Original goal was to go to Marthy’s Kitchen, but the staff there were so rude that we are beyond happy we spontaneously went here, it was always on my list anyway. Scottish waiter, amazing vibes, food and coffee were excellent. Definitely going back!

food was amazing!! coffee was also good. interior was really nice, great atmosphere, went there to study but ended up not studying. I'm pretty sure it's also a great place to work/study tho. they also got some coffee beans and tea. Service was great as well. will probably come back again!

Coffee and food was excellent. Price is maybe a bit higher than other places in Prague, but it's more than worthy, given the product quality, and size of the portions. Service was also good and correct. The waiting time for the food was also good. The general atmosphere was really nice, with nice background music and a tastefully decorated local.

I was there during Christmas holidays, the stuff was very nice and gallant. The tea was good and the decorations is very nice. If you go there in the evening better to have a reservation. And a comment to stuff: this idea of a timer you have is cool, but the digital one with peeping does not fit the overall atmosphere and is ultimately unfriendly towards people with noise sensitivity (like migraine, epilepsy and so on). I would recommend it to change to the hourglass. I have seen it in another teehouse, they had different hourglasses, corresponding to different time. It is more quiet alternative, also a good looking.

Everything we tried at this café was overpriced for what it actually is. The price/quality ratio is pretty bad. The Matcha latte was one of the worst I've tried so far, it was too sweet and with very poor quality matcha which seemed like those cheap matcha latte powder mixes that already contain sugar. The croissant was ok, definitely not freshly baked (not crispy/fresh) but we visited at around 11 so that probably makes sense. The chocolate cake was very mediocre with low quality chocolate and extremely sweet. The banana bread was too dry and hardly had any banana taste, it tasted mostly of cinnamon. They take a long time to serve food, the croissants and cakes were right at the counter yet it took them over 15 min to serve them. The toilets were very clean. The interior of the café is nicely decorated and cosy, The staff were nice and friendly and spoke English. Everything looked much better than it tasted. Update: Our visit was on 15.04.2022

The atmosphere is gorgeous. The cappuccino was great, and I didn’t even add sugar which I have never done before, and the mozzarella, pesto croissant was the best I’ve ever had. Very impressed. Workers were very nice and spoke English. I’ll be back for sure.

We loved it! The place turned out to be very cozy and with delicious hot drinks. If there are fans of hot chocolate here, you're definitely in for a treat! Tasty salmon toast and salad with grilled vegetables, the food is cooked quickly and it is very tasty. We recommend

Sunday at 6pm, we call to reserve a table for 7 people within the next half an hour. They tell us they don't accept reservations with short notice but we could go as there is place enough. We walk 30' to get there, the place is almost full (2 tables available, 3/4 places each; 1 table able to sit 6 or more with only 2 people...). We ask if we can sit all around a 4 seats table : no; if we can join the 2 free tables : neither. We complain if they had arranged better other customers they'd allow us in as well, knowing we were coming, but hey repeat it is not their policy to reserve tables with a short notice and by chance all customers came in all of a sudden and took all tables. A part from the questionable strategy about reservation (if I'm walking to the place and arriving in the next few minutes, they don't keep a table for me; but if I reserve for the next week or month, they do, despite in that time I may forget it, change my mind or die...), I find this attitude is the perfect way to lose customers (not tourists, we all live in Prague). (we ended up at Radiocafé which is 6 minutes walk down Vinohradská and were perfectly well welcomed there, and that's why this review is upgraded to 2 stars instead of the original 1; also we obviously de-starred La Bohème Café from our Google Maps and starred Radiocafé instead).

Super cozy café with amazing coffee, hot chocolate and breakfast food! We came here two days in a row for breakfast because we liked it so much. The staff was lovely too and made us feel really welcome. Highly recommend, especially the hot chocolate & the green leaf salad

Great cafe w/nice decor. Very busy place which lead to slow service. Been sitting in a one seat table waiting to place my order. Been ignored for 10 minutes and I had flagged the waitress down to place my delicious Chai Latte. I still like this lovely place and wish the server would be attentive.

My favorite cafe in Prague. They are expensive (filter coffee for 65 CZK) but the atmosphere and the vibe is amazing. They have cozy couches, high ceilings, large windows, nice decorations... and the service is super super friendly. It’s the perfect place to catch up with friends, work or just sit alone and think about life. Definitely don’t miss out on this cafe.

They have the rule where you can’t sit with your laptop and study or work in order to have more clients. Food was ok, place is kinda tight. Employees were nice and i don’t have anything against them. But the rules are weird and general experience made it bad :(

Came for a quick coffee fix after a couple of years and we were very satisfied. The place is as spotless as usual, very clean and cozy, the waiter who looked middle Eastern was very nice, spoke English to us and promptly served us. We had a batch brew and a macchiato, the latter was for sure the best we've had in the past years. Prices are ok. Overall a lovely spot to grab a cup of coffee.

Great place to taste coffee, especially during cozy Autumn days. It gives you inspiration, and it has such a great vibe. They have great tea and even better coffee. In fact you can buy coffee and they can grind it for you (which tbh pleasantly surprised me) I can definitely recommend this place to anyone ⭐

Great filtered coffee for connoisseurs (and even good tea, which is rare), plus a perfect ambience - this place has it all. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s worth the experience.

  • 5/5 Kenneth C. 2 years ago on Google
The atmosphere was very pleasant and cosy, the coffee and pastries delicious (I had filtered coffee and a slice of banana bread). I brought my book along and sat in the sofa chair on the ground floor for ~2 hours reading and sipping coffee. The music played there isn't anything crazy and isn't played too loud and the staff were all friendly and helpful during my time there.

I went there to study and it was very nice. The ambience is very cozy, service was very good (they didn't bother me while i was studying) and the cinnamon bun i ordered was also very tasty. But i don't think i will study there again because of the absence of wifi.

An absolutely great place for a coffee. We had Cappuccino, Tea and Hot milk chocolate and one raspberry white chocolate cake. All of them delicious and high quality. The atmosphere is fantastic. It was a recommendation in best coffee shops in a blog post online from Culture Trip but for me is essential that a great coffee shop has Wifi… so if you as a tourist need wifi maybe is not the place :) coffee is great, with beautiful arte latte, I eat a sweet thing and it was ok. Lovely place, extremely weird service but not rude at least (hard to find in Prague!). Not sure if I can recommend it or not but is a good spot to have a rest or a nice chat with someone.

Really cute coffee place, nicely decorated and everything was delicious. I had a winter warmer drink and my partner the lentil soup and a maple drink. They have original drinks here and also the standard tea, coffee, beer and a nice selection of brunch/lunch foods. Highly recommended!

Very nice and cosy place with amazing interior. English and Czech speaking stuff, very nice and friendly. Delicious food, coffee and wine. Definitely not the last visit! You can also buy tea, coffee and other things for preparing tea or coffee at home. I loved the atmosphere inside, cosy armchairs, flowers, books, like when you are home. Worth it!

Great Place to grab a coffee with a delicious breakfast. The ambience is cozy and the staff is very friendly. One of the best Cafés I've been to.

  • 1/5 Ross H. 1 year ago on Google
I really want to like this place. It's close to where I live, aesthetically it looks nice and has a good ambience but more often than not I've left disappointed. It's not cheap and the food, whilst usually good, can be slow. The coffee is ok but like the service it can be a bit hit and miss. (like most places in CZ the cappuccino is often not very hot) I went in today and asked for a cappuccino outside on the terrace. The waitress seemed to be training a new staff member but was friendly enough and said I can just sit down and someone will come out to serve me. So I sat down and waited....after 10 minutes of being ignored I just stood up and left. It wasn't even very busy. What made it worse was the male waiter, who is often there, was standing outside on the street the entire time chatting to a woman. Of the last 3 times I've been there, I've seen him doing this on 2 separate occasions. Meanwhile customers are waiting for service. Very unprofessional.

lovely coffee/tea shop that makes the best London Fog I have found so far in Europe. The location is quite inviting and offer a nice selection of coffees, teas, a food options that demonstrate why it is so popular. Service is friendly and efficient and there is a nice ambiance to be found here. The toilets are small, but kept clean; however, they are located downstairs, which could pose an accessibility issue for some. In addition to the menu, there is a small accessory shop that has everything you will need to brew coffee/tea at home, including various beans and teas to select from. This location is very enjoyable and several repeat visits were warranted.

I love this place and want to go every day. Walk in and delight in the peaceful and artful design! Then, order a coffee and revel in the perfect brew. Even if you didn't think you were hungry, it's impossible to resist the tantalizing display of cakes. Anyway, it was impossible for me. Then you will have to work hard to tear yourself away and head back out into the world for the rest of your day. It's worth it. Also, they're dog-friendly, which is great for us!

Is a great little cafe with some top notch coffee and tea. Friendly staff and quiet area to wake up enjoy a drink and relax. Only complaint is not enough seating and wish there was wifi that didn't have a 15m limit. Other then that I could see this as a normal hang out if I lived in the area. Would go here again because my tea really was on point.

(Translated by Google) Well, surprising experience :( Confused service, they forgot about us with the order, the gentleman tried to remember 3 things, well it failed. The young lady tried to save it and brought us coffee, which was intended for the next table, unfortunately it did not fit completely with our The prices of desserts are crazy (as a confectioner who eats cakes, I can say that for the price they are average in taste.) The biggest disappointment, however, is definitely the service on the spot, I would expect more professionalism from such a famous place. Based on such a visit, I would never order any coffee from them again, fortunately this is not the main criterion for me, just a pity that we invited friends there with the fact that there is nothing better in the area .. Unfortunately error.
