😐 I saw pictures of this place online before visiting - and knew I wanted to photograph the library. It is 500 CZK per person to get in and an additional 200 for the right to take photos. We had come all the way, so I paid the extra to take the photos. Our entire visit was maybe 15-20 minutes. The... People often mention library,

I saw pictures of this place online before visiting - and knew I wanted to photograph the library. It is 500 CZK per person to get in and an additional 200 for the right to take photos. We had come all the way, so I paid the extra to take the photos. Our entire visit was maybe 15-20 minutes. There isn't a ton to see, and the 2 main libraries are both roped off, so you can only photograph from the entrance. We were in Prague for 5 days, so we had time to see it - but I don't know it would be worth the price to all visitors.

The National Literature Memorial in Strahov has over 6 million archive units in the Literary Archive, 600,000 volumes in the library and 250,000 objects in art collections in the territory of the Czech Republic from 1775 to the present. The memorial is established for the purpose of acquiring, collecting, permanently preserving and making available to the public collections of a museum nature. It also has a rich archive with the remains of our leading writers. Interesting statue of a lion with a shield. It was in front of the entrance to the library.

Beautiful - wonderful) I know that there is no entrance to the library and the prices are crazy, so)) See the architecture, be overwhelmed by the beauty) walk next to the church and take in the horizon (height from the mountain), good impressions came out)

Of course it was closed. But outside and around the PNP are beautiful. We really liked it here.

Admission fee is cash only. There is an additional charge for taking photos inside the facility. If you don't have cash on hand, there are ATMs and currency exchange machines a few minutes walk to the west. Tours inside the museum seem to require reservations, but they look interesting. If you're just going to see the place rather than taking a tour, seeing it in photos might make your dreams come true.

Not worth it. Place with two beautiful rooms full of books that you can only look at from the door, never enter. Paying 120 crowns to take a look in 5 minutes is not worth it. What's more, you can't even take photos unless... you pay 50 more crowns.

The Library is pretty but you have to pay to take pictures of it, what they don't say at the entry

Nice place. But paying to see the "front room" and not even the library itself is ridiculous. Tourist trap. In addition, you have to pay to take pictures. Ridiculous. Spend your time elsewhere.
