😠 I wouldn't buy anything here again. I payed 40 Ck for a simple vegan round gingerbread while a friend payed 25 for a gingerbread man. Both were very dry and didn't taste like much, I feel like I got ripped off. People often mention gingerbread, shop, cookies, museum, visit, great, good, nice, cookie, small,

Was surprised it was called a museum since it looked more like a bakery than anything. They make their own gingerbread and sell them. There are lots of different and interesting forms available throughout the shop. There are also a few which are immaculately decorated. One side has the pre-packaged stuff while the counter has the single cookies. There is also a small shop at the back of the museum. Quite an interesting stop particularly if you like gingerbread.

If all the Trdlo in the area didn’t convince you to drop your diet, this shop is a great place to finally do that :) The shop smells amazingly, and is filled with all kinds and shapes of gingerbread, and not only, but also other sweets and some cooking tools. The product is great either for presents or personal regular consumption.

Very sad and disappointed. Spent almost $40 to bring home gingerbread for my family and husband’s birthday this weekend. The lady checking me out was very cold and crammed all of my cookies into a small paper bag. When I asked for a bag to put them in as the paper bag had no handles and was awkward to carry, she rolled her eyes at me. My husband’s birthday gingerbread man has a broken leg from this and the frosting is crushed. Please take more care of your beautiful cookies to ensure your guests and their loved ones can enjoy your cookies. Not the service I would expect for the price.

Wonderful place to go! Beautiful gingerbread creations. Is it a museum? Is it a store? Why not both! There's plenty to see and plenty to buy (and eat). Our whole party had a great time and had lots of fun. Staff was friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy. Highly recommended as a way to spend some time. Be sure to being your camera!

Not really a museum but a shop offering a variety of gingerbread which are all dry and not really gingery. It gets crowded with people, but you won't need much time in here.

Beautiful looking ginger bread. I purchased a few pieces for family so fingers crossed they taste good. I'd recommend purchasing the plastic wrapped gingerbread and not the ones uncovered.. There were a no of wasps all around them, very off putting. The items are pricey for what they are but it's a nice gift to take home.

(Translated by Google) I made an original icing cookie (^. ^) Why did you come to the Czech Republic and why are you making cookies? Even though I thought, the uncle of the shop and the aunt were both smiling and good people, the shop and the cookies were cute, and it became a very good memory when I remembered later. Take great care not to break the cookies you made and take it home to Japan as a souvenir for your family. I was pleased (^.

Good place to visit with really nice gingerbread that is personally made by the owner. Excellent selection with biscuit, sweets, beers and wines. They also offer arts and crafts sessions to build your own gingerbreads, but this wasn’t available during our visit. The biscuits were delicious. Definitely worth a visit and purchase.

We came during December and the feels is very Chrismassy. The whole shops smells Christmas from the oven to the ginger breads. Everything in the shop was either as a gift or for personal. The cookies were light and delightful with tea or coffee. A must visit when in town.

The place is a delight to visit, with its cute goods and enticing smell of fresh-baked cookies. The gingerbread cookies themselves, however, are not that great. They are lacking in flavor.

A must visit during the Christmas period. The ginger bread creations are beautiful, and it tastes good too. Granted, everyohas different tastes, their gingerbread is not very rich in spices, and it has a texture of a cookie. This is what we prefer, but you might be disappointed if you expect a different type of gingerbread. Still an interesting shop that catches the eye when you walk past it.

(Translated by Google) The place is so cute and typical. There are a lot of choices (either to bring back memories or for the moment). We had gingerbread to eat straight away, the shapes and casts are very beautiful and varied! (visit made in February 2020) (Original) L’endroit est trop mignon et typique. (Translated by Google) Definitely worth a visit. We were in Prague after Christmas, we were looking for Czech cookies everywhere. We did not have it in the markets, we did not make it to Jiřák's markets, where we knew they had it. Here in this little shop we found. Perhaps the best candy I've ever eaten ..! Although the price is quite crazy (30, - / pc, yes really for one small piece of candy) but it is definitely worth it. I recommend stuffed walnut and wasp hives. Doporučuji plněný ořech a vosí úly. TOP

A really nice gingerbread bakery and store. Well worth your time to come by here and buy a little gingerbread for yourself, and a fun gift idea for those back home if you are visiting Prague. The personal are friendly and helpful, they are always busy making gingerbread and decorating with coloured icing. Reasonable prices also.

Actually a shop, not a museum. But lovely gingerbread in all sorts of designs

  • 1/5 b. 5 years ago on Google
This would get five stars if the rating was for decorated gingerbread. But given I bought plain...undecorated gingerbread cookies...then the rating is about taste. Unfortunately, the taste was a non event and the cookie was dry...dry enough to choke you with a glass of milk. I had bought two in my optimistic choice making...after the second bite...tossed the remaining part of the cookie and the whole cookie in the trash. Then...upon returning to my room...I pulled out the almond cookies I bought. Big...thick...tasteless. I’m sure this shop depends on tourist that walk by once. I am equally sure locals that walk by often don’t stop at all. Sorry...the cookies went into the trash as well...

(Translated by Google) A tourist trap for me ... I thought about taking some nice souvenirs from here, but the prices are an impertinence! For a gingerbread heart (which is painted WHOLE SIMPLE) approx. 5x5 cm almost 5 € ??!? There were some great things too, but these things DO NOT justify these staggering prices! Apart from that, there are a lot of tourists here, so not very inviting to go shopping here. In Prague there are really better ways to spend your money! So if you want to buy beautiful gingerbread at prices with tourist surcharge, this is the right address ... But everyone as he wants. Oh, and it's not a museum either!

👍👍 For me, the best place to eat in Prague. Not only drinks, but also foods arrive at your table on trains. On some tables, trains return to even take empty plates! On top of that - the food is delicious, same goes for drink. The staff is very kind and polite. I definitely recommend this place.
