This museum is an interesting place to see very far back into Apple‘s history. I enjoyed seeing the early development stages of some product lines and was even surprised to see a few things that I didn’t even know Apple was making... like Printers :D Unfortunately though, the timeline here doesn’t go very far into the present. I think it would be cool if they keep updating the museum with Apple‘s latest products... but then again: it’s a museum. Still, not even being able to see the technological jump to, for example, the iPhone X - despite it being such a significant milestone - is rather disappointing. Other than that, the museum covers pretty much everything that Apple has ever made. Kudos to that. But at the end of the day it is still only one company. Depending on how deep you are willing to go into the extra details, your visit can last as little as 20 to 30 minutes. It’s going to be hard to recommend this museum to everyone. You‘d have to be very much into Apple and/or into tech history. If you are, this museum can be an interesting visit.

It turns out that Prague is home to the biggest private exhibition of Apple’s products in the world. In the heart of the Czech Republic capital city's Old Town, the Apple Museum takes you through 41 years of the company's fascinating history. As well as displaying almost every Apple product ever made, the museum is a tribute to the California company's late cofounder, Steve Jobs. Portraits of Jobs cover the museum's walls and his quotes are everywhere.

The Prague Apple Museum, opened in October 2015, is located near Charles Bridge. It contains the world's largest private collection dedicated to the American company Apple, which has made a breakthrough in the field of computer technology. The museum halls are divided into thematic sections, which are dedicated to one or more Apple products, the life of Steve Jobs and his side projects Next and Pixar. In total, the museum collection contains 472 exhibits, covering the period from 1976 to 2012. In the next room, all of the company's computers are presented in chronological order - from the first Apple I to the controversial Macbook Pro with Retina display. A separate room is occupied by a full range of iPods and iPhones, which can be used to trace the metamorphoses that have occurred with gadgets since their inception. Of course, the collection also includes an iPod with collectible discs as part of the exclusive limited edition Beatles Collector’s Box. Visitors to the Apple Museum will be able to see all iBook, PowerBook and MacBook products, as well as models of little-known digital cameras, printers, digital assistants and other computer accessories that Apple has released over several decades of its activity. It should be noted that the tour of the museum is led by multimedia guides in 9 languages.

I recommend to everyone visiting this museum not only if you like Apple and tech stuff in general but also because this is the only one in the world! They have nearly every apple product from the beginning to 2012 and their web guide is awesome. The employees are also very helpful. Huge respect to the owner and the manager of the place, you are doing and awesome job! I really enjoyed my time here and I want to come back next year, when the expansion is done.

As a software engineer and self confessed fan bwoy of Macs, I was most impressed with the collection of Apple computers, laptops and phones in the museum. I thought the entry price was a little, well, pricey. Especially for Prague where there's loads of museums priced more local. All the models of the earliest Apple computers to present day laptop are on display with just the right about of information about each to be interesting and some techie information that would never bore someone like me. They even had a model of an Apple computer I used by my university, the first Apple computer I had to write some software for, the first Apple Mac laptop I ever bought and the one I currently use. Brings back a lot of happy memories.

I enjoyed the museum. However I was left wanting more. And it has not been updated since 2013 or so (based on the time lines). Being familiar with the Apple story. It was nice to see all the different tech and explain different stories to my wife. If you have especially in their teens it'll be nice to show them the build up and work that was put in to reach to the device most of them have in their hands today.

Small museum but all Apple history is here. Pleasant staff. All generations of products are exposed in illuminated rooms. From the beginning to nowadays, Apple fan will be fascinated by products they didn’t know the existence. There are exclusive parts in this museum, I’ve never seen them elsewhere.

(Translated by Google) A stupid museum, and to be more precise, not even a museum. There is no story here that the author of the exhibition wants to convey to visitors. Here are the biggest comments: - there is no description of the exhibits on the exhibits themselves, only online. And every time to get into the phone, find the required stand number, press, wait until it loads - it is very long and inconvenient. I think that there is enough space on the stands to post the same information that is available online, at least in two languages, Czech and English - the stories of the exhibits online are poorly written, there is no thread that would connect them. An example, a computer cost $ 5000 and the story says that it was a phenomenal success, after 10 computers there is the next model, which cost $ 1500 and the story says that the model failed because of its price. So, probably not because of the price the model failed, but because of something else. - in a room with a screen where videos are shown, very good audibility from other rooms and as a result, the volume of the videos themselves is not enough - no computer interface is shown, you can hang iPads next to the stands, where there would be videos showing what the interface was like in 1979 and beyond - often in the descriptions the story sounds "revolutionary" and so on, but in fact nothing is described that made this or that model revolutionary. For children who are now 10-14 years old, the computer itself no longer carries any revolutionary spirit, they grew up with them. Therefore, it is necessary to describe in detail why this or that model was a breakthrough of its time, to tell what the world was like, what the competitors had, what each new model gave to the user and how it was actually used. People are now not looking at the MHz of their processors. Well, we doubled the frequency in some year of some kind of processor and what? What was the real profit for the industry and the real home user? Apple has a very rich history and you can talk about it endlessly, but after 30 minutes it became very boring in the 'museum', although the collection is very large and good. Please work on the content of your stories and show the interfaces of computers from those years, this will qualitatively improve your exposure.

Incredible museum for computer geeks and Apple enthusiasts. It is very well laid out. There is even a mobile phone based guided system that is included as part of the admissions. The museum walks you through the history of the company from founding up until roughly 2013. It is very family friendly. All proceeds from the ticket price go towards charity.

A superb museum to visit if you are into technology, Silicon Valley stories or just Apple itself. A very decent collection with lots of information. A tour guide is available on their free wifi network containing everything you want to know. It's a bit much at the end but there is a part where you can sit down for a while and watch videos, old commercials of Apple. It's a pity that the tour ends around the year of 2012, it would be nice to see an extension for nowdays! Definitely recommend, you can easily spend 1-1.5hrs here if you are a somewhat techie person.

The museum was really good even for those that don't strongly like Apple. It is really cool to see the history of a company that has instramental in the direction of technology in the past decades and see where they have started. The museum is arranged so you can walk the history of Apple from the start and see how it evolved including the ups and downs. At one point ~1998 the stock was $3.11! It is well worth the trip make sure you check it out

A small but excellent museum with a free guide you can access in your phone. It’s filled with Apple gadgets such as the first mac to a replica of Steve jobs BMW motorbike. Prices is reasonable and there’s not crowded. Will definitely recommend this place

Good collection and good description of the history of Apple up the the year 2012. With the digital guide via smartphone and the amount of original collectors items it makes for an interesting visit for anyone at least mildly interested in Apple products of old.

Cool! I recommend to visit it, only of you have time to read and go through all 50 exhibitions. I liked the modern guide approach based on public WiFi. Follow the guidelines lines and pay attention: the stickers on the floor are sometimes exhibition as well! Cool place, cool history. Totally recommend!

If you're a fan of Apple products, this is the place for you. If you're interested in the history of the technology that impacts all our lives, this is an insight into one of the world's most successful tech companies. As you might expect, it's a high tech museum (the displays are explained via WiFi on your own mobile device) and as well as revealing the early days of Apple, it's a history of Steve Jobs (though it does skirt around some of the more controversial aspects of his life). And it also reveals the true story behind the phrase "Apple Macintosh". A bit expensive but great fun.

I recommend this place for the lovers of apple. Apple until 2012? The history of the museum only until 2012, apple died after 2012?? There are many historical things at this place, you can see apple from the start and until 2012. Very interesting for people that love apple and want to know how it started!
