This was very close to where we were staying in Prague so we decided to come have a look as we love cats! Sadly when we got in an unpleasant smell hit us very soon. The environment overall felt quite unpleasant too - scratching posts seemed in poor condition, two of the rooms didn't have many spaces the cats could enjoy and we didn't see many toys either. The cats also didn't seem well adjusted to living in a setting with lots of strangers coming in and out - we have visited other cafés where cats were retired if they didn't seem to enjoy lots of attention anymore, here cats seemed a bit unpredictable (I get that all cats are different, that's why not all of them are a good fit for a place like this)! Some of them also didn't look very healthy, although I can't say that I know much about cats' health. Overall a good idea but poor execution, won't be returning :(

What can improve: -a greeting when coming inside the shop -strong smell of cat urine and cat litter -not enough cat toys available -better quality coffee/snacks -pick a theme and logo and stick with it What worked: -lovely cats, pretty friendly and cuddly -other than odor, otherwise clean (bathroom and vacuumed) -lots of space -120 crowns each is reasonable I love cats and cat cafes, these place seemed more like walking into someone’s home with lots of cats. Person opened the door and stared at us, no greeting. Maybe they were having an off day? Immediately strong urine smell. The coffee and snacks are included in admission, but it is a coffee machine and some “meh” snacks. Would prefer better coffee and snacks for an extra price. There are 11 cats I believe, many are friendly and many also hide. Lots of space for them. I find the “diner” decor a bit odd, pictures of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis doesn’t really fit a theme? I think it would be more successful to pick a logo and color scheme, go from there.

It was so good! Really cozy and chill there weren't many people. The cats are from a shelter and absolutely adorable! Of course they don't just go to anyone but they sleep around you and don't mind pets. Overall it was a very relaxing place and the staff was very kind. Definitely recommend!

The place is spacious and the lady who gives an instructions at the door is kind and nice. However, the place really smells bad. I had cats my whole life, but this place smelled so bad of pee that we had to leave at earliest possible time. Which brings me to another thing, the cafe charges by an hour, but the snacks and drinks “included” are really poor. Cats, ironically, are another big problem with this space. We didn’t know they were shelter cats, but took us little to conclude that, as we were not able to pet 90% of them. They are not happy there and if you ever had a cat in your life, you’ll notice that. You simply cannot have shelter cats in this concept. They suffered traumas - Unknown people coming to pet them, I wouldn’t wanna be that cat there either. Especially not in those poor conditions. It is just not worth the visit, especially the money since I was unable to withstand the smell for more than 30mins.

Interesting experience, although the staff is walking on the tables, on your clothes and sometimes even on yourself. They are also not very responsive when trying ot get their attention and can simply ignore you, but they are (sometimes) very friendly. Free coffee, tea, muffins, cookies, and use of Xbox. You pay only per hour of being ignored :)

Relaxed, cozy and cozy at the same time. The cats looked happy and the atmosphere was relaxed. An interesting experience. And it didn't smell bad 😁

This place is Amazing!!!!! The best cat cafe in prague!!!! Super friendly staff and it's such a cozy comfortable place to be in!! It's almost like sitting at home, playing board games, and being surrounded by adorable cats!! Prices are very affordable as well, and we had an amazing time!! You change into slippers and there are warm and cold drinks and snacks available for self-service which is very convenient! Cats are having their best time there, and the open lounge layout means you get to sit with other people and enjoy your time as well! The price is 120 crowns per person per hour which includes all the drinks and snacks, which is an amazing price!! Recommend 100% amazing and so relaxing, it's like therapy with cute cats!! Skip other cat cafes, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE!!!

We found this cafe on the last day of our holiday and it was exactly what we needed! The vibe is so calm and peaceful! The cats are obviously so happy, they come over and investigate you! Some will sit on your lap, some go back to napping. Genuinely reallt lovely! I wish we had found it earlier in our stay!

A piece of heaven in Prrrrrague❤️ It's the best place to relax if you love animals. It's a cozy place with friendly staff, good coffee and cupcakes.❤️ The staff (and the cats) showed us the place and explained us how it works. It's a very relaxing place and feels like home. The cats were playful, curoius and definetely comfortable with us. They are taken care of and they look amazing. They came to us as we arrived and they even jump on your lap for cudles and love. If you really love cats it's the perfect place to go.

In terms of cats, this is 100% the best cat café I've visited. I came here early-ish, and the cats were interactive, jumping around, playing with each other, stealing my muffin wrapper, one even snuggled up to me. The atmosphere is suuuuper chill, with ambient music and a virtual fireplace. It's basically cat-based meditation. The snacks are free (you pay for time spent in the cafe), and supermarket quality, so definitely don't come here for the food. But who cares? I'm here for the adorable kitties who give the impression of living their best lives!

More cats than cafe. The place is cozy, has cats and is paid by the you spend there, with theoretical all you can eat snacks. The price seemed suspiciously low, reason is the coffee is from coffee machine and is honestly terrible, the snacks are assortment of cheap mass produced biscuits. It looks like a decent place where to relax if your like cats. I wanted good coffee and a cake and for that it's very much not a good place.

Awesome place. Very friendly staff. There are about a dozen cats there, most of them are real friendly. I can't compare with other cat cafés but this one is really spacious and cozy. We actually went there twice in two days to get our hit of 'cat time'. Pro tip: our second day, we had the big room to ourselves and at some point, ALL the cats left for the other room in which a family was playing. When the family left, the dad handed me an empty bag of beef jerky and told me that's what had attracted all the cats. We used it, and it definitely works!

Wonderful concept, you pay only for the time spent here, coffee and cookies are included in the price. You have board games and xbox at your disposal, the kitties make wonderful companions. Very relaxing nice place, I love the idea of it.

I have visited all 3 cat cafes in prague and I highly recommend this cat cafe over the other two. The cats here are very friendly and loves to be petted. In comparison to the other 2 cat cafes, the cats here are more relaxed and active. The best thing are the cats jumping on your shoulder to cuddle with you. The cafe is good. But don't expect fancy snacks.

Didn’t even know there’s a car cafe in Europe. It was so nice and relaxing. You can just come here and pet cats, it’s awesome! It’s 120 crowns per hour with drinks and snacks included. Very cute and lovely place :3

You come in, the awful smell hits you immediately, you have to wear slippers they offer you, but you don't know if they're clean. The person helping you really looked like they didn't want to be there and said nothing. They make NO rules to not pet the cats if they are sleeping or scared. It looks like they have no safe space to be if they don't want to be around people. I'm not sure if the cats are up for adoption, but i hope they don't have to spent their life in this stinky hole with no possibility to be at ease.

The cafe is very spacious, some of the cats are super duper friendly while the others are having sassy attitudes. The rooms were very cold when we visited but I guess they're keeping the windows open for the ventilation of the place. I'd love to come back in our future trips to Prague.

Lovely and friendly cats! Be careful with the orange one though, takes time to ease in to. Maybe misunderstood or careful due to trauma, but very cuddling once accustomed to you or sees you being friendly with other cats. The three black ones are really funny and hyper. So fun to watch and play with. The gray ones were pretty chill. Nice to lounge with them. Lots of lap action as well as long as you aren't too aggressive. Sir back and relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Cheers!

Quite a few cats, that seem to be saved from the streets. Feel at home kind of atmosphere, as you can make hot drinks and take snacks on your own. It is payed per hour, and works kind of like an all you can eat buffet, with cats. The house rules are a little weird, as you have to ring a bell, to get in, and take your shoes and jacket off at the entrance. Pretty good experience.

I'm really glad I found this place. Over the years, I have been here a few times now, over the years, I have also attended cat cafes in different cities. What can I say? This CatCafePrague seems the most comfort one and it's really a great place to spend some time there after a sightseeing trip in Praha or just to relax. It also seems to adopt the japanese idea of cat cafes the most, you have different rooms to stay and take a seat. Friendly staff and a more than fair price value for all the things what you get there, good coffee or tea and of course there are the cats, the furry staff, in all colours, and each of them just will be in your heart within a few minutes. I only can recommend!

A lot of very cute cats. Some shy, some more adventurous. The rooms are large and cool, so a great stop in the middle of the day. There is a cat urine smell, which is somewhat to be expected, so it didn't bother me too much. It is 120 CZK per person for an hour with free tea, coffee, lemonade, cookies and muffins. Totally worth it!

It was my first visit to a Cat café, I really loved the theme, we got nice instructions at the entrance. There is an Xbox room, cat playground room, and living room, as well as the little kitchen area, you can take tea or coffee, candy, biscuits and it is not expensive. I bought the most adorable key chain as a souvenir. The cats are simply amazing, I cuddled and played with most od them.

Great place to meet friends. It has a nice atmosphere, a large number of cats and they are accustomed to people.

It is a lovely place, you can feel that the cats are very well taken care of, they have lots of cuddly space and couches to room around. Really great atmosphere compared to other crowded cats cafe I have visited. Staff was very friendly and acomodating. Refreshments, included in the price are basic store bought, but nice to have. Entry fee is ok, just a bit pricey that I had to pay the same fee for my only 1 year old little one.

very nice atmosphere and cute cats. fruit tea really good. place has a specific smell yes, but it's not as bad as people say, barely noticeable after a while. for that price you could expect slightly better cookies, however.

Very cute atmosphere. Staff was very polite and kind. Cats are the best, cute, well-groomed and friendly. Cats have everything what they need and even more. People can play boardgames, drink coffee/tea and eat muffins which are already included in price. After the cafe I had good mood all day :) thank you!

Lovely cat cafe! We came in here before we went to the airport and the environment was perfect for cats. They had comfy sofas, relaxing jazz on and a fireplace. There were also plenty of toys and cat trees to keep the cats entertained. The atmosphere was very peaceful and there were 3 rooms for the cats to freely roam in - meaning they could get away if needed. The cats seemed happy and I managed to share my lap with 3 of them. I just sat and allowed them to approach when they felt comfortable enough. Such a lovely space, where the cats are the priority. There is also a section where you can help yourself to refreshments that are free of charge.

Lovely place, friendly atmosphere and it's nice to know the cats are shelter cats who now have a good and safe life. The cats were playful and friendly. Unlike other cat cafés, this is a self serve place. It has a coffee machine (or tea if you prefer) and you can have as much as you like, plus some cookies and small cupcakes. The price was very fair, and it wasn't busy / gimmicky as some other cat cafés I've visited in the past. If you love cats, this is the place for you!

Very nice place for cat lovers. You have to pay for the time you spend at the place and can drink coffee, tea, water, ... for free. Also some snacks like cookies and muffins are available. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean and inviting. There is plenty of space for the 11 cats and they also have a place of retreat. Absolutely nice place to go if you love cats.

Personally, this was my first time ever going to a cat café, and wow, what an amazing introduction to this concept! The staff is amazingly kind and helpful, the cats are adorable (albeit a bit shy and I couldn't get them to purr), and even not counting the cats, it's just overall a pleasant place to spend an afternoon in, with all the entertainment, snacks and drinks. You can go alone and chill with a book or a video game, or you can go together with someone and play board games or just talk (I did the former). The prices are affordable too, which is incredible considering the chaos that 2020 brought to cafés everywhere. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! If you can, please support the café by buying merch or simply donating, they'd appreciate it. P.S. Don't be surprised by the smell when you first enter, it's bound to happen when you have a lot of animals indoors, but you get used to it in half an hour and then it's not noticeable anymore.

Very cute cats! There was a certain smell there when we were here but it could have just been a bad day. The cats were very friendly, active and cuddly, eventhough we didn't have any snacks. We love to come back sometime :)

Beautiful place, cats are friendly, you can pet them or play with them, they'll enjoy. It's not too expensive (125kč for 1 our) and you can eat and drink what you want (biscuits, muffins, bread, orange juice, coffee ecc). There are different rooms all full of cats, tables, couches ecc. Recommended :)

Very cute cats and seemed very well taken care of, don't bite and most of them don't even need to smell you before letting you pet them and don't mind you petted other cats before. Coffee machine is good and the small cookies and snacks are nice, they also have cute magnets as a reminder/gift

  • 5/5 daniel v. 1 year ago on Google
You only pay for the time spent with the cats. It's 120kč for the 1st hour and then 1kč per minute after that. The food, coffee and drinks are complimentary. For food they mostly have cookies and cupcakes and snacks. You're welcome to come back for more and have as much as you would like while spending quality time with the kitties. The cats here are so friendly and will come to you for pets and love. They have cat toys, and grooming brushes as well as a lint brush to get the cat fur off you afterwards. They also sell cat themed soaps, candles, and buttons to help support to cats.

We stayed just a little time, but it was very nice and if I had more time I would spend hours in there. The place is very confy and sweet, it really seems a house. The owner and the cats are very sweet. If you are looking for a place to relax eating muffins, taking coffee and spend time with a lot of cute cats is the perfect place.

We came around 4pm, the owner seemed like a really nice guy, other than that there were sadly not many positive things. A lot of people with children, they let them run around, scream and terrorize the cats. The cats were visibly stressed and some were even a bit aggressive (which is VERY understandable). The food was mid, cheap snacks, tea, a small coffee machine with 3 coffee options (not a big coffee person, so I can't tell if the coffee was good, I think it was average) but unlimited amount and good for introverts, since you make your own coffee, which is nice. We spent most of our time in the cat room which stinked a bit (the window was open, tho) but was the only chill room. No cats wanted to hang out for a longer time, petted a few, the rest were just not having it. Poor things, at least they have their own space where they can hide. The rules were not followed by many, as I said before, children under 8 touched the cats all the time, hit them with the toys etc. Before leaving I approached the owner and asked if the cats are always so stressed, he said it's a busy day and that they can hide whenever they want to, so I hope this doesn't happen often. I advise not allowing children to enter, at least not under 12-13ish. Thank you for your service, will come earlier next time, hopefully it will be better! :D

Honestly this is the best cat cafe me and my partner have ever been too, and we have been to quiet a lot with me being a crazy cat lady The cats are clearly well looked after and have so much room to roam around in 3 massive rooms which is amazing. The cats are all beautiful and we had plenty of time with them they come to you they sat on us and love a good fuss. We enjoyed it so much that we came back twice. I think it's lovely that they provide you with drinks and biscuits for 120 czh which is basically £4 for an hour it's so worth it. Please if you are a cat or animal lover you will love this place 🐱🐱
