A sea of sensations. It's a fun place, especially for kids, where you can play with cars, see lots of trains and climb around on different vehicles. But if you take the figures you quickly get used to them and many of the buttons don't work. But overall brilliant, a great job done. A lot of thoughtful details. Cool when it changes colour to nighttime too.

I would rate it five for original idea and wonderful details. However, it could be better maintened. The tickets (28 € for family) are almost of the same price as for the Prague ZOO (32 € for family) but stil reasonable. The main and more or less the only activity is to observe all these amazing details. I understand that the whole point of this museum is to leave it as it is, as kind of ‘caught in historical moment’ and not to turn it into multimedia museum but some improvements in style could be done.

Amazingly detailed models of Prague and several other places in the Czech Republic with trains chugging and even a night/day change - definitely a place for multiple visits!

The models on the first level are good but the one on the lower floor is absolutely amazing. It’s the whole Czech Republic with very neat regional accents. Apart from trains, there are some additional toys from Czech Rep presented. Some of these are playable so it’s nice addition for children. What’s more - there is train, tram and bus cabins with in a simulator-like fashion available there. Unfortunately these don’t offer much interactivity. Given the time we spent there and how our kid enjoyed that - the price is fair and the place is surely worth visiting.

Could stay a whole day here with my 4 year old. He absolutely loved it. I wish some things in the exhibit were cleaned/fancied up a bit, but it didn’t really matter much in the end...it would just make me come back more often. Into trains? This is a cannot miss.

My little cousin loved this place, and I honestly did too. The models are beautifully crafted and the environments are rather detailed. Great place for fans of trains and for smaller children.

Love it! You can just see how much work and creativity is put into the installations. Also very cool to try to be the tram or bus driver.

It's not one of the main tourist attractions but don't skip it if you have the time. It is appreciated from both children and adults. The models are so huge and with attention to the details that we were amazed. The models are also interactive there are buttons everywhere that trigger different actions (like fighting between two drivers who have crushed their cars). It has two floors. And the lighting of the rooms change on day/night basis. It was definitely worth visiting.

(Translated by Google) Super, beautiful model, it's good to wait for dusk, when the lamps and lighting of buildings and bridges light up, ... The only complaint is that some buttons do not work (either they cannot be pressed or nothing happens) and I would say somewhere fallen figures (the mark certainly not on purpose) For children bus / tram driving simulators and a game room + another corner with kits and cars (Original) Super, krásný model, je dobrý si počkat na stmívání, kdy se rozsvícejí lampy a osvětlení budov a mostů,... Jediná výtka, že některá tlačítka nefungují (buď nejdou zmáčknout nebo se nic neděje) a řekla bych někde spadlé figurky (značka určitě né schválně) Pro děti trenažéry řízení autobusu/tramvaje a hernička + další koutek se stavebnicemi a auty

Tolle Eisenbahnanlage mit zusätzlichen Themen. Viele Knöpfe zum drücken damit etwas passiert. Fairer Preis.

The scale of this miniature world of trains and to the smallest detail recreated houses, people, cars, nature and cityscapes amaze the imagination. Here a day and night are changing, lights and even cars headlights are on, dummies are working, and trains, trams, and subways ride. Children most of all liked the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a real tram and locomotive. Everything is very interesting!

Impressive sized model set of Prague in the lower level with day night cycle. More sets with some interactive elements on the upper floor. Very nice experience altogether. Also very child friendly, your kids are going to love it. Really worth visiting. Bonus: commemorative coin in a vending machine at the entrance so you'll remember years later.

(Translated by Google) There is one of the largest railway models there. There is a day and night cycle. There are buttons that trigger / recall a train or are responsible for some other activity. There is a train simulator there that make you feel like a driver or a passenger. There are 4 simulators in total (tram, 2 train, bus). There is also a play area for children. A really interesting place, I recommend you to see it at least once. (Original) Jest tam jedna z większych makiet kolejowych. Funkcjonuje cykl dnia i nocy.

We found it after searching for a while, it has a beautifull collection of working train models, a tram, a bus and a couple of train cabins where kids or even grownups can simulate conducting such a vehicle, large displays with actual rides filmed in front of the driver included. It also has an extensive toy collection, in some places there are buttons that let you interact with the exhibits, there are two play rooms, one on each floor, comfortable chairs where you can sit while your kid is visiting or playing if you are to tired to move around. Definitely an attraction you can put on Prague city tour for kids.

Great place , we spend like 2 hours in there and we could stay more butt we had to go... great maketi ,you can see whole Czech republic in miniature , you can drive a bus ,tram or even a metro train in simulators... You can rade with RC small cars , build things from metal constructors... Highly recomended!!!

  • 5/5 Peter L. 4 months ago on Google
Absolutely amazing display of model railways. The venue is over 2 floors, but the sets are with incredible detail and accuracy. Fully automated with signals, switch points and dozens of rains running, I was blown away! I was able to get an English brochure that explained everything, so I could enjoy being mesmerised by the displays. Very interactive, so would be great to bring children to as well as adults enthusiasts. Great little gem that I stumbled upon, but highly recommended.

  • 5/5 Wiktoria B. 7 months ago on Google
There's a lot to see there, the dioramas are well made and interactive in some places. There are also pieces of a bus, tram and train you can get into. Too bad most of the buttons do nothing though, would be cooler if there was a driving simulator on the screen instead of a video. There's also a small restaurant where you can order some soup or a piece of cake and eat it in train seats. Kinda cool.

Now this is a place where a man child can spend an entire day and be happy, but where bringing the kids will make your day even better. Fair price and amazing amount of value.

  • 5/5 Charles W. 1 year ago on Google
I was blown away as I didn't expect it to be this large. There's so much detail in every diorama and they even have day/night cycles. They also had a remote controlled race car track 'cause why not and it didn't cost any extra.

If you love miniature railways, you just have to visit this place! Two floors of elaborate landscapes with so many details and of course trains chugging around the place. This space is perfect with children as well, they have so many hands-on exhibits and play spaces for youngsters, so it's great for families!

A great museum with great models and simulators of old trams and buses. Also changes between the sunrise-day-twilight and night modes so you get to view the mini lights of houses and cars. There are old toys and other models on display, an area for children, a restaurant and a greatly priced gift shop.

This place is horrible. We were a family of 4 with 2 kids under 100cm and it cost 620kc. Lots of attractions were broken and it was really dirty. The area for kids was sad, one playground that hasn’t been renovated since it was built and one play area with toys that was so messy. There were not many interactive activities and the ones they had were not great. I don’t understand why they don’t update the models and broken exhibits and give it a clean. Would not go again and would not recommend.

Great experience for the family, kids and model train and model car enthusiasts. Nice big layouts, with a huge one in the lower level. I wished that there were more trains running though. The model train layouts have buttons that trigger a sound effect or scene. Fascinating for kids and adults.

(Translated by Google) A place that will entertain boys and girls for at least 2 hours, the entrance fee is quite high (1 adult and 2 kindergarten children CZK 500), but it is definitely one of the best things you can take them inside in Prague. I recommend not going on weekends, but to take time off some day of the week and go to the opener right away, in exposed times you are just waiting for the seat of the tram / train / bus driver to become vacant. In other places it will be quite spread out. Since last time, an exhibition of Igráčeks has been added, which will also please parents, they are newly manufactured by Efko, and they have also made available a few cars with which children can play.

  • 5/5 Lukáš V. 3 years ago on Google
(Translated by Google) We really enjoyed the wonderful place. It's also fun for the elderly who will find a bunch of scenes from well-known films like Vrchní prchni, but I think that children will also enjoy it here. The entrance fee is fine even if you present a Czech Railways ticket, you will get a discount, I appreciate this. Otherwise, there are 2 floors loaded with a model track which is really elaborate and tuned to the last detail, there are mainly well-known and iconic places of the regions. A pile of trains of all kinds of carriers that can be met on the Czech railway network runs along the entire track. Everything is beautifully described with there are also interactive elements that often enhance the experience and even though there is "only" half of the Czech Republic, it is already huge. And I would almost forget that from Petra there is a beautiful view of the railway tracks of the regions. And I would also forget that there are also smaller model tracks that are either invented or you can find here, for example, a model of the railway research institute in Velim. You will also find simulators where you can try driving a tram or train. So ideal for all ages. It took us about three hours to inspect the entire track. So count on it being like that for half a day, as the exhibition is really very extensive and elaborate. In conclusion, I do not regret the trip to Prague from Pilsen, as this is really worth seeing. So I recommend to all ten👍 (Original) Nádherné místo moc jsme si to užili.

Great place for kids and adults. Czech Republic represented in railway road miniatures with action spots, where visitor can press button and see some extra action. Changing between day and night is present with street lights, lights in houses and car lights. Other collections of plastic, paper, wooden and metal models are present on side. There is a Prague interactive scale model located next to this site, free of charge.

(Translated by Google) Cons cons first: admission can upset visitors outside Prague used to a different price range, perfectionists will find more than one non-functioning interactive detail of the track, eternal dissatisfied people will be disappointed that hundreds of trains will not run in such a large track. But most will have fun for two to three hours. And it's not just about finding famous buildings and scenery in the individual "regions" of the track and observing the running of trains on the track. Yeah, and don't forget the giant multi-meter 3D model of Prague in a separate room. Children will definitely try to "drive" the tram. It just won't be wasted money. A není to jen o hledání známých budov a scenérií v jednotlivých "krajích" kolejiště a pozorování jízdy vlaků v kolejišti. Jo a nezapomeňte ani na obří mnohametrový 3D model Prahy v samostatné místnosti. Děti si určitě vyzkouší "řídit" tramvaj. Prostě nebudou to vyhozené peníze.

Not many things work and the racetrack was not in operation at the time of our visit. (Original) Nijak zvlášť nás Království železnic nenadchlo, myslím si, že za ty peníze to rozhodně nestojí. Nefunguje spousta věcí a závodní dráha nebyla v době naší návštěvy v provozu.

(Translated by Google) beautifully done, completely elaborated on the track. it can be seen that the people who do it there actually have it as their hobby, not just work. there are various buttons with which you can move some parts of the track, the children enjoyed it very much. super :) (Original) krasne spravene, uplne do detailov prepracovane drahy. je vidiet, ze ludia, ktori sa tam tomu venuju to maju vlastne ako svoje hobby, nie len pracu. su tam rozne tlacitka, ktorymi mozete rozpohybovat nejake casti drahy, deti to velmi bavilo. super :)
