Great place to spend time with kids. Book half a day for it. Several floors. Is it the roof to get one of the best views of Prague and see a lot of currently cultivated plants.

We loved the museum, great exhibition for different ages, kids enjoyed playing fishing and supermarket, the roof garden is beautiful, and the yard is very entertaining and offers some food and drinks. Unfortunately, the tractor exhibition, which my children were so enjoying, was spoiled by an employee constantly following our steps and saying something hardly understandable. When I asked what was the matter (in Czech), he answered that we should put the vehicles back to their spaces (kids were still riding and there were a lot of free vehicles at that moment). I assured him that we’ll return the vehicles when kids will finish, but he continue to follow us, so the kids felt they’re doing something wrong and asked to leave the exhibition. I need to mention that this employee did not wear any face mask. I spent next 15 minutes trying to explain my kids why he is allowed not to wear a mask/respirator and we still have to, and also why the employee behaved in such strange way. I would appreciate if the next time we would have the possibility to just enjoy the museum.

I like this museum. Although some of the exhibits are not working, overall, I enjoyed and learned a lot. It combines science, history, and czech culture. If you are just starting to learn the czech language, the 3rd floor devoted to gastronomy is perfect to learn new words and apply what you have learned. The view of Prague from the rooftop is amazing. 😄

It actually has potential to be a great museum. There are lots of cool, interactive exhibits that are mostly geared to children, but the staff spoil the experience. There are grouchy old ladies in every section of every floor telling the kids "no, no, no". I saw one little girl get lectured to clean up her mess in the play area, while she was still playing - LOL. In one section the lady followed my son around to see what he would get into. The museum has a lot going for it, but maybe the staff are trying too hard to recreate the charm of a Communist-era collective.

Only worth visiting if you speak Czech and know NOTHING about agriculture. There were almost no info posts in English and for the stuff that were, it was basic highschool level knowlage, didn't see anything I didn't already know. Ironically, when we arrived there was a highschool trip taking place.

Very nice for children - 5 floors of fun interactive exposition. Admission is Free for kids up to 18. An adult 150 kc. There is also nice garden in the museum with carousel and chickens running around. The view from the rooftop on all Prague is spectacular. In the garden you can have your lunch or eat in the nice cozzy restaurant. Food was good and I got the best salad in czech republic in 13 years that I live here. Enjoy 😁

Nice museum with lots of activities for younger children. Great views from the roof. The tractor area is great, however it is spoiled by the grumpy old man who supervises it. We got there 10 minutes before closing and he wouldn't let our children play on the tractors. He also kept complaining to us about a stroller that had been left there, even after we told him it wasn't ours. I don't understand why someone who clearly doesn't like children choses to work here. Such a shame as it spoiled our visit.

I spent two and a half hours here, finishing only three out of four floors, but you can easily spend around five hours here. It’s a modern museum with several interactive section for kids, on a variety of interesting topics around agriculture—including food history.

The most rude employee ever, old 'lady' with glasses, who started arguing with us and with my 15 months old baby in czech and after in english. We were there with my baby and my mother. My baby ofcourse was all the time with us, walking next to me, holding our hands because she has just beggining to walk. We were at other part of this room and this 'lady' came to us and really rude way started to argue with us, i told her i dont understand, and she asked which langueage what we speak, answer was only english and mother langueage. And she started list languages what she knows disdainfully. In this room was one other family with older kids, but they were too in other part. The lady started to speak in poor english and we did not really understand. She told us -when we showed to my baby some other parts of the exibition - we have to go with her now... We went because we did not know what she wanted to tell or show us. She instructed my 15 months old to pack up all the toys (about 40 wooden toys, where kids role play in shop) with aggressive face, and my baby did not understand what she was talking about. We tought she was just kidding, but we did not understand why she so aggressive is. We ask why she wants to my daughter to do this. She told us it is not her job it is my dautger's job. And "not possible" to do this what baby did.. Whaaaaat? She is not able to do that what was there, because she is small. (older kinds can do it only for sure) We told her we even was not there or see this toys before, and baby was not there too because of she is not allowed to walk alone just we wanted to go there some minutes later. She told us she does not care we did it she has to do it immidiatelly. Started tossing toys to their place. I told her again we did not even touch anything there. I think it is not appropriate speak with guest like this and with baby... I dont know how she dare to speaks like that who even was not there never before. Firstly she need to ask but did not do it. And if we tell her we did not make the mess she has to tell us sorry or just not argruing more and tell us we have to do. We went to reception to complain about it,and they told understand it and sorry.. but i would like to be sure other people with baby not find themself in situation like this, somebody aggressive with their baby for no reason, if she was rude only just with us i would let it go, but with baby who feels everybody mood and see somebody aggressive behavior towards to them. Nobody is allowed to do with a small innocent baby!!!!!! We paid 300 czk for that really bad day with baby.

Interesting museum with a lot of things to do for children. If you're there with a pram, expect delays at the elevators. One problem is that parking anywhere near this museum and the technical museum next door is often impossible. Try going there by tram if you can.

It is not worth it. It looks like it is mostly for children and unlike its neighbor (Technical Museum) this one has mostly nothing to offer for adults

  • 1/5 Andrei I. 2 years ago on Google
This is a truly useless museum. Don't go there if you expect something to see. It's definitely targeting kids but even for them it's mostly boring. If you want to visit an awesome museum just avoid this one and go to the one next door, the Techical museum.

  • 5/5 E N. 3 years ago on Google
(Translated by Google) Splendor! We liked it even more than in the Technical Museum, above all the expositions are interactive - eg agriculture, fishing - so the children will get their money's worth. Gastronomy was closed due to coronavirus, but we didn't mind. A beautiful garden at the very top of the terrace and a very nice courtyard outside behind the museum, where there is a carousel, a wooden swing, animals, a tractor, but you will also find refreshments here. We will definitely be back again! Thank you for a very beautiful Sunday afternoon! :-)

Interactive exhibition with loads of games and quizes. It is interesting for children and adults too. They provide english texts. The whole museum was very interesting, however some parts could use some improvements, since half of the building is empty. The view from the rooftop is excellent!

A good experience overall but there are some flaws. First of all, the guy at the reception was not the nicest fella and he did not know English. In addition, many of the exhibitions do not have English translation, limiting the choices of a tourist. However, the exhibitions that were in English were decent and enjoyable. I would recommend it if someone finds himself/herself in this part of Prague.

Really nice and interesting place, perfect to spend couple of hours with the kids. It shows the agricultural history and nature of Czech Republic. At least once you must go

  • 5/5 Katka 8 months ago on Google
A fun experience for all ages with exhibitions about forestry, fishing, evolution of farming, water management, food, food packaging and recycling. The curators managed to present each theme in both very educational as well as interactive and playful ways. The underground exhibition of old tractors with possibility to borrow (for free) small plastic pedal tractors or running bike - type ones is surely a hit with little kids, as well as the miniscule farm in the museum backyard with some chickens, pigeons and hares, closely followed by playing shopping with pretend play food or plasticine baking. For older kids there is a tractor simulator, some farming simulator PC games and lots of interactive stations with games and quizzes. Really worth a visit.

It's a great museum to visit with young and a bit older children. There's things for everyone. The interactive level is really high. It's very child friendly. I really wonder if the government is trying to get kids into agriculture to get more farmers in the future. 😂 The basement exhibition is a really great place to start as the small kids can burn their energy. There's also a really nice climbing playground in the fishing level.

  • 5/5 Patrik P. 1 year ago on Google
The best and cheapest " indoor playground". Extensive exposition of everything related to agriculture. A lot of interactive displays for kids, from babies to older school kids. You can spend the entire day and not cover everything there. Kids younger than 18 got free entrance.

  • 4/5 Levente V. 1 year ago on Google
Nice, interesting and interactive exhibition, that is fun for kids and adults too. The thing, that I didn`t like, that the parking there is very poor (there was a big parking lot, that was closed) and a 5 story building, with only one functioning elevator (the other one is closed) is have to visit with a stroller.

Have little kids? Bring them!! It’s heaven for littles here with tons of fun activities and displays - little play cooking stations, play houses, a small ball pit, interactive games, even a small petting zoo. On top of that lots of adults too and tons of info. Most is in Czech but some displays are in English too. Oh - there’s a great view of the city up top.

Absolutely marvellous! Some places are outdated, but generaly amazing! Full of basic experiments for children, sensoric experiences, good grasp on interdependances between economy and the nature. I'd rather skip first floor with hunting exposition, but all others are on quite good lavel. Best museum in Prague for children, both for play and education.

It was an interesting visit to the museum. The museum has 3 floors with different exhibitions like hunting, fishing, inventions like agriculture and water, gastronomy. The top floor is on the roof - it is a roof garden and a great view on the city. One can find it really interesting due to a large ammount of interactive boards, quizzes, game simulators. I myself spent more than 2 hours there)

(Translated by Google) On the recommendation, we went to the museum, the children said that there are a lot of interactive games, etc .. yes, it is, but the people who do security .. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Why? Especially in -1 there are 2 "super" guard grandfathers, who absolutely dropped the whole impression of the museum (right after their arrival) .. and it would also be nice to make a place for food and drink in the giant empty corridors, and not be always under supervision and scolding. 🤬🤯
