Not recommendable. We booked them via Expedia. Our flight with Swiss was delayed what they communicated well in advance. Delays are pretty common in our days & services like that should not be offered if they’re not willing or able to furfill their part of the contract. The idea of booking a transfer in advance is to be sure that you have one. Nobody showed up but they called us & told us to wait 45 minutes before someone can show up. We took a taxi. Never ever book them again. Really not recommendable.

    This was the most worst experience with any city tour company in all of Europe DO NOT USE. get to office screaming toothless blonde lady screams at my wife. 10 min later. lady from grey line comes out and says” so sorry we’ve been to busy to send you your passes via email”and all the tour we were scheduled for we can’t go on. they didn’t have time to send us email for our tours? NEVER AGAIN

    I am the "someone" that got left behind outside the castle. I was waiting at the meeting point 5 min before the scheduled time. But because it was just after the change of guard, the whole place was a mess. I could not hear the guide gathering us together, nor did she actively look out for me. The only way I could catch up with the tour was to calm the main office. Instead of coming out to look for me, I was told to skip the queue and just walk straight to the security to tell them my group has already went in (and imagine how embarrassed I was skipping the queue). Everything Deana said in the review was true. The guide was rushing for some reason. There were so many beautiful sights which we could have taken a lot more photos. But you would be left behind if trying to take pictures. Would've been much better if just join anyone of the free walking tours and yo might learn more.

    If you're in Prague, call this company and ASK FOR VICTOR! This man is the most informative, polite, helpful, connected (get you in back doors to rustic places, like when we drove to Dremmen, Germany, even with long lines out front, if you're pressed for time.) He knows EVERYTHING about all of these cities, and everything along the way. He is very friendly, polite, and respectful. TRUST ME: Victor is the man!!!

    NIGHTMARE! Given wrong meeting point, changed route with one less stop without explanation and didnt call the restaurant to say im VEGETARIAN, so i was given CHICKEN that was swaped with cheese on the same plate. NO APOLOGY WHATSOEVER, HORRIBLE.

    They left us at the airport. We went to the meeting point. No one there. We went to information desk, they gave us directions to gray line office, no one there. We asked for a refund, they told us to call the credit card company and dispute. Do not waste your time.

    Very bad experience. Worst customer service ever. The counter staff is unfriendly, rude and incompetent. They cannot even answer the question if it is the right meeting point to start the tour. It was obvious that my question was not understood. I tried to re-phrase 3 times to make my question clear. Instead of bothering to understand the question the counter glass was shut infront of my face. Organization overall is bad as well. We asked for transfer from the hotel as offered on the webpage. After 4 days waiting, one day before the tour, we called to get to know if they will pick up because nobody responded to the booking email... and were informed 'drive by' that the booked tour cannot take place, but one 3 and a half hours later will. I wonder when they would have informed us if I wouldn't have called. Btw. of course they could not pickup... Will never book again and cannot recommend at all.

    They were not at the airport for pick up. This is mirroring other reviews here on Google. We went to the meeting point, there was no one. We went to the information desk, they directed us to the Gray Line office -- it was closed. When we got Gray line on the phone, they explained to us how nothing was their fault and how they expected payment regardless of the fact that they did not drive us. Was booked as the car service through Orbitz -- just do not add the car. The run around for customer service on this is nightmarish with me investing hours to get a resolution. Finally filed a dispute with the credit card company.

    I had an amazing tour, was a small group, and the tour guide Denuse Rachel Emily Stocesova did and AMAZING job, she is very knowledgeable and did this tour in english and also in German, she is extremely passionate about history and small details that I will miss if I walk by myself around prague... also food was impressive great place to eat... Im extremely happy with this tour THANK YOU!

    Went on a 2 hour river boat trip with dinner. Very disappointed! The food was terrible. Dishes were not washed well. The ship was not clean. Plus, there was an old man playing on accordion the whole trip. We couldn't even talk in silence...

    We had a great experience with our full day Prague tour by Gray Line. It was me, my wife and son plus three others we met at the pickup point. Helen was our guide and another nice gentleman was the driver for the first 45 minutes. We drove through the Old Town, New Town and Castle areas while Helen pointed out the highlights and history of what we were seeing. Near the monastery, we exited the van and walked through the upper area while seeing the changing of the guard ceremony with the military band playing. Helen knew all the spots to set up and was a fantastic guide. From there we walked downhill, crossed the river and had the included lunch (which was very good). Then a further walk through Old town, including witnessing the Astronomical Clock in action and the Jewish quarter with Helen continuing to teach us while answering questions. We ended up boarding a river boat with priority boarding for a nice 1 hour sunset cruise. I highly recommend

    Late doing this review. The service I had from the airport to Prague and the return from Prague to the airport was excellent last year. I had just found out my return flight had been cancelled, when the driver came to pick me up, he was so helpful and would not even take a tip from me as he knew I was going to be delayed for a few days in Prague due to weather.

We booked the all day Prague tour, Prague Castle and River Cruise with Grey Sightseeing for May 7, 2019 through Trip Masters. This was the worst tour we’ve ever taken by far! There were no headphones so most of the group couldn’t hear the rude tour guide. Her name was Roxana Jakob’s and she couldn’t care less about the people in the group. She walked away at one point and didn’t tell us anything. Most of us were left standing in front of Prague Castle waiting for her to get back. She left someone behind because she never told us what time we were doing things. When she was told that she left someone behind, she ignored us. When went to a restaurant, she never said only water was provided with the meal (completely ridiculous) so when we ordered drinks, we didn’t know we had to pay. When the waitress stopped us to pay, the guide took off with some groups members and left 4-5 people behind. An elderly woman in her 70’s was running trying to catch up and had problems catching her breathe. When I caught up with the guide, I told her she needs to ensure all of the group is together and that people couldn’t hear her. She said “no big deal, nothing happened”. I guess unless there is an injury or death, she couldn’t care about the tourists. This guide was so bad, we opted not to go on the boat ride as we were so upset with this guide and overall tour experience. We will be sharing this horrible experience/review with Trip Masters and any other media to warn people of how horrible this tour was. That tour guide should be fired!!

    Kiosk operator could not find our reservation even though we had it on our phone. Driver showed up an hour late and was yelling back and forth w kiosk operator in front seat of van. Felt like an unsafe situation and the 3 of us (clients) got out of van. Had to cancel and make our own way to castle. Other passengers using this same line for other trips were being cancelled and delayed while we were standing there.

    We purchased the full day Prague Tour for over £100 and it was terrible. The tour guide spoke very softly and quickly and didn't address the group so if you wasn't facing her to lip read you had no chance. There was no opportunity to ask questions and we were hurried along without having the opportunity to take pictures, if we did we'd lose the group. The tour guide didn't provide any interesting information just names and dates. We walked on main roads under bridges where homeless people lived which wasn't great. Overall a very disappointing experience.. However I must mention the food and river tour that was provided by a third part (typical) food OK 6\10 River tour was very good and very informative (8/10) Guided Tour (1/10) don't waste your money.......

    I guess this is the worse experience ever when, 3 months ahead, you order a taxi to the airport at 2pm via Expedia and then when you call to confirm on the day of the journey, they tell you the only available taxi is at 11:45 am. Then the guide was arguing with the boat trip people. Then at the end of the day she asked for a tip. Day two , we was going on a tour of the prison camp and got to the kiosk 20 mins before the asked us . Over a hour wait and no one turned up nor driver or guide . It was cancelled

    The city is absolutely amazing, but the guide was not interested to share any information about it unfortunately. As the guide hardly saying anything, just basically pointing at the buildings and saying what they are. I am sure Prague is amazing city with her own history, but will have to come back, this time will read the reviews before booking. Very important to have a guide who loves her job and is passionate about the city, I was lucky to hire those ones in other cities. The tour is less than 7 hrs, basically around 3 hrs walking, an hour lunch (good one) and 2 breaks of 20 minutes, plus boat trip 45 minutes. Boat tour audio guide gave better tour for 45 min comparing to city tour of 5 hrs

They did not and we have to wait for 90 mins .. they send ua another guide to take us in metro with another group and that guide leaves us at Prague castle after an hour saying that our tour ends … no one answers properly at the office.. and we have to buy tickets again and do it by ourselves… So bad … don’t ever try them
