Exceptional bar for exceptional guests: strictly non-smoking and limited to Šumava products (beers, meals, nibbles). Czech version of true Irish pub: rough, small, crowded, open-hearted. Reservation and meekness required.

Small and cozy. It was quiet before my clique arrived. Calming decorations, some stuffed animals. The bloke at the bar has some nerves of a buddha.

Great choice of beers from regional breweries for probably the best prices in Prague. The owner is always very nice, the service is not only professional, but also includes a humane aspect. Heavily recommended, just keep in mind there are not that many tables, so it might be a good idea to make a reservation.

Haven't eaten there. But the micro brewery beers are just amazing, service sooo friendly and heart-warming. Cozy, quite a big menu, next time (and I will definitely go there again) I will try somw original Czech dishes.

If you want a peaceful pub with good clientele great beer - no pilsner urquell rubbish - and an excellent and friendly proprietor - this is the place for you.

They have awesome beers from Sumava and they frequently renew the variation. They do have Ale what is absolutely amazing,. Honza from the Bar is one most friendly guy I the world. Honda happily drafts beer in bottles tlfor take away:) Try the place...

Very nice, non-touristic pub in Vinohrady, with a lot of locally produced products from the Šumava Region north of Prague. Absolutely dedicated owner who serves himself freshly tapped beers, typical Czech food like sausages, along with tasty snacks (I recommend the chips with mustard coating! You never tasted something like that, and definitely not as crunchy!). Rustique ambient, the pub is usually crowded by locals, so if you want to sure, place a reservation. Only small groups up to 6 people, or the entire place for up to approx. 20 guests. Very original, wooden interior, normal tables, also benches and a high table for a fast sip on the way home or to the hotel. I am a regular guest amd have always (!) KLOSTERMANN beer, an amber coloured delicacy with a smooth, round taste.
