We went on a boat ride which was very nice and informative. Access to the museum was included in the boat ride. The history of the Charles bridge is described among other things. Very interesting. They serve cake and coffee as well.

I can not call here a real museum. It's small only with four rooms and a few old things. I don't recommend buying a ticket.

Nice little museum on the history of the Charles bridge. It wasn't super informative and smaller than I thought, but still an interesting place if you like architectural history.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Charles Bridge Museum during my trip to Prague, and I must say it was a captivating experience that immersed me in the rich history and culture of this iconic landmark. Here's my review of the Charles Bridge Museum: Upon entering the museum, I was immediately struck by the impressive collection of artifacts and exhibits on display. The museum beautifully showcases the history and significance of Charles Bridge, which spans over six centuries. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, providing visitors with a comprehensive understanding of the bridge's construction, architectural features, and its role as a cultural symbol. The museum's layout is well-designed, guiding visitors through different sections that highlight various aspects of the bridge's history. I appreciated the interactive elements incorporated throughout the exhibits, including touchscreens, audio guides, and multimedia presentations. These interactive features brought the exhibits to life and offered a more engaging and informative experience. One of the highlights of the museum is the collection of historical photographs and artworks depicting Charles Bridge over the years. It was fascinating to see how the bridge has evolved and served as a backdrop for significant events throughout Prague's history. Additionally, the detailed replicas of the bridge's statues allowed me to appreciate their intricate craftsmanship up close. The museum also offers insightful information about the bridge's legends, myths, and folklore, adding an element of mystery and enchantment to the experience. I particularly enjoyed learning about the various statues' stories and the significance they hold in Prague's cultural heritage. The staff at the Charles Bridge Museum were friendly and knowledgeable, readily available to answer any questions and provide additional information. Their passion for the subject matter was evident, and their enthusiasm further enhanced my visit. While the Charles Bridge Museum offers a fascinating exploration of the bridge's history, it would benefit from additional interactive displays or multimedia installations to further engage visitors. Incorporating more hands-on activities or virtual reality experiences could provide an even more immersive and interactive learning experience. Overall, the Charles Bridge Museum is a must-visit for history enthusiasts, architecture lovers, and anyone seeking to understand the significance of Charles Bridge in Prague's cultural identity. Its well-presented exhibits, informative content, and passionate staff make it an enriching experience that leaves visitors with a deeper appreciation for this iconic landmark.

Went to the museum and Venice Canal Tour because it was part of the Prague Cool Pass and it meant sitting and resting feet from a lot of walking. The museum is a bit eclectic but the models of how the bridge was built are interesting and detailed enough to show how impressive medieval construction was. There is a cafe attached but did not use it. Toilets are 20czk and not included in the entry. The boat tour was quite enjoyable..first there is a boat! A traditional style for the river you are told. Once on the boat you are five beer, soda, tea of coffee and ice cream or gingerbread all complimentary. So already a great time and not even left the dock. The tour is about 45 min and doesn't go far but does show some key sites and the audio guide is informative and in several languages. You get to enter the Devil's Canal and while not very long it is a pleasureable view of a part of the city not seen otherwise. If you have. Prague Cool Pass, it is worth it.

Wouldn't recommend buying a ticket, very small museum with about 4 rooms. I thought it would be all about the bridge construction and statues, but is actually mostly about the Knights of the Red Cross. Best feature is the basement where you can see one of the original Bridge arches of the Judith Bridge, but that's not worth the 170 czk entry.

Paid for the boat + museum trip which we enjoyed. However, we weren't allowed to use their on-site toilets without paying extra and we didn't have any cash (having just used the rest to buy the tickets)

Nothing to see in the museum and 2 old women (from museum staff) next to the toilet were very rude. If you don't come to the museum you save time, money and a bad experience.

Beautiful little museum, which you can visit by cutting the same ticket for a cruise to Vltava. Its entrance is to Charles Bridge Tower. In front of its entrance you will see sailors ready to inform you and sell you a ticket. Inside you will see a life-size representation of workers who worked for the construction of the bridge. You will also find a very nice small café, where you will taste fresh local sweets and it is worth making a stop there.

This is a small museum very close to Charles Bridge. It contains many historical items. If you have visited bigger museums around the world, this will not be a museum that you will talk about for a long time. But why not visit it and decide for yourself. The entrance is free if you go on a boat trip on the Vltava River. So why not give it a try.

Very small museum and doesn’t take long to go around but worth a visit to see how the bridge has been constructed. Also you can find a boat tour there (sold separately) which offers drinks and headphones on board.

It’s a beautiful place, whatever you do, don’t get on the ferry rides who tries to sell you, they are all dressed up in sailor outfits, it’s very boring and the ride will make you fall asleep. It’s better to rent those boats and ride by yourself. It’s lot better and cheaper. The place is so beautiful it’s worth the visit: it’s more beautiful at night aswell.

Small but it gives you an idea how they built Charles' bridge which is very interesting. Before visiting I also had no idea that there was an earlier bridge - Juditin most / Judith's bridge. So, thanks!

The only redeeming factor is that a visit is free with a ticket for the castle and St. Vitus cathedral (which are really nice). The museum is tiny, but they still fill it with tours that crowd twenty people around anything worth seeing, forcing you to wait for the five to fifteen minutes for them to finish their explanation before you can see anything yourself. The bathrooms are also filthy and unstaffed despite costing 1 euro to use and being located in the paid area of the museum. If you buy the combi ticket for the cathedral/castle, don't feel rushed to head here afterwards.

A tiny museum, in 30 minutes you can see everything in detail. Admission is free if you buy a ticket for a boat tour from the Prague Venice company, which has a starting point nearby. You can see old tools used in the construction of the bridge, primitive cranes, models that reproduce the construction of the bridge but also many religious objects (the building that houses the museum was originally the hospital of the Crusaders) At the exhibition you can also see statues from the Old Town Bridge Tower. The museum also has a very nice cafe, closed, unfortunately.

if you are walking in the Old Town and are going over the Charles Bridge make sure to stop at this small museum. Not only does it have the history of the bridge, it also has the results of various art competitions, and a part of the original pillars!

Very Small. You can get free entry tickets by showing your Prague castle ticket or by purchasing the boat trip.

  • 5/5 james l. 1 year ago on Google
Get the river boat tour and museum combined ticket. We learned of the history and saw the riverfront from the river. Great for families or adults. Takes about 2 hours and you get to rest and take it easy.

  • 2/5 Jason K. 1 year ago on Google
The boat Tour was quite fun and really sweet. But Something, that was unpleasant, was that we had to pay an Euro for the toilet, after paying 18€ for the whole Tour...

  • 3/5 Rhiannon M. 1 year ago on Google
Very small museum next to Charles Bridge. To be honest I don't think it would be worth paying full price for a ticket but there are ways to get in free - the Prague Castle ticket let's you in free and if you do a river cruise you get in as part of the price of admission. So if you need to kill some time and you've already bought the castle ticket or the cruise then go for it!

  • 3/5 Aaron C. 1 year ago on Google
It's an standard museum that shows you how they built the bridge. There were few people inside which allow you to read carefully each story. Restroom/toilets are not free :(

  • 1/5 Sebastian n. 1 year ago on Google
Worst museum I've ever been. 3 rooms of exhibitions which are poor. Very expensive entrance (go only if you buy ticket for the castle - then entrance is free). Some parts of exhibitions are only in Czech language. For me (I like buildings and bridges and story of them) waste of time.

  • 3/5 Avina K. 1 year ago on Google
Small and a bit underwhelming. The section about the history of the bridge and how it was constructed was interesting. There's also a section where you can go underground and view some of the older pillars and walls.

  • 3/5 Ser . 1 year ago on Google
The museum it's small and there isn't much to see, however the entrance it's included with the ticket to the castle. If you visit the castle you might enter the same day, or the day after, the KM museum too.

  • 4/5 Vasilis F. 1 year ago on Google
Included with the Prague Castle ticket price. It was nice. Nothing special but good for its price. Also includes 50% off for the river boat tour which is nice.

I went in a day it was free. It was nice to enter if you want to get to know a little bit more of the city center. Its not a lot of information but good enough to start. It was quite full but mostly because the enter was free, im guessing.

Terrible staff wouldn’t recommend. Cafe staff giggling away and very rude. I went to pay and they laughed that I want to pay… they already switched off the till but yet laughed. Then I had to wait a while for them to switch it back on… Museum - not much to see in it. I went in as I had the entry from the castle ticket, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend paying to go in.
