Broadway Theatre, Prague/The Nutcracker/Dec 23 Don't waste your money. This performance will put you off ballet for life, if it your first time. No panache about the theater. Was handed a hand written paper slip as verified ticket for entry. They were just herding in unsuspecting tourists to the slaughter! The bar takes only cash, so you can't even drown the pain you are about to be inflicted in cheap beer or wine they serve, if you rely on digital means to pay for things. The production was awful with poor set and lighting. Music and dance was poorly synced and painful to watch. The dancers, most of them, appeared to have just been pulled off the street that night to perform. It was not Ballet!! The dancers had their wigs falling off and costumes falling apart at very compromising parts. A couple of dancers were good, but they were in minor roles. The lead characters were awful to watch. It was more like a first year dance college performance, when the dancers had just started to learn. What a scam! And waste of money & time. I wanted to introduce one of my daughters to the joy of ballet, but unfortunately, it might now be hard to convince her to see another performance. What a travesty! This company, I guess, only survives because of the tourists in a city like Prague.

Avoid this show! It is devoid of poetry, has childish scenery, is embarassingly performed - to such an extent that it at best becomes involuntarily amusing. A tourist trap and a sad waste of money.

It is cheap version of national theatre nutcracker especially one at broadway . It’s description is misleading and if you missed on national theatre ticket don’t buy this one. It’s most overpriced thing in Prague. Music is audio the scenography and costumes non existent. This feels like fast put together show to sell to people who simply didt get the ticket to actual theatre. Read description very carefully and you will see how little it say about the actual performance. Just no.

I'm not sure what to think of this one. The idea is quite interesting, performers in glowing costumes on a pitch black stage with black light. But the dances are unimaginative and repetitive, the story is very lofty and boring at times, and it's just not very engaging overall. Great idea, mediocre execution.

Terrible and rude management, tried to cancel the reservation due to bad reviews. However, got absolute nothing. Didn’t even go to the show, and encourage you to not even bother make reservations.

Unfortunately not a show for adults. It’s a great experience for any parents that have kids in this ballet, but it’s definitely not something to pay for and not a professional performance. The kids did great, but wouldn’t recommend this while visiting Prague.

Nutcracker 27th December in Prague. Awful play I can't even call a ballet. Don't waste your money. Handwritten piece of paper as a ticket and no orchestra. The production was low quality with poor set and lighting. Music and dance was poorly synced and painful to watch. The dancers, most of them, appeared to have just been pulled off the street that night to perform - some even can't do a split or stand on the tip of their toes. It was not Ballet!! The lead characters were awful to watch. It was more like a first year dance college performance, when the dancers had just started to learn. What a scam! And waste of money & time. Spoilt evening and worst Nutcracker of my life

It was really a great show! I recommend to come earlier to find good seats as there is no reservation for that. However, it was really too loud, I was about to leave the show. Nevertheless, I would come again because the performance was impressive and there was a lot of interaction with the audience.

Excellent. Show, ideal for the whole family, really love how such entertainment can be performed using such simple techniques with lights, props and costumes, well worth. Visit if you are in Prague

We travelled from England and this was our first experience with black light theatre. We were a group of 5- 3 adults and 2 teenagers and really enjoyed the show. The costumes and dancing were good and the interactive audience parts made us laugh a lot. Thanks for a memorable night!

A rather disappointing adventure. The light show takes about 65 minutes (which is fine) and costs 23€ per person. We would have appreciated if the artists would be more in sync. This would have boosted the dark light experience! Thus now, we got the impression ,the show would be great if performed by pupils but those were professionals.

It is a wonderful experience, loved the fact that even it is accessible to everyone and it does make you feel like a little kid again. The sound is a little too loud in my opinion, but the people I was with disagreed, so that sounds like a me problem.

Eine sehr schöne Show.

We have been watching nutcracker on Christmas time for over 7 years. Been to many good ones. This one is definitely the worst one…theater is old and not very friendly staff. They told us to seat anywhere but it wasn’t the case… you have to pay cash for cost check and people attending this event was weird. Taking shoes off, eating potato chips, talking, reading programs with cell phone camera light…ballet it self was terrible as well. Totally not synched, outfit is terrible, …do not recommend spending money on nutcracker at this theater… we eben had vip seats and the experience was underwhelming.

Nice place. Not so glamorous, as " Divadlo na Karlíně ", but ok. A big inconvenience - it is not possible to pay by card in the cafe, it's very strange and terribly uncomfortable! So

Went to see The Nutcracker on 25th of December but cannot recommend it. Felt like a typical tourist trap. Expensive and not worth the money A boring theatre and as a whole it felt very cheap.

This is a SCAM! It was AWFUL, by far the worst thing I have ever seen! It was merely a bunch of laymen talentlessly jumping around without any sort of story or purpose to it. Horrible and embarrassing! The theater was not even dark enough for it to be an actual proper black light performance. It was even barely a children's show. Omg I can not believe I fell for this.

Nothing good, costumes look very old, the story is very simple, some scenes have no sense. The sounds very bad quality and voice terrible. Not recommend for the price

No synchronization. 600 czk is way too much ... The only positive point is that you get a bottle of water free of charge and that you'll get bumped with balloons freely :) Good luck for the next sessions !

Had some very good parts... some not so much. Worth a watch. My first Black Light Theatre so not sure if there are better ones (there are lots all over the city).

Great show! It is a perfect performance for kids and adults! The only drawback for us was the late hour of the show. Nevertheless we all enjoyed it and we can recommend it!

My partner and I decided to go to this show during our visit in Prague. We bought it through "get your guide" and paid about £40. Overall, we were really disappointed and felt like we had wasted our money. You get a glowstick and and bottle of water as you go in - nice touch. It started off well but then the performance became quite boring as it was a repetition of similar music. The 'story' (if there is one) is hard to follow. Especially towards the end it seemed very random. Several groups of people got up and left whilst the performance was still going. If we had been on the end of a row and not disturbing others then we would have done so. Perhaps this is more for younger children and not for all.

I loved the show! I was really excited that I got to experience it! It was definitely something different, something I have never seen before. I was constantly laughing!! I also really liked the interaction we had with the people performing while the show was taking place. 5 out of 5!!!!!

Introvert rating: 8/10 - there is minimal engagement with the audience, it's all non-verbal, and it shouldn't bother you in any way. It's pretty magical, solid entertainment and good value for the price.

Not a recommended experience at all!! Very boring and hard to follow. Felt like it was for children. Turist trap and not worth the visit at all. We got up and left half way through and so did 4 other groups of people

Im sorry I never comment on anything but it felt like I had to. We went to the WOW show and do never go. 20€ for a very mediocre show. The dancers are obv no dancers. The technique is bad the synchrony is even worse. No real scenario, not the best music and nothing about the black and light play was impressive. Honestly disappointed and wouldn’t recommend.
